We just go for those two dishes because they are simply too gooooood. Just classic dishes!! The pizza style at L&W is unique to the restaurant - the dough is quite thick (I noticed it was halfway between a thin crust and a Chicago deep dish pizza), and always has a very generous amount of cheese on top!!! The pizza menu is excellent: there is the basic cheese pizza, Greek, meat lovers, vegetarian and L&W Special. But if these do not appeal, you have the option of having one, two and even extra toppings. Sizes vary from small 8" to extra large 14". Other menu items include charbroiled, BBQ and steak, Italian and pasta dishes, Greek, subs, salads and sides, as well as a kids menu. The staff is usually young, but still very professional and polite. We started by ordering two Pepsis, which arrived very obviously watered down. After mentioning it to our server, she responded that it was just how the machine makes them, delivered with a somewhat condescending tone, but offered canned drinks instead, which we accepted. We ordered two sets of Thai Bites with extra sauce; unfortunately, both arrived cold, and one plate barely had enough sauce to cover the chicken, let alone extra. We also ordered French fries and yam fries, which came out hot and were good. The manager (a man in a blue shirt) later came by to apologize for the drinks and confirmed the dispenser had been fixed. After we spoke with him about the cold food, he apologized and removed the Thai Bites from our bill. Both the server and manager checked on us often afterward, and the manager was especially friendly and helpful. We finished with the Chocolate Brownie Addiction, which was warm, sweet, and very good -- easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, the experience had a rough start, but the manager's excellent customer service and willingness to fix the issues helped end the visit on a positive note.
