I normally stick with tried and true staples when trying new places, burgers, chicken wings, or a club sandwich. But I was thinking something lighter and the menu was so broad I figured the chef had confidence to step outside the box. I daringly ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl. Truthfully, I would have been disappointed in this dish had I been sitting on a patio in a harbour town like Halifax or Vancouver. However, given that I was hours from the ocean, this was a decent dish. Oddly, aside from being slightly "mayo forward", it was the freshness of the avocado and mango, rather than the tuna, that held the dish back. While the menu is very broad, the staples may be a better bet after all. Service was friendly and attentive, prices also seemed reasonable. Overall, a reasonable choice, especially for hotel guests.

Even though we were the only people in the restaurant we were very fortunate to get impeccable service. If I ever find myself in Hinton again I will be checking out this spot!
