Scallops, cole slaw and squash

Atmosphere was a bit underwhelming. Kinda like an aged pub. I had the scallops and they were good; not amazing, but good. My husband ordered the ribeyw and it was cooked perfectly to order. The service was perfectly adequate. There are no complaints.

I had fisherman platter for takeout. I ate up on the ridge. It was good and well prepared.

I always go the Boston Seafood, it is always fresh and plentiful. It is not a fancy place, but clean. The waitresses are pleasant.

I have to say, this was a bizarre experience. It was a holiday weekend, and they were totally…read morebooked up, and also short staffed. It was our first and only time there, so I'm banking on that they were a little off their game. So it took about 20 minutes for us to get water, or a waitress. Then it took what felt like 3 minutes to get our apps and/or entrees, which came about 2 minutes apart. Big portions, so we didn't get dessert. But I will say that the food was excellent. They have mocktails too. There was no one there when we left, so it because less stressful. I'd go again.

The 4-star rating is mainly for the portions and service. I'm not saying that the food was crap,…read morebut just manage expectations and treat this more of a casual pub scene, rather than fine dining. The first time I came here, I actually did not eat or drink anything. That's because as I perused through the menu, the restaurant lost power from a thunderstorm. So they basically could not serve food for an unknown period of time. I thanked them for being informative and kind and moved on to a different spot for the evening meal. I decided to return a second time. The wings (Buffalo and garlic parmesan) were well-fried and flavorful. The risotto had too much balsamic vinegar on top, and the rice tasted a little sweet (think rice pudding). Both were turnoffs for me, and felt fortunate that it wasn't my order. The buffalo mac n' cheese was quite good, with a large portion that made it satisfying. Service was friendly and kind throughout and the decor was okay, though a little dark inside (even when they had electricity). This is a decent choice for food and it is on a main road.

Sunday Brunch was amazing. Because of that our server convinced us to return on Monday evening for…read moretheir Pappardelle Bolognese which she claimed was amazingly delicious. So we retuned and to start things off we asked for a bread basket . We were told none and we had to order their French Bread app The bread came and it wasn't French Bread but Ciabatta toasted with some very good EVOO and whipped butter. We thought okay no big deal we're excited for our pasta dish A short time later our pasta dishes came and much to our surprise, the Pappardelle pasta was substituted with Mafaldine, a much heavier dough. Very disappointed but not as much as their response to us via Open Table. So when planning your dinner at this place remember to ask the server to confirm the dish contents prior to ordering.

We came for Valentine's Day day brunch. Made a reservation. We waited for a hostess for about 10…read moreminutes. A waitress finally sat us against the windows. The waitress that sat us constantly was apologizing for lack of staff. No hostess no bartender. Our waitress came over, different than the waitress that sat us, she took our coffee order. Then came back for food order however we asked for mimosas. She told us it would be a few minutes due to lack of bartenders. Want to be clear we were early enough there was only 3 tables that were already eating before we were seated. So not busy at all. Waitress returned with orange juice and a splash, true splash of champagne. So much so there was no hint of bubbles from the champagne. We ordered the Smoked salmon Benedict and I ordered the bagel with lox with a side of bacon and 2 eggs. The Benedict was ok, the ratio between the amount of bread to the rest was high. The bagel and lox came out as a sandwich that was pressed. Eggs had a layer of grease and the bacon was crispy that broke with touched with the fork. The inside is gorgeous with nice chairs and tables plenty of seating. Wooden cross beams. To be honest, that was the highlight of the brunch. Would we go back, I highly doubt it since the cost was over $100.
