After dining here many times and being delighted with the food, our last experience was a disappointment. At first bite, we both noticed the tomato sauce was way too salty. The chicken was rubbery to the point where it was difficult to cut. We asked for "light on the sauce" but the pasta came in what looked like a bowl of tomato sauce soup. But experience was nice, server was friendly and our table spot was nice. Foods portions was huge. We enjoyed the foods, something that filled our tummy with Italian foods. I also feel for getting seafoods out here is something a bit difficult especially when I was aiming for freshness, by far they are pretty amazing. I won't complain much. We Ordered: Appetizer *Fried Calamari: it was tasty also batter easy. But dip sauce was not that great a bit like a hot sauce dip to me. Salad *Mamas Favorite: This was also my favorite, it's a salad at the same time it's something refreshing and light to have while being in a new town for the week. It will boost up our energy and healthy. Their salad was made just right and perfect amount of dressing to it. Also the mushroom was a perfect taste to it. Entrees: Linguini Carbonara: this was my order, I feel the noodle was kinda over cooked I like it more chewy to the noodles. But the flavors was there. Well I haven't been here in years but I wanted to try it under new ownership, the food was really good but the service was horrible! U could tell our server Cathy either was really bad at we job or just didn't want to be there, she never made eye contact, forgot my moms soup n didn't even apologize for it, never brought out a few little things we asked for from the get go (sauce on side, mayo and ketchup) and again wasn't even apologetic about it, never checked on us til we were done, never refilled my moms soda, which was put on the side of the table (a clear sign to a server she needed a refill) and then our bill was $30 and some change, we gave her a $50 with the exact change n asked for change back n she gave back a $20! First of all after the shit service u gave did u think u even deserved a 20% tip? Umm no, then to hand back a 20 not broken down was even worse, so we left $5 n she's lucky she even got that! I have been a server and bartender for 25 years n this was definitely one of the worst services I've ever experienced n I was appalled at the lack of not being apologetic for things that she did wrong, I ALWAYS apologize PROFUSELY when I mess up so that was ridic to say the least! I have been to Booty's Place multiple times on business travel, the food is excellent!

I hate to do this, I really do. I want to love this place, you have no idea how much we want a good Italian restaurant in our area, but alas we dont. I hadn't been back since the remodel, idk 3-4 years ago. I was hoping it was a more extensive remodel that what took place, they still have the old 80s stained lamps and windows, the furniture seems newer? Not sure, but they did put new carpeting. Service is always good, I have no complaints about that, always nice and courteous. I have to say not the great ambiance as they where vacuuming loudly. Granted we showed up at 9:15pm and they close at 10pm, but still we left at 10 o'clock they could've waited. I ordered the little neck clams in butter and garlic sauce. They came out fairly quick, but as soon as they set them down I could smell the garlic, and not in a good way, I love garlic, I usually over garlic when cooking so that wasnt the problem, it was because it was jarred garlic. It's one of my pet peeves, I absolutely hate it, it does not taste like fresh garlic and it always have a very distinctive odor. But I have to say the clams were good, not fantastic, but good. No bread was offered or brought, which to me is crazy but not unheard of. Next was the entree, I ordered the special shrimp scampi (before I knew about the garlic situation) with vegetables, green beans, snap peas, pimento peppers, mushrooms and broccoli. The garlic again made the odor of the dish not very appealing but again I was surprised the flavor was very good, the shrimp was cooked perfect and also the veggies, could've had more broccoli but whatever. The main problem with this dish was that the snap peas were not prepared properly, the tough in edible membranes were not removed making it very hard to eat, having to pull the membranes myself. When I made my claim the waitress told me that's the way they are prepared. No, it's not, maybe in your restaurant. Please take a minute and google how to prepare snap peas. This, and this reason alone is why this will be my last review of this restaurant. Sadly I wont be visiting anymore. Theres no excuse to not know how to prepare a vegetable you're serving the customer. read more

After a friend posted a photo of pizza from Booty's Place, we were excited about returning to this establishment. It's been years since we've been here, and it was a worthwhile visit! Situated in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. The area appears relatively safe, with a Thomas's grocery store (Food Lion affiliated, and some great bargains), Hallmark store (with unique gift items), and a fun pet star (reasonable prices and some exotic pets--loved the snakes and tortoise). My youngest sister and I ate lunch here. Waitress Gigi sat us on the main level, at a small, two-person table underneath a Tiffany style lamp (as is under the other small tables). There is an Express Lunch menu that includes salads and wraps/sandwiches, each for $6.95. We selected off the regular menu instead, ordering a personal size Grandma's Pizza ($8.95) and a Caesar salad (cost $8.95). The pizza was tasty, with plenty of tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and Italian spices; we found delicious little pieces of garlic in the pizza! The Caesar salad was perfectly crisp, with greens, mixed bread croutons, and large slivers of parmesan cheese. The Caesar dressing was tasty. We shared a plate of Tiramisu--scrumptious, melt-in-your mouth dessert! My sister drank ice water, and I had an unsweetened iced tea. Food was plentiful, and we left Booty's completely satisfied. In fact, we had plenty of pizza and salad to share with our parents, and they enjoyed the meal, too. Gigi provided a container of Caesar salad with our take-home container. She was attentive, friendly, and professional. Gigi checked on us throughout our meal without being pesky; we liked her service very much and would ask for her in the future. Our cost prior to tip was just over $27, and to some this may seem a little pricy for lunch but you get good quality and plenty to take home! On a side note, you may order pizza by the slice at a display window, and such pizza is $1.00 off each slice after 8 PM. It may be a bargain after 8 PM, but I will share a personal Grandma's pizza again, plenty for two when eaten with a shared salad. The dessert case was on the left side of the entrance, so we couldn't help but eye it lovingly and dream about our next dessert. Thank you for a terrific meal. We will return! read more

Kind of a funny place. Located in a strip mall, there's a smallish seating area with a bar downstairs, and quite a large seating area upstairs. Much of the seating downstairs is in an elongated area and it almost feels like a diner. The food was pretty good, better than I expected when I sat down. Booty's Restaurant in Hazleton is the biggest joke I've ever dealt with. I placed an order at 1pm on their website today for pick-up at 5:15. I got a call at about 3:30 informing me that my order wasn't picked up yet. When I told the lady on the phone that my order was to be picked up at 5:15, she said that information was nowhere on the order but she'd have the food remade for 5:15. My mom gets here with $75+ of ice cold food at 5:30. I call to speak to the manager, she's rude and yelling at me because it isn't their fault their website messed up the order. read more

I was having trouble finding a place to eat & finally settled upon Booty's. We ordered take out -- Penne alla Vodka & the eggplant rollatini. Each entree came with a salad or soup & 2 garlic knots. Portions were generous. I could probably have used my penne alla vodka for 2 meals. Salad was just regular lettuce, tomato, & onion -- nothing amazing. My Italian dressing didn't add any taste. It just looked like an oily salad with no taste. Pretty disappointing salad. Garlic knots, yum yum, but you can't really go wrong with dough & garlic. Penne alla vodka was pretty good -- nice taste to it. I would def order it again. The eggplant was also decent & it came with pasta & marinara sauce. Booty's wasn't the most amazing but pretty average Italian food. The decor is interesting as well. It's in an odd, dinky shopping mall but Booty's is decorated to be some sort of odd stargazing lit restaurant. The ceiling is covered in little lights of stars. I felt like I stepped into an oddly overcompensating, out-of-date amusement park. Also, their service was okay. My husband, myself and child Tried to go here yesterday, unaware of the steps to get in. My husband is in motorized mobility scooter. We open the entrance door and you are greated by a little area with a banister enclosure and a step. We turned to leave and a customer who was leaving tells us of another entrance. We try that entrance, very narrow not easy to navigate for him. We make our way to the hostess who ignores our presence for a good 3 minutes. I look to see where they could posssibly seat us, and there were no other areas on what would be the ground floor except for near the bar for the 3 of us to sit. After about 2 more minutes of being completely ignored we left. If you have mobility issues I would highly suggest elsewhere as this place is not handicapped accessible or handicapped friendly. I would give one star for the service, but I gave 2 because the food was pretty good. I cannot give more stars because of how our experience was here. We were seated at 6:10PM and at 6:22 saw no server. My sister had gotten up from the table to ask a waitress if we could at least get some water and bread. That waitress took our order and had told us she was serving tables upstairs, still, very nice of her to come over to help. A couple of minutes go by and the bartender came over to serve our waters and bread. She told us our waitress should be with us shortly. No waitress comes by and finally at 6:38, the waitress who served all the tables surround us, who passed us multiple times, came over to take our order.
