I can say that while we were nervous going into this moment, when Dr. Cushing arrived at our home both my partner and I felt at ease and calm. Words cannot express how amazing Dr. Cushing was with on Thursday the 26th of August when we had to put our sweet 15 year old Chiweenie, Koko, to rest. Always extremely difficult to make that critical decision to end a pets suffering. A few weekends ago, I had to make that choice for my boy, Charlie. Recently, Charlie had to make two visits to the vet, and his condition worsened. Frequent vet visits were going to need to be scheduled likely weekly. Making sure he was comfortable, I took him home for the purpose of giving him lots of cuddles, special treats, and quality time with me and Rascal.
