And indeed. Delicious, unique beautiful creations in every glass. I also left having enhanced my liquor IQ despite killing a few brain cells :-). What took me pleasantly by surprise was the food. Holly Crap it was incredible. I had a burger that tasted as if it was homemade. Such fresh ingredients, all prepared with level of skill I would expect in a fine dining establishment. We made a reservation a few weeks ago and when we arrived we got seated right away. Our server was really friendly and polite. She provided wonderful service during our visit. Our issues definitely weren't with their service, but it was their food. We started our order with 2 cinnamon buns, and they were really good! They're a heavier dough, but they were delicious and a must try when you go there. For our entrees, we had 2 Classic Eggs Benedict, Huevos Rancheros Benedict, Harvest Omelette and a Harvest Skillet. Our meals came out within 10-15 mins of ordering. The one thing we could all say is that the flavors of our meals were great. Very flavorful, seasoned well, and good sized portions. The problem was in the temperature for all of our meals. At first, all three of us that had eggs benny, our eggs were cold. Not luke warm, cold. We told our server, they refired 3 new plates, and when the new dishes came out it was the same thing. At that point, a couple of us changed our dishes to the Coffee Garden waffle and the biscuits and bacon. The 3rd person wanted to try the eggs benny again. The Manager came out and let us know that the hollandaise sauce is made from scratch, which is great to hear! That doesn't happen often. When the waffles came out, they were crispy, tasted great, but again, they were cold. I ate them because at that point, I realized it wasn't going to get any better. Our guest that had the biscuits and gravy enjoyed them, but the bacon wasn't hot either. The 3rd time for the classic eggs benny, the hollandaise was brought out on the side and the egg was hot, but the sauce was ice cold. Not kind of warm, but refrigerated cold. "Real" hollandaise won't be piping hot, but it shouldn't be cold either. After chatting during our meals, the other 2 guests with the omelette and the skillet, their meals were just luke warm as well, they weren't hot. So while the flavors were all good, the food temperatures of our breakfast was not good which was offputting. For this reason, we definitely won't be back.

It started with the curdled cream in our coffee but of course that can be forgiven as it happens for sure. The issue was how it was handled. Started with a look at the coffee and a "wow, you're not having much luck today" as a response from our waitress... followed by... nothing!! No removal of the coffee, no replacement of the coffee, no acknowledgement or removal of the coffee from the bill! Now our server was friendly enough and I don't put this all on her - this is poor management and subpar training. A simple bit of education could have turned our experience around easily and avoided our comment. Get it together and help your staff!! We saw you in there doing basically nothing - brutal. You hear the industry complain about all the external factors that are hurting the industry but sometimes you have to look within.

We ordered the mussels as we enjoyed them previously as well as the house blend red wine. The wine was good but when it arrived we were sure it was under the half a litre that we had ordered as we only got one glass out of it. The mussels were good but as we were half way through , our entrees arrived. We were both shocked and told the server that we hadn't finished the mussels. She just stood there not knowing what to do, eventually she said " so should I take them back and re heat them?" We said yes as we want to finish our mussels but we don't want them reheated. She then gave me such a dirty look and went back to the kitchen. I told our server what happened . When the entrees came back it was obvious they had been placed under a heater as my basil was crisp and the sauce was not loose. The food tasted good but we were just so put out that we didn't enjoy it as we should. I will be calling to speak to the manager today as nobody bothered to come over and discuss the matter. It's expensive to eat out now so when we do we want to be able to relax and enjoy the food and have a good time but due to the lack of communication with the kitchen it wasn't as it should of been. My advice is to order your appetizer first then order your entree as they clearly can't manage it when given at the same time.
