Lumi is my one-stop shop for all beauty spa needs! I've tried almost everything from botox/filler to body contouring and facials. Dr. H and her team are amazing and really work with you to achieve your goals. They take a very minimal approach because, of course, less is more, and they genuinely work with you every step of the way to ensure you're happy with your treatment and results. Also- I can't recommend you sign up for this AMAZING membership enough. It's so worth it. It's also a reminder to take care of yourself every month. I'm alternating between facials and the massage each month, and on top of that, the member prices are unbeatable! Boston quality services without the crazy prices. I really appreciated the emails before my appointment to set up a time and the thorough online medical record I could fill out before my actual appointment. They took my insurance AND they had an appointment within 2 weeks with Dr. Doktor, the board certified dermatologist on site. One thing I really hate about going to the dermatologist- I think it's the reason I waited 10 years- is the pressure to do cosmetic treatments. I don't want to be getting some mole biopsied while someone is trying to sell me Botox and basically insulting my face. It's demeaning and crappy. And I can safely say nothing even remotely like that previous experience occurred at the Skin Center. There are some discrete signs in the lobby and exam room for fillers, but aside from asking me if I wanted to talk about my 2 zits (no), I felt no pressure to do anything but get checked over. The doctor was thorough and really nice and yay, no skin cancer! They clearly treat lots of skin conditions in addition to providing fillers, etc, so it seems a good place for all your skin needs with lots of appointment availability. I 100% recommend them for skin cancer screening. Don't forget to wear sunblock.

They had a Groupon and I had never heard of the procedure before (I've never really been into cosmetic or beauty treatments). Emsculpt was appealing because it was like condensing months of strength training into a single, effective session. I immediately felt the results and could work out longer and more effectively. I was hooked. Months later, I can attest that the results are very real (it takes a few weeks to see them). The ladies here (especially the owner and lead nurse) are great. Covid-19 procedures were followed. I felt very comfortable and happy with my results.

The facial was no more than light massaging around the cheeks and chin. Not sure what made it toning and it is most definitely not worth the $125 price tag they typically throw on it. My technician, Rachael, was great! I wear medical devices that's can't be taken off and she was very accommodating around them which I very much appreciated. The massage felt good but for the price fell short for me. You enter into a bay that is divided with a curtain from the customers next to you. While you're paying for your $175+ massage you can hear the conversations going on around you. Upon finishing you're lead right to their "wellness room" where they show you all of their products and supplements they have for sale and then led to the front desk to sell you on packages immediately. I think the experience would have been more worth it if I hadn't seen my money being thrown in their "upscale" tactics like solid black toilet paper, custom towels that you can see until you're getting re-dressed in dim lighting, and everything they own being labeled with their logo. I would have preferred a cheaper massage for what we're all there for - lympathic drainage.
