So here I am back renewing my review. It is just ridiculous how Kyle can lie his way thru a one star review until a disgruntled customer finally gives up trying to get any resolution to legitimate claims of misrepresentation and/or damages incurred by Boss trucks. The reviews are on Facebook for a reason! It's because Kyle can block you and he will always have the last word! The problems with my truck are so numerous that I am forced to take this to the next level, which is thru the court system. Here's just a couple examples: the truck arrived with the original title yet, when I went down to have it transferred to my name I was informed that the title was invalid as a duplicate had been issued one month after Boss received it from the prior owner. I personally spoke to the prior owner and he assured me the title was sent to Boss, which in fact it was, otherwise I wouldn't have had it in my possession. Which begs the question....why was a duplicate made if an original was sent with the truck? One must know the reasons for applying for a duplicate title to come to their own conclusions as to why it was issued in the first place. While sitting in my attorneys office, as I brought this to light to Kyle, he texted me and told me to remove all my reviews before I would get any help from him. My attorneys response was, and I quote, "how does this guy sleep at night, I will take this case". That issue has been resolved after, according to Kyle, a third title was issued, "with some additional cost involved". The truck was owned by the owner of a timber company, which is contradictory to the statement that Boss does not build trucks used for work purposes as evidenced by the dents in the bed of the truck I purchased.
The truck arrived in the rain so it was the following morning before I could do a thorough inspection. I suppose I could have said, "I refuse to take delivery as an inspection is not feasible under the circumstances". But after waiting for nearly a month to receive it, after doubts of legitimacy and the stress of thinking I got scammed, the truck was dropped of in my driveway. There were so many scratches on the truck that I was forced to take the shipping company to court for damages. I was awarded the amount of the estimate that their insurance adjuster quoted and am now in the process of having that fixed. The reason I bring this up is because the shipping company informed the judge that they never got paid because Kyle stopped payment on the check! So the judge deducted $525.00 from my judgement to cover the cost! That was the first time I had ever taken anyone to court so I just bit the bullet and accepted the judgement. Now, you could surmise that I'm just trying to get something for nothing, or I'm 'sue happy', and you're certainly entitled to that....but nothing could be further from the truth.
I requested the Sledge D 595 rims as was my prerogative according to Boss but did not receive them. Now Kyle will tell you that we had a phone conversation of which I agreed to the rims that came on the truck. That conversation never took place and I have text requesting the other rims. Kyle will tell you that the walk around video that I requested shows the rims but he will not tell you the video was received five days into transit.
I asked for an in-grill light bar as opposed to a roof mounted light bar, and I did get that, but when Boss mounted the roof bar someone ran a self tapping screw up into the A pillar outer skin causing cracking and spider webbing of the paint.
There is so much more and I can back it up with photos, emails, texts and a very good memory as well. Ambers review is 100% accurate, as is mine. Jameson's review is 100% accurate as well. If you're set on buying a truck from them sight unseen, no amount of bad reviews will sway your decision. But those reviews, especially on Facebook, hide the reality of what is really going on. I would be more than happy to discuss Boss trucks in more detail to anyone considering this purchase. read more
