Never got my food after asking 4 times got to the point a teammate had to give me the rest of mine

Stopped in for an evening appy with my daughters. turned out to be appy hour. Service was excellent, triple play was even better. Chicken was hot, chips were cooked and cheese was melted on bread. overall a very good experience for an unplanned stop. read more

Very bad experience. Insisted that the would charge me $25 fir a menu item that clearly was advertised at $11.99 on the menu on their website. They argued that corporate posts in their website and they have not control and that the item should be takeout special only. Very rude. I stood up and left and drove straight to the spruce grove Heil Way location. The honoured the price not questions. We're polite and the waitress was so pleasant she made the meal very memorable. read more

Attentive and courteous staff PLUS yummy food! Three of us went here and loved it. Our orders were taken promptly and wait staff was patient and accommodating to the young member of the dinner party. Children's portion was a bit small with very portion of fries as compared to other BP restaurants but that the only glitch. Our pizza, and Sante Fe salad and Mediterranean Salad were an option we enjoyed. When I sent a picture of the Sante Fe salad to friend, he was surprised..... In a good way that it was BP! read more

Amazing service, amazing staff, most importantly, amazing food. I stayed locally in the area for a vines trip and the second I walked in I felt very welcomed and ready to eat. From the minute I opened the menu I know this place was going to be worth it. the prices are decent for what you're paying for. Try it out, try the lasagna, you can choose any sauce you want and it's baked to perfection, cheese nicely baked on top! Also the spinach artichoke dip comes out boiling and it has this rich creamy cheese great texture to it which makes it easy to enjoy. read more

We made a reservation to eat here for mother's day. When we arrived they didn't have a table reserved for us. We were taken to a table that was still wet and we were given napkins to dry it ourselves. Staff was decent. The food was delicious other than the veggie burger. We were given napkins with food on them. Overall not a bad experience but definitely not the best service. read more

So happy this is our local BP! I'm even happier that they are able to provide safe options for my husband who has Celiac disease. Boston Pizza's are a dime a dozen, but their quality and service differ drastically depending on location. For instance the Spruce Grove BP's is dingy, old, poor parking and employs mainly apathetic bored teenagers as servers that barely acknowledge you when you enter. The Stony Plain Boston Pizza on the other hand is great. Perhaps it's because it's one of the only family restaurants in the small town, but although it's consistently busy, it is always exceptionally managed. The food on the menu is consistently cooked to perfection and is the best we've had at any location in Edmonton and area. The servers are mostly students, but they actually seem to enjoy their job (far more than their Spruce Grove counterparts). In fact, we've been going to BP's regularly ever since we had our little girl and after 3 years (and after we moved from Edmonton to Stony Plain) it was at this location that the friendly severs offered something that has never been offered to us before : complimentary "baby" spaghetti. This portion is perfect for our toddler and it's just a total bonus that she gets to eat for free. Many BP's do not offer this option - maybe it's a small town thing? I don't know. They also offered us disposable bibs (which again no big whoop- we often have one) but until recently we weren't even aware that BP's as a company even offered such a thing. The only thing I can say badly about this location, actually has nothing to do with the servers, food or management. It's the local cliental. As I am now one of the "locals" I won't go too harshly, but my husband and I both noticed that a lot of the elderly and some middle aged couples (possibly living on the acreages in the area?) are incredibly rude and short tempered with the staff. We watch these kids bend over backwards with politeness and doing everything possible, while these people are often insulting and down right abusive. We have felt on a couple occasions to pull a server aside after he/she had a strip torn out of themselves over something like : bring me free ranch dip or something silly, just to let them know that not everyone treats people in that manner and while "the customer is always right", that no sometimes they aren't :P read more

Although I usually have good experiences at this location and eat here quite often, the other day was terrible. The waitress serving us was fed up with coronavirus as am I, but she turned the conversation into the protests of George Floyd. In the middle of the restaurant she blurted out that black on white crime is significantly higher and that blacks kill more whites. I was astonished that she was saying this at such a tragic time. You can have your opinion but why yell such an offensive statement in a restaurant with many races inside! I was appalled! read more

I had phoned and 2 meals they told me it would be a 20-30 minute so I arrived 30 minute and sat there for 45 minutes watching 9 other people walk in and out collecting there orders! After finally getting my order not a discount was placed on the bill and on top not even an apology!!! I got home and are food was soggy and half cold, not what I'm expecting from a $50 bill! Went for supper on Valentine's day .Knew it would be busy and slow but this was outrageous. Got there at 4:30 and finally got out at 6:30 .Appatizer finally came half hour later them part of our main meal came hour later and the rest 20 min later with all the excuses a waitress could give you. No compensation. When you know your going to have a busy night you better prepare. Poor management. read more

I am actually sitting at the restaurant now...it took over 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. There are 3 tables here with customers. A new table came in and they served them first! How do you miss s table of 5 people that you sat over 15 minutes ago! The pop is flat, and my beer (corona) had no lime. My husband went over to the lounge to get some. The food took over 20 min to come and it was the lunch specials. The 3 people in our party got their good and we waited another 6 min for our lunch. I am SO not impressed with the service and it is filthy here. NEVER come here if you have a choice!!!! read more

We used to eat at this Boston Pizza over all other pizza places in the Edmonton area, it was that good for pizzas and other entree's on the menu (the parmesan chicken was great). Last week, the waitress waited (and waited and waited) to take our order until I had got up to look for something to read, and only my husband was at the table, thus not respecting that a female customer is as important as a male customer when there is a couple at a table. She then got our order wrong, omitting the one part of the order that I had insisted to my husband should definitely be added to the pizza, (the particular pizza was his choice). When she brought the wrong order, she apologized saying she must have put the wrong item in the order, and were we OK with this. We were not interested in getting her in trouble with the kitchen or her boss, so we accepted the order. It was an OK pizza, not up to the usual standards of that Boston Pizza. Wait staff need to remember is that this is the dinner out for people, it is somewhat special, a dinner out can be celebrating or just having relief from the usual meal-making, either way, when the wait staff do not take all customers seriously at all tables, they basically ruin a special time of relaxation for the customers. The restaurant was not full, so she was not overly busy. I then ordered a small pizza to go, the actual pizza I wanted, and asked for multi-grain crust (which is on the menu). She told us that they do not have multigrain crusts anymore, and, only when pressed, said this is a company decision, not a decision of that location. There is not even a posit note on the menu to let customers know this, we must find it out by looking forward to a multi-grain crust, only to be disappointed when ordering one. So, in a time when we know much more about good health, and Boston Pizza has items they call more healthy, they remove an important, basic, health item from the menu. When my small vegetarian pizza arrived, it had almost no topping on it at all, four tiny pieces of mushroom (almost impossible to find, they were so small and thin), several thin slices of green pepper, a few thin slices of onion, and the smallest, thinnest four slices of tomato you could put on a pizza and still say there was tomato on the pizza, and there was only one of these, haphazardly placed, per slice of pizza. It was a very unacceptable experience at the Stony Plain Boston Pizza. read more

This is without a doubt THE WORST BOSTON PIZZA I have ever been to! 3 times in a row we have had the worst food possible. Don't even try the home deliveries!!!!! Boston beef dip had 1 piece of dried up meat on it cactus fries with no dip and all so soggy and cold it had to be re heated in the oven for any sembance of food! I would not reccomend this location with it's inflated prices ridiculous hour or more wait times and horrid food to my worst enemy!!!! read more
