Loved everything about this place. A friend and I did the Happy Hour seasonal fondue for two and boy, was it GOOD! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was glorious! It made for a pleasurable and delightful experience. It was expensive, but I felt it was worthwhile. Not something I plan on doing often, but nice to have tried it.

Love the setting. Hard to describe , but like a modern old world winery. Came for the seasonal fondue offered during Happy Hour. It was a delicious cheese fondue with meats, breads, veggies for dipping and some side accompaniments. Thought that was enough, but who can pass up chocolate fondue and dip fruit, homemade marshmallows and cake in it? We didn't. It was memorable. The server was helpful and knowledgeable about the cocktails and wines offered. Nice experience!

We love that Bormio is so close to our home and has such great food! We love trying a variety of dishes with a nice bottle of white wine. We have sat at a nice two top table and have eaten at the bar, we like the ambiance of the bar better. We have had great service from the bartenders!

Everything was perfect....and I have never said that. Such a great casual-chic European vibe, unhurried but attentive service in a "not too loud" space. The food surpassed our expectations. The bacon-potato app was Lick the plate clean good; salads were great; and each main better than the last. The pork chops and short ribs were melt-in-your mouth tender and the mushroom spatzle a revelation. Then the panna cotta was the perfect finale. These were some of the most flavorful notes of food we have eaten in a while, and that's saying something.

Met up with friends for dinner on a Saturday evening and the experience could not have been more wonderful! Finding the place was a bit of a challenge as it was my first time here and I didn't know this was located toward the back of the building. There are 3 restaurants in total occupying the general building area but you have to walk towards the back to see their sign and the entrance. Once I found it though, the place was lovely, our waitress was very friendly and had the right amount of attentiveness and left us alone while we chatted over drinks. They have some interesting cocktails but I had a pinot noir. Friends did order a variety of different cocktails which looked tantalizing. I started with the beet salad. It was delicious. I also got to share one of my friend's pretzel and quark dip which was great. I'm not huge on carby appetizer but a little went a long way for me. The dip was really good though. I ordered the fish for my entrée. Very good and well prepared but I wanted to save room for dessert so I decided to take half of my meal home. And yes, proceeded to ordering dessert. I had the cheesecake. Not a huge serving so it was perfect for my already full person. No one had to carry me out via a wheelbarrow fortunately! With that said, I really enjoyed my dining experience here. I'm glad I let myself be talked into driving to a town I once have only heard of to have an incredible meal with wonderful people.

Do you ever have those meals where the food is all so good that you can't pick your favorite dish? That is my experience at Bormio Their cocktails and mocktails are all delicious, the food is incredible, and the total vibe is perfect for every occasion!! Everything we ordered: MOUSSE: German alpine cheese, truffle crumb, vermouth, smoked trout roe SAUERBRATEN: beef short rib, polenta, creme fraiche, jus, dill ROTOLO PASTA: ricotta, mushroom, spring onion soubise, black garlic. TARTIFLETTE: potato, bacon, white wine, gherkin, taleggio cheese, ciabatta BORMIO SALAD: artisan lettuce, anchovy dressing, parmigiano reggiano, pistachio, breadcrumb, herbs SPINACH DUMPLING: spinach, bread crumb, gruyere, parmigiano reggiano, brown butter For my fellow allergy friends, the menu is clearly labeled and super allergy friendly! Reservations recommended. Lot parking.

Great service. Interesting wines by the glass on Wednesday and Thursday happy hour which you would not normally get except by the bottle. Ask about them! Food is delicious! You must try this!

I really enjoyed Bormio. It's a unique menu and a good happy hour spot. Loved: the sweet potato pasta was very unique - rolled up and stuffed sweet potato slices. Not what I expected, but really great. The spinach dumplings were also fantastic - super soft and light Liked: I wish they had more mocktails, especially spritzes since they have a large spritz option list for regular cocktails. Would also love to see a few options from upstairs as the menu is smaller

Such a cute date night restaurant. My husband and I came on a Saturday night and had a reservation. We got seated right away. To drink I ordered some mocktails throughout the night since I'm pregnant. My first one was the spiced caffe and it was very good and the second one was alpine air. Alpine air was my favorite because I liked the bit of tartness from the lime. My husband got an Italian beer and he really enjoyed it! To eat we started with the alpine dip, so good! The bread that came with it was perfect and I'm not kidding when I say I could have eaten the dip with a spoon. To eat I got the Pesce with the sauce on the side since it had trout roe and my husband got the Saucerbraten. The fish I got was delicious and the sauce was so rich and flavorful. My husband really enjoyed his as well. This place is super cute and intimate that we will be back!

Kind Midwestern hospitality, Swiss fondue carts coming out of the kitchen with a retro pots on little flames. Italian amaro and an extensive wine list by region. This is an escape in any season & a worthy one too.

Lovely spot! We stopped in for a quick drink on a weekend right before they closed and so happy we did. Love the ambiance of this cute bar! It's in the basement of Noto and they really gave this place its own personality. Awesome spot to get drinks. We tried their espresso martini and margarita and both were fantastic and I loved the presentation of both. They have a great bar menu! Highly recommend- we will be back to try the food.

DO NOT ORDER THIS DESSERT. IT TASTED AWFUL.

Avoid the BUCHTELN for dessert (yeast rolls). I was having a great dinner until I got their dessert. It was the worst dessert I have ever had at a restaurant in my entire life. It left a very unpleasant taste for my party, leaving us very disappointed when we left. Borimo, please work on your dessert options.

We had such a fun date night here on Valentine's Day! We came in for cocktails and some food, unsure if we wanted a full meal or just appetizers. The food was decent but not outstanding. The pretzel was tasty but overpriced, and the cheese wasn't anything special. I wasn't a fan of the spinach and cheese dumplings, though my date enjoyed them. I'd come back for the drinks, but be prepared to spend a bit. The service was great--bartenders took the time to explain the drinks, their origins, and chat with us a little. The ambiance was stylish, quiet, and perfect for a date.

This visit was very lackluster. Now on a positive note I was excited to see there is a second dining area open which makes it more spacious to move around. The patio is a nice size seating area as well. Ki was our server. She was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The ad on facebook stated this event was gonna start at 4p and run to 9pm. It was to have dj, giveaways, drink specials and photo apps. I didn't receive any of this. What we were told was the original $5 off on flights and $18 for flatbread and half a salad. My friend and I stayed to the 5p hr and still no menu changes or drink specials per the ad. The flight i ordered was refreshing, fruity and great sizing. The flatbread pepperoni and sausage pizza were just ok. I'm not sure when the party actually started but to not be prepared and prompt is a bad look in my opinion.

Though 10:15 wasn't our first choice, it was quieter than expected, but still abuzz when we arrived. The atmosphere was pleasant, once seated. We felt somewhat cordoned off from the bar, which was great because the hostess was quite loudly calling for the next party. The staff operated with an almost hive-mind efficiency. The top-notch service by Peighton never lagged! In addition, plates, glasses and straw wrappers were whisked away amazingly efficiently. The standout dish for me was the short ribs. The fat was rendered absolutely perfectly and the flavor was excellent. If I were being especially picky, I would have preferred the potatoes and vegetables plated more distinctly rather than plopped atop a large heap of potatoes and gravy. Other pics and reviews seem to indicate that the dish varies in presentation, which is surprising to me for a chain restaurant. There was a beautiful lemon note the veggies were singing that deserved to stand on its own a bit more, but nestled into potatoes and keeping its head above gravy, it got lost a bit. The (deconstructed) Candied Bacon BLT mom had was ok. Nothing to write home about. A few small things kept the experience from feeling truly elevated. Food was "auctioned off" at the table ("Who had the short ribs?!"), which interrupted the otherwise polished atmosphere. Dessert was disappointing. The crème brûlée tasted overdone - or burned somehow. Still, on one of the busiest dining days of the year, the overall experience was positive and I got to celebrate the day with my beautiful mom!

I had one of the most disappointing and frustrating dining experiences at Cooper's Hawk Winery &…read moreRestaurant on March 31, 2026, around 5:20 PM--and it honestly felt unacceptable. I sat at the bar for dinner and waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. What made it worse was that the bartender immediately acknowledged a white man standing right next to me (we had even been talking about seating together). He took his drink and food order while I was handed only a glass of water and then ignored while he continued serving others. Even after finally taking my drink and appetizer order, the service remained inconsistent and dismissive. The bartender served multiple other guests--including a couple seated next to me--getting them waters, wine, and food orders, while I was still waiting. My appetizer was eventually dropped off with no silverware or napkin, and I had to ask another bartender just to be able to eat. At that point, I was still waiting on a drink I had ordered 20 minutes earlier. Eventually, a female bartender stepped in and brought my drink, but the overall experience had already gone downhill. The original bartender gave a quick apology, but the damage was done. Later, when I returned with my girlfriend after i advised we were going to do our wine tasting for dinner, the experience somehow got worse. The same bartender (Jamie S) gave my white friend a menu, water, and service--but did not offer me the same until my friend had to point it out. We were then ignored again for about 10 minutes until my friend had to call someone over because we were ready to order. When my food arrived, it was completely unacceptable. The chicken burger was extremely thin--practically see-through--and the fries were cold. When I spoke to a manager, instead of taking accountability, he made excuses, saying it was a "life balance" burger (which I did NOT order), and then blamed the kitchen for only having smaller patties available, said they forgot to make the 8 ounce ones. None of that changes the fact that I did not receive what I ordered. Although they remade the food, the overall experience was already ruined and it was still not what i wanted. Throughout all of this, Jamie never came back to check on us or acknowledge the situation. What made this even more disappointing is that I am a wine club member and regularly visit the Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant location in Town and Country, where I am consistently treated with respect and great service. This experience in St. Peters was the complete opposite. I rarely leave reviews like this, but this experience felt not only poorly managed but also dismissive and uncomfortable. My friend even commented that I was not exaggerating about how I was being treated. I will never return to the St. Peters location and will continue to share this experience. This is not the level of service anyone should have to tolerate. I will continue to ride pass this location to go further to the Town and Country location.
