I said omg thank you-yes plz! (knowing i was rushing cuz the time & in fear of not being able to get my medication if I didn't make it in time when they lock the doors)but THANK GOD, I just so happened 2 get the driver Russ-whom from our convo in the short car ride, I could tell from my gut that he was a very nice, kind, respectful & polite gentleman & VERY professional! He got me there @ 11:56!!!!!! I cannot thank him & Haverhill Taxi enough because some people don't understand what "withdrawal" is from a opiate drug, nor do many care to want2know cuz they just see ppl like me & immediately label me as a "junkie", but Russ-being a man that has never ever touched drugs but smoked marijuana a few times in the early 1970's & so a man who educated himself on addiction & didn't label me as just a "junkie" when he very easily could have, but instead he chose to treat me as a person. A Human being. Somebody daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, friend + SO MUCH MORE! & I CANNOT thank him enough!!! I would FOR SURE recommend this business to ANYONE in need, if you would like to get to your destination, fast & more importantly SAFELY, I highly recommend Russ & the staff/owners of Haverhill Taxi! I got: busy signals, fast busy signals, messages that the phone had gone out of service and there was no new number, and people who couldn't speak English. Diamond has a smaller fleet of taxis than most taxi companies in the Lawrence Methuen Andover area but they have two distinct advantages: 1. They are prompt. If you arrange for a pickup at a particular time on a particular day they are there within 5 minutes. 2. They speak English! The dispatcher is a pleasure to talk to in a town riddled with companies that can barely understand a word I say. The drivers are all multi-lingual and very accommodating. One of them let me run into a stop-n-shop to pick up some gum while he was collecting another passenger. Older passengers are courteously helped into and out of the cars and given a comfortable seat. Their packages are carried to the the door. This is very nice service. I have used Diamond Taxi service several times and will not switch to another. I have never found their smaller fleet to be an inconvenience me. The service is very prompt, even when I am some distance away. I strongly recommend them as an alternative to the larger companies who sometimes don't answer their phones or even have phones at the published phone numbers. Tip: Try to bring cash with you, if possible. There is a higher fee for doing business with plastic, thanks to the costs which debit and credit processing companies impose upon small businesses. The driver was courteous enough to explain this fee system and since I had some cash, I paid with that instead.

I'm so sad to have to give this negative review. This company was my go-to for many years and it…read moreused to be always flawless and reliable, plus pleasant. Today, I've had a very disturbing experience. Briefly: luggage carousel took a long time to get rolling (about 40 minutes). I called the dispatch to alert them so that they'd know A) I'm not ghosting and B) probably don't want to rush to the pickup zone if they have a better place to wait. 30min into my wait (25min after my courtesy call), the boss from headquarters calls me and demands that I tip the driver extra because they don't pay him to wait more than 30min. And he wasn't nice about it. Thing is, I'd already tipped nicely on the pre-pay (which the rude caller knew), and given the hard time we were all having with this delay and a late hour, I was planning to give a little cash too. This call changed my experience, changed my feeling about tipping the extra (I couldn't feel anything but resentment), and also admittedly reduced the amount of that extra cash when I did cough it up. Driver also made it clear that he was not happy to be here, and that I was obviously a tremendous inconvenience. For the price I paid, I would have appreciated a bit more commiserating attitude versus a misdirected anger attitude. Waiting isn't super fun for anyone, but at least he was sitting in a warm car and had all of his belongings. Please anyone who has a better airport limo company in this area feel free to DM me.

In that case, I'd recommend they don't…read moreadvertise themselves as such, as I was in need of a cab and they came up first as a google sponsored result in Newburyport. When I called I notified the dispatcher that I needed a pick up as soon as possible. He told me it would be 10 minutes . I said I needed to catch a flight and couldn't miss the train, but he told me not to worry. 10 minutes later, there was no one there yet. So I called just to get an update. I was again assured that it would be a few moments and he was in touch with the driver - I believed him, again missing another opportunity to call a new cab. 25 minutes after placing the call, the cab finally shows up (and yes, it was a cute black London cab, with a diamond jubilee flag - but I ordered a cab for functional reasons, not for aesthetics) and we pull up at the train station just in time to see it pulling away. I was annoyed - for good reason. And I was honest about that fact and said I would have appreciated a realistic response to the amount of time it would take after calling (there was no traffic excuse). The driver clearly needs some customer service lessons, because her response was that "This ain't New York" and that I was the "first jerk" she'd ever had ride in her cab. It's a good thing the next train doesn't leave for 2 hours, since I'll need the time to rebook my flight.

First time, December 2014: The experience was decent. Calling to reserve was easy and the driver showed up right on time and even though the minivan smelled of stale food and slight cigarette smoke, $85 for getting to the airport when I couldn't take the train wasn't bad. (3.5 stars - average service) Second time, March 12, 2015: Reserved the cab two days ahead for a 5am pick-up to the airport. Driver was on-time and all was good...until we got near Boston and she started making wrong turns because she "has only driven to the airport like twice" and "she gets anxious when she doesn't know the route." I identify with anxiety and not being familiar with a location. Don't take the job if you don't know the route. The trip should have taken 45 minutes and took 30 minutes extra. Silver lining(?), I got an unanticipated trip around parts of North End and Mass General. Nice girl; didn't deserve a tip. (2.5 stars - below average service) Third time, March 23, 2015: I reserved the cab morning of with the expectation that as long as I didn't get the girl driver, it'd be okay. I was to meet them at the Logan Hilton since they aren't allowed at the airport as a non-medallion....why can't you just pick me up in passenger area? I complied because I don't know many cab services and didn't want to pay $124+ for a "private car". Well, that ended up happening because although we agreed that since my flight got in at 7:30pm and they would pick me up at 8:15pm at the Hilton, the cab never showed. I called four times between 8:20 and 8:40pm. My saving grace this night was the Hilton concierge who helped me get a private car service a bit after 9pm. (0 stars - wtf) A guy from Lowell Cab returned my call at 10pm leaving a message that he doesn't know what happened but his guy was there at 5:15pm to pick me up and I never showed even though he stayed until 6pm. Um...how does one get 8:15pm mixed up with 5:15pm even after they repeat the time to you? Also, why did I not have any missed calls from them after my flight got in at 7:30pm? He only cared to call me back at 10pm? Please don't insult my intelligence for your mistake. Never again.
