We called Black Tie the night before arrival and they were wonderful. The receptionist made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Their communication was first rate! From immediate confirmation emails to text messages from the driver- you were always kept informed and updated. We were picked up in a Cadillac SUV that was impeccably clean. The driver, Kevin, arrived early, gave us specific directions where to find him. He was in a suit and held an electronic sign with our name on it so he was easy to identify. I told them I called earlier and made my plans around them. I also explained I was now stranded. "The day shift should not have told you that", is what I was told. I explained that regardless both the day shift and the night shift were in fact the same company and that they were stranding me with no way to get home. Long story short, I pressed the Uber button on my phone and 5 minutes later I was on my way home for half the money I was quoted by Family Taxi.
