I bought a pair for travel last year, thinking I would just wear them on the flight (20-hour flight), but I ended up wearing them almost every day of the two-week trip. They are so comfortable and easy to wear, and they look nice, too. I mainly stopped in to see the new styles for slip-ins, because I still have my shoes from last year and they are still in good condition. (Actually, I have 6 or 7 pairs of Skechers, but only one is a slip-in.) Staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. Prices are reasonable. They don't have a large selection of active wear, unfortunately. But if it is shoes you are after, there are plenty. Be sure to walk to the back north corner of the store where they have the discount racks. I've found some great deals back there.

I don't think I've ever been to a shoe warehouse as organized as this. I've only been to the DSW in NYC and it was pretty hectic there because there was just so much traffic, so I loved how organized this place is. Do take advantage of the clearance section in the back if you have the feet for it! There were only maybe two or three pairs of size 5 shoes (and both, while cute, were still too big), but if you wear 6-10, you will probably be able to find a great deal or two back there.

Located at the Zinfandel Plaza and tucked in between Olson Dr/Folsom Blvd in the heart of Rancho Cordova, this particular Marshalls neighbors their main competitor, Ross as well as a Target store amongst many other retailers and eateries. As many of you know, Marshalls specializes in a variety of department store items; mens/womens/kids apparel, home furnishings, bath & body products, luggage, jewelry, purses, bedding, housewares, and quite a bit of food/coffee. I see them as a slightly more affordable option than their sister store TJ Maxx. If your focus is more towards items for the home (excluding clothing), HomeGoods has much of the same items (but in a much larger variety) while all being part of the same ownership. Out of the few times I have been here (which is mainly during the weekends), I've noticed quite an abundance of customers at any given time. However, their store isn't quite the cleanest as I've seen several articles of clothing on the floor, fitting rooms that look messy, and as much as this pains me to say this, lack of customer service. Retail brick-and-mortar stores like this don't staff a lot of employees which leads to more complaints about a business than actual compliments. Finally, for the majority of their merchandise being new "name-brand" items, there is only a small handful of brands I am familiar with; mostly Calvin Klein, Nike, Ralph Lauren, and Michael Kors. As of 2025, you can get a complete outfit for under $50 which is a nice shirt/sweater, pants/shorts, flip flops/shoes as well as a pack of tees and socks. Hung out for another 10 minutes. Still closed. (It's October 13th, "Columbus Day" and all the other stores in the shopping center are open.) They have some nice looking shoes in there. We walked in around 30 minutes to closing time, and there was only one other person in the store getting service. The store is well kept and I have always received good customer service when I have needed it (although not very often). My shopping needs are pretty straight forward so I know where to find the items I need pretty quickly. It usually saves me a trip to another location such as Roseville. The shopping value is great...same as other locations but just may not have the selection you would find at a larger store.
