She was a frequent flier to the vet and had to get monthly allergy injections to keep her comfortable. After being on a prescription hydrolyzed protein food for a while, she was having a hard time. Our vet suggested we see a Dermatologist. Enter Dr. Painter. I should have played the lottery the day we went to see her because it was for sure a lucky day. We met over the phone due to Covid. Never having met face-to-face, she listened to all the ups and downs for our dog. She never made me feel like a burden or bother - she was engaged and genuinely interested. Post our chat and our dog's in-person visit - Dr. Painter easily laid out a plan for her. She had seen other dogs like ours and recommended a new food and additional interventions. Our dog was in excellent hands. As if we needed additional proof, most recently, our dog ended up in the ER with her most severe allergic reaction ever. Unfortunately, the ER doctor was a generalist and couldn't pinpoint the issue. So, I emailed Dr. Painter photos of the breakout without a second thought. Within a few minutes, she responded with a diagnosis and intervention. Our dog was made comfortable and in stable condition. We followed up with Dr. Painter and now understand the issue and a long-term care plan for our dog. We are glad Dr. Painter came back to the East Coast and that she can be a part of our dog's care. She and her team always show genuine care for both pets and humans. We can't recommend her enough for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, engaged, and superly awesome human being who also happens to be an excellent dermatologist. Sadly, we recently suffered a death in our family and inherited two cats--Rocky, who is 10, and Wall-E, who is 8 months old. Since Wall-E needed to be neutered, a dear friend recommended Kindness Animal Hospital, and we are so thankful they did. From the very first phone call, when we spoke with Brenda and explained our story, we were met with nothing but kindness, compassion, and understanding. It meant more to us than she probably realizes. Dr. Rosenblatt examined both of our newly adopted fur babies and helped us get Wall-E scheduled for his neutering at just the right time. Sam and everyone else on the staff made us feel so welcome. You can tell they genuinely love animals, and that love carries over to the people who walk through their doors, too. The care our boys received was exceptional, and we were also so appreciative that it was affordable. During a difficult time for our family, everyone at Kindness made something that could have been stressful feel easy. We can't recommend Kindness Animal Hospital enough. They truly live up to their name. When you walk through their doors, you're treated with kindness, compassion, and respect, and your pets are treated like family. Thank you, Dr. Rosenblatt, Brenda, Sam, and the entire Kindness family for taking such wonderful care of Rocky, Wall-E, and us. We are so grateful. With love, Rudy, Eva, Rocky & Wall-E

I…read morecannot say enough about Dr. Hartman, Dr. Tast, Dr. Hedges, and the entire team at Wellesley Animal Hospital. How they can remember the special medical needs and unique personalities of each and every pet they care for is mind boggling!! The technicians and receptionists are all extremely knowledgeable, friendly and caring. Even during the pandemic, when they were extremely vulnerable to illness and often short staffed, they never let it sacrifice the level of excellence they provide in caring for all animals. The practice appreciates that - our animals are members of our family, and treat them as such. When our dog, Piper, was battling late stage heart disease they were masters in getting her medication just right, providing her with the highest quality of life until the very end. They exhausted every option, were patient when we had questions/emergencies with medication and always had time to talk us through anything that came up. The front desk was kind enough to make multiple calls and follow-up on our behalf to help find an emergency ultrasound appointment, once again exceeding our expectations. Piper lived (comfortably) well beyond what was expected for a dog diagnosed with late stage Heart Disease. When it was her time, and she was no longer comfortable, Dr. Hartman was there to talk us through the difficult decision we had to make. She showed extreme compassion and empathy towards our family and Piper also advising us on how to handle and support our other dog, who was losing her best friend. We knew that she cared just as much as we did about Piper. She made comments about her strength and her sweet personality. As a result, we were able to say goodbye in a way that felt right for us. Dr. Hartman, Dr. Task and staff took time (after hours) to allow for the process to be private. They were so kind and thoughtful towards my entire family including our other dog. We all grieved together. It was the best possible process for an awful, but inevitable event. We are so grateful we were able to give Piper the respect and peace she deserved. They sent us a condolence note and made a donation to an Animal foundation in memory her name. In short - they are a group of exceptionally talented, generous and dedicated humans who go above and beyond. You should consider yourself fortunate if you are able to be a part of this practice.

I have recently started going to the SILK Veterinary Hospital with my Shetland Sheepdog Cooper…read morewhich is owned and operated by Dr. Marion Silk. I have been a bit unhappy with the Vet I have had over the last 8 years in Natick which is part of a small chain as I don't consistently see the same Dr. every time I go. About a little over a month ago I was driving by what used to be the Phoenix Veterinary Hospital, I saw a new sign Silk Veterinary Hospital with a big "open" sign so I thought I would stop in and check it out as it is 5 minutes from my house. I met with Dr. Silk, she was very personable and had a great conversation. I then scheduled an appointment for my dog Cooper for the following Monday for a physical and to have her review the thyroid test done by the previous Vet. We met, she gave a his physical (she was great working with Cooper) and reviewed his thyroid levels, then after a short discussion she put him on a low dose of thyroid medicine. He has been in the medicine over a month, he has much more energy (he walks about 5 miles a day with me), his coat looks 10x better and his nose isn't running. Earlier this week, I took him in for a follow up blood test and everything came back normal. While I was there Dr. Silk suggested that Cooper should have his teeth cleaned and x-rayed to make sure his were healthy and we scheduled an appointment for this past Friday(yesterday). Everything went very smoothly, they called me several times during the day to let me know how he was doing and lol, when I went to pick him up for the first time ever, he wasn't rushing out the door of the Vets office when I got there which he usually does. Before I forget, the prices paid are reasonable (no Vet is cheap) and I did pay less than what my previous Vet was going to charge me. They a very professional yet homey like a small office should be. If you are looking for a great Vet, look no further try the out, I am sold on them! Cooper and the Hill Family

Our kitty was diagnosed with hyper thyroid about two years ago, and has been the vet a LOT in that time. Like most cats, he doesn't like leaving the house, interacting with strangers and certainly kicks up a fuss when someone tries to take his blood or give him a shot. We also moved recently, so we tried out a different vet that didn't work out well at all, so we were as stressed out as the poor cat. Usually after a vet visit, he'll sulk, hide and hold a grudge for at least six hours, but after visiting Dr. Singh, he was totally chill.
