Came here for wing Wednesday. Was 70% full at 6:30PM on a Wednesday. You get ~10 wings per order. We got 5 flavors. Worked out to be approx. $40. We got pop as our drink and I'm glad we asked but it is NOT non-stop (no free refills). Waitress was nice but very busy. Flavors and their ratings: Honey Garlic: 10/10 my personal favorite. Very well sauced. Dill pickle: 8/10 Flavoring was just a light dusting and did not stick really well to the wings. Nice flavor just wish there was more of it. Lemon pepper: 9/10 Flavoring stuck better to these wings. This was Friend 1s favorite as it had a nice zing to it. Bangin Bacon: 10/10 Friend 2s favorite, i also really enjoyed this one. Nice and creamy and flavor. Not a strong flavor. Moroccan: 3/10 everyone least favorite. Very bland. Tastes like paprika only. Overall the wings had a good amount of meat on them, were hot and fresh and I would come back! read more

This is one of our top favourite places for wing night. Despite bustling with business on Wednesdays, the turnaround is quite quick, so you can be seated pretty quickly. Our past two visits around 5:30pm required no waiting; the longest we've ever had to wait was 30 minutes.  Parking can be quite tough though, as Bo's is located in a small strip mall with a limited-space parking lot that is shared with the other businesses. You can usually find more parking behind the building near the Corner Pocket.  Admittedly, aside from their wings, I haven't had the chance to try any of their regular menu items so can't comment on those. But we've visited a handful of times on wing Wednesdays and are always pleased with the fast-paced service and flavours of their wings. My favourite picks are the Bangin' Bacon, Dill Pickle, Thai Chili, and of course, the classic Honey Garlic. I have found that on some busy nights, they've skimped out on the flavourings that we've had to scrape them from the bottom of the basket, but I'm sure the servers would be happy to bring you extra flavourings if you ask. Our most recent visit was a nice surprise as they were still decked out with their seasonal decorations; so fun! One of my favorite spots in Red Deer for wing night and the majority of the wing flavours are very well done. We decided this time to get Banging bacon which to me is a solid choice for anyone but sometimes all the sauce runs off it so I find I'm having to scoop the sauce off the bottom of the basket. Dill pickle which is a good dry rub even though this time they didn't put much of the powder on it, and honey hot which I personally really like but it does pack a bit of heat so my significant other didn't love it as she doesn't love the hot but still likes the taste. Baskets have about ten wings each and size is fairly normal so nothing crazy to comment on there The restaurant was all done up for Christmas which was really fun to look around and check out. Food came very quickly which was really nice and our server asked us if we needed anything multiple times which was very appreciated! read more

It is a very large local spot with stage for bands and probably jammed on sat. Night. 6p on Monday not so much, 9 tables seated and service was VERY slow, appeared to be back end issue not wait staff. Server was very polite, knew all the specialty beers and menu well. Food was very well done. Nachos app. huge and plenty of toppings but baked right on the sheet so many were stuck to foil. Cuban and fried chicken both large, hot and spot on. Wanted a dog freindly patio, picked Bo's from Yelp. It is a huge bar with live music. We were there at 4 so no music. Burger was burnt, not well done, burnt. Salad had a live bug in it, this is Oct so from inside? Turkey poutine was average. Just a bar with bar food. read more

This place is everything I hate about Alberta bars: The huge open spaces, the fancy wood work and big TV's, the food that tries to be original and gastro-style but clearly isn't all that great, and the overall vibe of superficiality. If your from Red Deer this is probably a great place, if your from Edmonton this is an AWESOME place, if your from Calgary it is average, and if your from....well...San Francisco this place just does not cut it. read more

My favorite place to be on wednesday for wing night. I always look forward to eating here whenever i visit canada, its so good and there is nothing like it in california!! Drinks are also pretty good, they definitely do not water it down and my favorite wings are the honey garlic (basic i know) !!! its so good, i would get more but i feel like im gonna be judged. It was my first time at Bo's but it is very well known across Red Deer. This place was crazy busy on a Saturday night and they seemed under staffed so that really swayed my opinion. It took some fancy footwork to get up to the bar and then I waited 10 minutes to order drinks. We eventually found a table and had a server come to us. I tried ordering 4 different beers and they were out even though they were still written up on the board. The server suggested one and I ordered it but it tasted off, I am not sure if the keg was just changed or it was the end of it. The decor in here was super cool and the booths were comfortable. I am told that the food is good here but I didn't try anything. I will need to go back the next time I'm in town to try the food and experience it when it's not so busy. read more

I have been here a lot. But today it was a different experience. I ordered a dip of the menu and asked what it came with. Little chips was the response. No mention that they were cactus chips aka soaked in lava. Got a Caesar so spicy I could even sip it. Got nachos not only were there jalapenos which are usually ok but there were so many sliced I could barely eat them and then I discovered also diced and covering the nachos. Like I don't know who makes the food here but spicy everything to a point of not being able to eat it is not ok. Finally ordered sangria, like an idiot or had a random name for booze I didn't recognize I should have googled it. It was bourbon. Who the heck puts bourbon in sangria? It suppose to be a light refreshing drink. This was not the case it was heavy on the bourbon no light fruity flavor. After tonight I will be hard pressed to come back. read more

Whenever I'm in Red Deer, I go to Bo's. It's big and has nice decor, woodwork and comfy chairs. There's something on special every night, so you're always in luck, whether you're there for food or drinks. Each booth has it's own private screen and you can play poker or other games with a computerized system, and against other people in the bar. I like their menu. There are healthy and unhealthy options, if you want. Like Original Joe's, with a meal you get to pick two sides and the list of options is really long. I love options. I had a half chicken with baked beans and Caesar salad. When I was there it was karaoke night, but unlike some places it didn't overpower everything, and the singing wasn't bad either. read more

I've been in Red Deer since 2005, and it was probably one of the first pubs I ever tried. While there have been some staff members that made me stop going over the years, the new management have kept the place running the way it ran all the years I've gone. Their wings are some of the most consistent in town (wing night Wednesdays are PACKED in there), and the wing flavour options are killer. I never see any major disturbances in there, and there's now plenty of TVs to watch the games. Their menu has changed in the past while, and the new selections are pretty interesting... read more

Very interesting food for a Bar and Grill. Warm Potato Salad was fried new potatoes with a not too heavy bacon dressing. The parogies with (wait for it) bacon and lightly fried onions was great. The cheesecake parfait alas did not have bacon. Regardless, it was unique and delicious. The Mezcal margarita was excellent, and the beer selection impressive. read more

I passed by this place on a sunny Saturday afternoon and noticed the packed patio out front.  Looked nice so I turned around and stopped in.  I was surprised by a great and diverse menu with lots of options that looked like trying.  While I stopped to enjoy a drink in the sun, I decided that I had to try one of their great menu offerings.  On Saturday and Sunday they serve brunch until 4:00 pm so I decided on the Breakfast Poutine which is hashbrowns covered in cheese curds, bacon and Italian Sausage and topped with a fried egg, hollandaise sauce and green onions.  What could be better than that?!  Well, after trying it, my answer is . . . not much!!  It was absolutely delicious.  The hollandaise sauce was some of the best I've ever tasted.  The egg was cooked to perfection and the helpings of bacon and sausage were very generous.  The combined flavours made for an excellent dish.  They also had some great specials that you don't see on a lot of menus.  I will definitely be back to try more! read more

I have went to Bo's about five times and each time I have enjoyed it. The service has always been great and the food is excellent as well. They have a good selection of craft beers, which some rotate in and out. Other pubs in Red Deer have a better beer selection but the food here is better than the other places I have tried. The burgers and fries are the best in Red Deer that I have tried. I have never been here for a live music event though. Keep up the good work. read more

Lists as a "Sports Bar", so I went to watch a hockey game. The hostess at the door asked what brought me in and that's what I said "hockey game, meal, and a beer." She told me they had three bands tonight, but the TVs at the bar will stay on...well with 5 minutes to go in a one goal game, they turned off all the TVs. I asked why, they said because of the band...so why was the game still on for the first two? And why did the hostess say the bar TVs would still show the game? I can appreciate that they want to book bands, but when you advertise yourself as a "Sports Bar" and you turn off a great game for a band on a Tuesday night, don't cal, yourself a "Sports Bar" because you're not. You're a bar that shows sports when you don't have anything else booked. If I would have been told, I wouldn't have stayed and ordered food to watch a band I could care less about when I came to watch a game. Was here for a bachelorette party and food was not good. Fried Chicken was over cooked. Steak was over cooked and needed lots of salt for any semblance of flavour... no seasoning at all! Tuna poke was way too finely chopped, bland and the only flavour came from a lime on the side... super overpriced for what you get and definitely would not recommend for food. We had to leave for another engagement else I would have sent the steak back - it was that under seasoned and over cooked. I ordered rare and got Chicago charred... However, the ladies I were with enjoyed their drinks and I was told the wings tasted great. I'd recommend this place for drinks only. read more

Stopped here on our way through town and so glad we did. The food was delicious and different than what one would expect from a bar and grill. I'd come back for sure and would love to check out their live entertainment. We had a couple of appetizers (lettuce duck wraps and billionaire's bacon - both very tasty) and shared the crab grilled cheese which was so perfectly made with a delicious tomato jam. The house salad was also very tasty and as a whole it was a great meal. My husband also had an old fashioned that he says was very good. I had tea - from a very small selection of herbal teas but what can one expect from a bar and grill? Overall I'd definitely stop here again and would go out of my way for it! read more
