I needed a ride home from the airport on very short notice. I texted Rich, and without hesitation, he immediately said no problem! When I asked him if I needed to call the office or fill out the online form, he assured me he would do it all, and he did! I hadn't even gotten off the plane before Christine, one of Brookside's drivers had contacted me to let me know she was there waiting. So nice to get out of the airport so late at night, and know that your ride is waiting, the car warm and clean! Christine is a pleasure and I enjoyed our chat on the ride. Brookside, you've done it again! You are always available, always dependable, and always a pleasure to use! Thanks again! read more

Warning!!!‼ they are out of business!!!! I booked a ride to and from Logan, in April 21,2025. NO ONE told me. I have to get a ride to Logan for Wednesday! If I hadn't called and texted my previous driver I would've been sitting waiting for someone to pick me up that wouldn't be coming! They closed in June. The owner is having serious health problems, however his daughter is in charge of booking and contacting the client. I am trying to get my money back, find a ride. It's sad really because prior to this I always had gotten good service. read more

It's been years since I've been so impressed with a business that I've taken the time to write a review, but I am delighted to recommend Aisling Car Service. We were looking to transport two parents with and infant and toddler from and to Logan, and they had lots of questions. Kayla patiently answered all immediately via email, and then connected us to Rich, the owner, when she thought he could provide more information. We had an excellent experience. Rich picked up the family at Logan, and because it was dinner time he brought along a pizza (greatly appreciated, especially by the toddler). He arrived 25 minutes early for the return trip. He is personable and patient. And the fare was very reasonable--I believe he offers the best value of any service in the area. We'll definitely use Aisling in the future, and recommend them enthusiastically to others. read more

It was a please using Aisling Car Service to/from Logan. Great communication with them, especially on the way back where we were dealing with delay's. When we got in the car on the way back I noticed a pizza box on the back seat and thought the driver got himself a pizza while he waited for us. However he got the pizza for my 3 kids, since it was a long day of travel and picked us up around dinner time knowing they were probably hungry. My kids were loving eating pizza in the car on the way home. They felt like they were in Home Alone. read more

Aisling Car Service was awesome! We were looking for a local service. We like to use local as much as possible (as well as what fits our wallet). Let me tell you, they were great! Our driver was early, packed our luggage and our trip into Boston was so smooth. Just what you would expect at 4:30 am. When we were picked up, our driver was also awesome, packed our luggage and our return trip was soooo smooth, even though the traffic was not. I would recommend them! read more

But we have also used it for city appointments in Boston. Rich (the owner) is very personable, and you feel like your riding with a friend to and from where ever your destination may be. Also, I'm always able to get in touch with Kayla at the office VIA email to make any last minute changes to timing of our ride, ect. great service. easy to work with When we had a change of plans. Will de use this service in the future.

Aisling has excellent customer service. Very easy to schedule a ride, either online or by phone. We rode from Merrimack to the cruise terminal in Boston. Our driver, Rich, even arrived early. He was super friendly, and we had a great ride to the terminal. When our cruise returned, Rich was again early, which enabled us to get out of there before the crowds got too busy. Compared to competitors, Aisling's cost was super competitive. With all of the hoops we had to jump through for the cruise, it was nice to not have to worry at all about our transportation. Great experience. Aisling will absolutely be our g0-to car service in the future. Andy L. read more

My family and I love Brookside Transportation. Rich and his team are thorough professionals and always go the extra mile to accommodate us. I also use Brookside for work transportation needs, and they are always on time no matter how early I leave for the airport or if my flights are delayed. On a personal level, Rich is one of the kindest people I've met. On several occasions, he's helped me out on last second transportation needs. He is a warm and good hearted person, and I'm grateful that I've gotten to know him on our long car rides over the past several years. This is the first review I've posted on Yelp, and it's definitely long overdue because Brookside Transportation is a wonderful service. I recommend them without hesitation. read more

In a word, my overall experience With Aisling was 'outstanding'! I needed a ride to Logan for an early-AM business flight, so my pickup time was Tuesday @ 3 AM (ugh!). I was anxious to begin with because I _hate_ flying, but having Rich pick me up on time, and provide friendly (and humorous) conversation on the ride to Logan, helped put my mind at ease and made my trip much more pleasant! The ride home was equally perfect. Kayla picked me up at Logan the following Sunday AM (waiting for me, right on time!) , after my exhausting 5+ hour red-eye flight from CA, and again, the service was exemplary. I still hate flying, and airports, but if I have to do it again, I will use Aisling to get me there and back! I cannot praise or recommend them highly enough! read more

Such a great experience with Rich and Brookside. Rich showed up on time to pick us up at Logan and even had a fresh hot pizza in the car for us for the ride home. We are traveling back to Florida in 2 weeks and wee will be using Brookside both ways again! Well done Rich & team!!! read more

What fantastic customer service! Only a few hours after submitting my ride request, my reservation was confirmed. We've used Brookside Transportation several times over recent years. The owner, Rich, has a strong work ethic and takes great pride in his business and service. Our driver on this most recent trip, Paul, was very prompt, waiting for us at Logan when we arrived, and communicating with us as soon as I turned on my phone when exiting the plane. The drivers are always pleasant and the service is top notch. We'll definitely be using Brookside again, and again. read more

Brookside is simply the best. Rich loves his customers and always makes sure they get to where they need to go. But beyond that Rich goes so far above and beyond what is required. Just yesterday my flight was canceled and I needed to go home. Rich dropped everything came to the airport, brought me a pizza and then helped me figure out how to get back to the airport the next day. He's a gentleman. He's professional and is cherished across Andover and North Andover. I feel so lucky I found Brookside and would highly recommend them for your transportation needs. read more

A late change in plans not 24 hours before my flight forced me to seek transportation from MHT to home at 1:00am. I had used another service in the past, so I felt comfortable using their on-line reservation tool. I entered my flight information, provided my credit card number, and then received an email stating that they had received my request. At 1:00pm on the day of my flight (9 hours before departure), I received an email stating that my reservation had been canceled. I called to find out what happened and was told that maybe next time "I shouldn't make an on-line reservation during NH vacation week." I started going through my mental list of who could help me with a ride. I remembered that Rich an Brookside were mentioned on the Merrimack Forum. I called and to leave a message; needless to say, I wasn't hopeful. In less than 5 minutes, Rich called me back and confirmed that he would be at MHT to pick me up at 1:00am. What a relief. I arrived in a zombie-like state and sure enough, when I turned my phone on, there was a text from Rich telling me that he was in the cell-phone lot waiting. The fare was more than reasonable given the hour of the night; this combined with the level professionalism will ensure that I will be using Brookside Transportation in the future. Thank you! read more

Let me tell you about Brookside Transportation. They are a rare gem in this day and age. They're professional, prompt, friendly and they ALWAYS put their clients first. I had a long week of extensive and exhausting travel. I can tell you it felt amazing to receive a text message from Christine once I touched down at BOS telling me she was ready and waiting to take me home. The vehicle was immaculate and the conversation was great! They take pride in their work and it shows! If you're shopping around for a service you can stop now. Class act. Prompt, clean, safe driver and genial host. We'll definitely go with Rich again for future rides to Logan and elsewhere. Rich & his crew at Brookside are fantastic. Prompt, courteous and professional; perfect for business travel or family vacations. Incredibly dependable, awesome when it comes to communication and status updates. They've been right on time--with bells on--for pre-dawn pickups at 3 or 4am, more than once for us. When picking our family up at dinner time, as we returned from vacation? Rich had refreshments, snacks and even a pizza from Santarpio's in East Boston waiting for us. Nicest drivers you can imagine, great rates and spotless rides! read more

I was in Burlington, MA for business last month and wanted to see Boston in between my hectic meeting schedule. Luckily, a friend of mine was able to get me in touch with Rich from Brookside Transportation. Making arrangements with Rich was simple. He was flexible and accommodated a 4pm pick up at my hotel in Burlington. After 5 minutes with Rich, we were instant friends. To describe Rich in a few words, he's a true Southie, full of energy and love for his city. As we headed to South Boston, Rich gave me a brief history lesson of Boston and, of course, Whitey Bulger. Amazed by his knowledge, we started a list of places I wanted to swing by as well as places he wanted to take me to which lead us to Castle Island. Obviously I wasn't ready for the chilly wind or I would have admired the planes descending above my head longer. To warm me up, we then headed to PS Gourmet. Though, I passed on their famous buckets, I did have one of their specials which was amazing. Here is where I learned double parking and "parking chairs" is as much a part of Southie's culture as Castle Island and the Saint Patrick's Day Parade. As we headed to Fenway Park, Rich took me through the South End, Copley Square and down Newbury Street. I snapped away taking pictures of the many Churches, homes and buildings I admired. Other great Boston sights Rich showed me included (but not limited to) the Capitol building, the Old City Hall and Faneuil Hall Marketplace. He made suggestions of places I should explore on my own if I had time or even on my next visit. Our final stop was the North End for cannolis at Mike's Pastry. What a great way to end our mini tour. Overall, my experience with Brookside Transportation was amazing. Whether its for a pick up to/from the airport or for another guided mini tour, if I am ever in the Boston area again I will definitely give Rich a call. read more

I have never met a person who runs a limo / cab/ any kind of transportation who is as courteous, punctual and goes out of his way to make sure his customers are well taken care of. Richard Jackaus is absolutely the best at what his does, and as long as I have to travel and need a ride, I call no one but Brookside Transportation for ALL my travel needs. If you are visiting Boston or are from the area and need a ride anywhere around a 100 mile radius of Boston, do not hesitate to call Richard. read more

After trying a few different transportation companies in the area, I'm so happy that I've found Rich. Rich went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my experience. He brought me an umbrella so I wouldn't get wet on the walk to the car and he had hot chocolate and a granola bar waiting for me after an early morning flight. It's clear that Rich loves what he does and truly cares about his clients. Rich was on-time, courteous and is one of the most genuine people i've ever meant.
