UNRELIABLE! For the 3rd time in 5 trips, Border Limo has dropped the ball. First it was showing up late, second it was showing up at my house to pick me up instead of Logan Airport (seriously?!). The last straw was when they called us 12 hours before we were to be picked up to be brought to the airport saying they wouldn't be able to pick us up. No effort to rectify anything, but they did offer to refund my money. Bought an Amazon Local for this company to pick us up at the airport and drive us to the North Shore. The driver (Border24) was late and seemed unconcerned with the fact that we had been waiting. His car was in pretty bad shape. The display panel had several check engine lights illuminated including low tire pressure. I expect a car service to have their cars in perfect working order. The driver didn't want to use GPS even though he didn't know where he was going and so he required us to give him turn by turn directions home. Most of the way home he complained that our town is outside of their service area and that the "idiots" at dispatch should never have accepted our reservation. He also asked us for directions on how to get to his next stop and seemed interested in narrating our trip back even though we clearly wanted to not talk. The car also smelled and he didn't have the air on. The worst part was when we arrived at our home late at night he didn't feel out tip was adequate and so he began to yell at the top of his lungs that we needed to tip 20% of the full value of drive (We tipped 15% of the promotional value due to his poor service). He then proceeded to yell that had he known what we were going to tip he would never have driven us and that we should NEVER use Border Limo again. He didn't need to convince us of that, there's no way we'd ever use these guys again. Oh for Amazon Local Border Limo charges $10 for road tolls, even though there were NO tolls between the airport and our town. Seriously unprofessional, not going to use them ever again. Update.... The company said they'd refund the $10 for the toll but ended up charging us an additional $25!!!! Had to call them to fix and dispute the charge. AVOID! read more

The driver was excellent - friendly and courteous. The car was a bit cramped, but that was due to the size we chose, nothing to do with them or their service. I'm leaving 1 star because I can't leave 0. My wife and I were coming back from Spain. About 14 hours before our flight was supposed to land at Logan, I got a text saying that the flight was going to be delayed 3 hours. Luckily, Border Limo had asked me for my flight number the week before "just in case the flight gets delayed". Seemed like they had their shit together. After a full day of traveling, we got back into Boston and couldn't find our driver. I called Border a few times until someone picked up (it was 10 min after hours), and asked about the car. "He's definitely there. I can see his car on the GPS. Black Ford Taurus. He'll be there in a minute." After 10 min of waiting at the meeting spot, nothing. I called back, again a few times, before someone picked up. I asked again about the driver. "I just talked to him. He came in when the flight was supposed to land, saw it was delayed, then went home. I guess he thought someone else would take care of it." When I asked what we were supposed to do, he said he had another driver there to pick up someone else. I should talk to him to see if it's ok if we ride with him. No thanks. We're not going to sit around and wait for these other people to get off of their international flight so we can ruin THEIR ride by forcing an awkward carpool situation. Thanks for lying to us and telling us our driver was in the lot, though. Won't be using these fuckers again. read more

Border Limo is a terrible organization. The drivers are reckless and drive too fast. One lady answering calls, I think her name is Vicky, was completely rude. They have had a number of vehicles repossessed recently. They have terrible credit standing, rely on GroupOn to pay them before they pay their employees. They treat their employees terribly, and are disrespectful. Including one time where sexual harrasment has been involved numerous times. I am surprised they are still in business. A few drivers smoke marijuana inside the cars and the owner does nothing about it. I would not recommend this service to anyone. They are liars and cheats, and do not respect their customers or themselves. read more

Please be forewarned, that this is not the best limousine company to hire. I returned from a long work trip and needed to quickly reserve a limousine for the wedding party for my brother's wedding. I called five companies in the area and the only company that had availability was Border Limousine. This should have raised a flag, but I was short on time, and decided to move forward with a reservation that consisted of a limousine to the wedding and a shuttle bus for the return trip. Four things stand out as to why you should avoid this company: 1. The limo was late. The company will say they were only 5-10 minutes late. However, we assumed the limo would be 10-15 minutes early, which is normal, so the 5-10 minutes late was really 15-25 minutes late. This added unnecessary stress before the wedding and prevented us from getting photos near the limo. The company will also say it was raining, they had to take it slow, and the limo needed to be cleaned prior to picking us up. Please realize that it has been a very rainy summer and it was quite obvious that it would be raining all day Saturday - this was not an unknown and they should have planned better. 2. After the wedding, the shuttle bus driver refused to move for the bride and groom's limo. This was very disrespectful and could have been easily avoided by moving the shuttle bus. The company told me that they spoke to the shuttle bus driver and that the driver said there was no request for the limo to move. It seems to me that this would be an obvious response from the driver or he would possibly lose his job if he admitted to not moving for the bride and groom's limo. In addition, the shuttle bus driver seemed young and appeared nervous behind the wheel while he was driving us home, but apparently he has been with the company for 15 years. 3. I feel the company double charged me for gratuity. The spokesperson said gratuity was included in all wedding packages. However, on the day of the wedding, I could not remember if gratuity was included. Having spent 10+ years in customer service and knowing the importance of tips, I checked my email confirmation which stated: "*All quotes and rates Do Not include gratuity for the chauffeur. If no gratuity is specified or presented to the chauffeur, a standard 20% gratuity will be added to the Total Due after the reservation is complete." Needless to say, that we gave the drivers cash tips, only to find out later that is was really included and again, I feel like we were double charged. Why would our email confirmation not state: "gratuity has already been included." 4. Fourth, and possibly most important, was the rude and confusing customer service. I tried talking to the wedding specialist Angela, who said she was a manager, but then seemed to not be a manager, because she couldn't address my concerns. Angela said she would email or call me, but nothing. I called back several times and then spoke with Jeremy, who was said to be the owner, but is really the director. Jeremy was to call me back or email me, but again nothing. Finally, Jeremy seemed to be satisfied with their decision to accept the shuttle bus driver's word, to be okay with being late, and refused to reimburse me a portion of the double gratuity. All this said, there are plenty of other limo companies in the greater Boston and greater Nashua area and I hope you do not make the same mistake as we did. Thank you. read more

This is the third time I've had a driver be rude to me. I've used this company for years so I keep giving them another chance, and you'd think I'd learn. Sometimes they drive like maniacs, and sometimes they are really rude, don't pick you up in time, and one threatened to charge me more it was 10 after my pickup time because he never called to tell me that he was there (which they have ALWAYS done in the past.). Some are late to the airport to pick you up, and even though I have used their service for years they seemed not to care when I called and told them. For the $160 roundtrip and the $35 the service insists you tip (even when the driver is rude) it's not worth the hassle. (They'll even charge your card ahead of time) All this rudeness has only happened in the last year. Say goodbye to a customer. read more

I found them via Groupon and used them for a round trip from NH to Logan. The inbound driver was very pleasant, but made me nervous. He had a GPS that was not mounted to his window so he had to keep looking down at it. Twice we nearly got in to an accident. The outbound driver was late picking us up. I didn't mind that so much since I know Boston traffic and apparently his earlier pickup was late getting in. What bothered me was that we never got a phone call saying that he would be late. After waiting outside for 10 minutes, I called the main office. Since it was after hours, I had to leave a message and wait for a call back. The driver did call back and said he would be another 10 minutes :( There were 3 in our group so they sent a town car. That was fine, but both drivers seemed to have a problem getting 3 medium size suitcases in to the truck. It took almost 5 minutes for our outbound driver to get them in. Very annoying since we had already waited 20 minutes. The outbound driver also wouldn't let one of the passengers sit in the front seat. Apparently it was taken up by his briefcase. read more

I have used many limousine services over the years and can say that the experience with Border was as good as any. We purchased round trip transportation to Logan via a Groupon offer. The vehicles were clean, and the drivers were on time and courteous. Communication was excellent and stress free. Up-front, via email, Border made it very clear how the process works and what is included in the pricing ($10 for tolls/fees, and discretionary tip - normally 15-20%). A day before our departure and arrival, Border called to confirm all logistics. When we landed at Logan, the driver texted me and let me know that he was at the airport and exactly where to find his car. I heard about Border Limo on Groupon and took advantage of their special offer for Groupon members. I hired them to take a friend to Logan from Metro West and the service was perfect. I will definitely use them again for future airport transport needs. What I liked most was the excellent communication and positive attitude by their office people. When I requested, pretty much the day before, to move up our pick-up time due to weather, not only was Border very understanding, the dispatcher told me that she'd handle it with the driver herself to make sure that he got here early. True to their word, the driver (very professional and courteous) was here right on time. They also checked in pro-actively the day before to reconfirm with me, not the other way around. Was able to take advantage of the Groupon Coupon so this was a real bargain. Used Border Limo for a family of 6 adults roundtrip to Logan. When I booked I got a "live" person on the phone, not the usual 10 prompts to speak with someone. Very friendly and was able to answer all my questions/concerns. The driver showed up 15 minutes before our departure time to load all our luggage into the van. Van was clean and new, the return van appeared to be an older van. A quick hours drive from Merrimak, NH to Logan. When we returned, driver was there waiting (with our name sign) and I was glad to see he was the same driver so he was easy to find from the sea of limo drivers in the Logan Limo Lot. I can't stand that I have to give any stars to this company. I am writing this in the middle of the night while waiting for my husband to take an hour-long taxi ride at 2:30 am because BORDER LIMOUSINE DID NOT PICK HIM UP. After more than 14 hours of travel my husband arrived at Logan in the wee hours of the morning. Border Limousine was not there to pick him up for his reservation. Because I had made the reservation, he called me in the middle of the night. The confirmation email had the correct time listed, but the person had written the wrong flight number in it. There is no information in the confirmation email about what to do if they don't show up to pick you up. There is no designated phone number if you should have any issue. The outgoing phone message when you call does not say what to do if it is after hours, and it lets you wait on hold forever. Frustrated, we tried to leave a message. Only then do you get anything about after hours. The sleepy sounding person who answered the phone was RUDE and said that a driver was scheduled to arrive five hours late (the time of the incorrect flight). My husband (weary from returning from the unexpected death of his father) had to arrange transportation at 2:30 am from Logan to NH. He is paying a small fortune to Uber home. I am wide awake. My husband and I had a trip to South Africa planned earlier this year. We made arrangements well in advance for transportation to the airport by Border Limousine. We received a call from Border the day before the pick up to confirm. The morning of the trip, 15 minutes after the scheduled pick up, we received a call telling us that no driver was available to take us to the airport. No apologies were given. We had a flight in 3 hours from the call and we are an hour away from the airport and we had no ride. We had to drive ourselves and park in the airport lot. It was a two week trip and it cost us over $400 to get out of the airport parking garage when we returned. Totally unacceptable and inexcusable. They obviously DO NOT value customer service. Absolutely the worse car service I have ever used ! They made me miss my flight at Logan twice ! I never received a credit and had my credit card double billed for the service. They use cars that are not even road worthy and smell like smoke and exhaust fumes. The driver even said the cars they use are junk and he hates driving them. He said they all have over 350,000 miles on them ! The owner Brian Fernald is the biggest loser I have ever delt with and I was basically told I was an a-hole and to go f- myself and use someone else if I wasnt happy. The driver called the first time to say he was running a few minutes late, but then he showed up on time anyway. Picking us up at the airport the driver called to locate us. Then on the second trip our driver arrived at our house 20 minutes early which was nice! And the driver on the way home called us to locate us at the airport. I booked a trip with Border Limosine Service one month in advance for a ride from southern NH to Logan Airport. After receiving a confirmation call for my pick-up 24 hours before travel, I was certain of my reservation. Not only did my driver not arrive at my scheduled pick up time, there was no answer at dispatch to alert them that no one had showed up for my 5:00 AM ride to Boston. They made no attempt to get in touch with me after the multiple messages I left on their voicemail at 5:00 in the morning. I had to call Border later that day to request a refund. Their response was that they could not get in touch with their driver and they were sorry. They offered me a "free" one way ride for a future trip. Needless to say, I will not take advantage of their offer. I am disgusted with their poor customer service and lackadaisical attitude toward leaving me stranded without a ride to Logan. EXCELLENT service! I planned a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents in MA while living out of state. I hunted high and low for a beautiful limo to hire for a reasonable price and I am so glad that I chose Border Limousine. The white stretch limo is absolutely gorgeous. The driver Mark was wonderful - great personality and professional at every turn. He even offered to take pictures for us when we reached our destination.
