There are 3 or 4 pool tables, a couple electronic dart boards and the new style, digital jukebox on the wall. I walked up to the bar and placed my drink order and snagged a menu. After studying the menu for a bit, I decided on the Super Nachos. After a few minutes, I get my nachos and they were epic! Both in amount and in flavor. The Super Nachos consists of: Tortilla chips Black olives Onions Tomatoes Jalapeño Ground Beef (or chicken) Nacho cheese Sour cream Salsa The toppings are placed on top of chips (as opposed to layered in between the chips), however the Nacho cheese is on top of, and inside, the mound of chips. I really do not like it when everything is just dumped on top of the chips and there is a pile of dry chips under the layer of toppings. I am very happy that is NOT the case with these chips. The bartender was friendly and would banter with the customers (I'm guessing they were regulars because she would address them by name and ask specific questions about their day and life). A waitress who was not even ours made it her mission to find a water bowl for the dogs. Our waitress was just so pleasant and kept checking in on us. We asked about dog friendly places for the dogs to get wet. She brought us back the other waitress that got us the water. She knew right where to take our dogs and should work for the visitors center with all her knowledge! And all with such a nice smile too. Food was good I had the club and my husband tried the smash burger on the recommendation from the waitress. This is a must try place!!

The one positive is that, unlike other very busy locations around Friday Harbor, they stayed open late and were able to seat us, though the reason for that was everything I've stated above, slower service, poor drinks, and just okay food. The lack of people frequenting the establishment should have been a red flag, but it was late and we were hungry. Needless to say, we did not return during our long weekend stay on the island and, unless they're the only folks open when you need a bite, I might suggest you look elsewhere.
