Michelle was so thorough that I booked an appointment as soon as I could. Richard, installer, was amazing. He came in got his information, passed it on to Michelle and within a week we had an install date. Between the two of them they made this transition easy and seamless not to mention stunning. Thank you again.

Upon walking in I was greeted by Linda who asked me if there was anything she could help with. When I started talking about the issue with my over 20 year old propane stove I heard a voice from upstairs call down asking me to reiterate the question. A woman I now know is named Michelle informed me that she is a fireplace expert. And boy was she right. She quickly explained to me how my stove worked and showed me parts to compare to what mine had. She sent me home with some homework and her phone and email so I could send pictures of my unit. She walked me through trouble shooting the issue and helped me find a solution. She showed me how to use a wire to jump the unit and confirm that it would light. We decided I would switch to a thermostat and she suggested that I purchase the cheaper of the two options that she carries in store. She said "it's simple and easy to use and the more expensive one won't do you any better." My house will now be warm and cozy for my son and I. They've earned my business and hopefully you'll give them a chance to earn yours!

Every corner is thoughtfully curated -- beautiful home décor, unique gifts, garden pieces, jewelry, and those unexpected treasures you didn't know you needed until you saw them. The vibe is warm, cozy, and inviting, and you can really feel the love and care put into the space. It's the kind of shop where you wander slowly because everything catches your eye. Whether you're looking for a special gift or something to make your home feel more you, this place delivers every time. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, never pushy, and genuinely happy to help or just chat. It's one of those rare boutiques that feels both elevated and approachable. If you're anywhere near El Dorado, this shop is absolutely worth the visit. I always leave inspired -- and usually with more than I planned to buy (zero regrets). Highly recommend.

In the town of El Dorado, CA, they have the French Quarter Home Decor shop. It is right next to the iconic Poor Reds Bar 'n BBQ. The French Quarter inventory is quality made merch with a modern farmhouse charm. Prices are not outrageous. The staff is welcoming. The vibe was down to earth. The home decor items were on the lines of kitchen towels, cheeseboards, candles, vases, plates, mugs, box keys, pillows, seasonal decor, etc. Everything was beautifully displayed. They also sell woman's clothing, costume jewelry, purses, wallets, and accessories. They have an outdoor section selling new outdoor sculptures and previously owned (vintage like) wrought iron planters, arbors, shelves, and seating sets. If you are in the area, this place is worth checking out.

Sierra - Welcome to the old OfficeMax. Another location of this business is at the Y in South Lake Tahoe and you can tell why when you go inside.

It feels like it's a surplus store. They bought too much of a certain item so it lands here at discount. Is that the case? No idea. It also feels like it's what is needed in this town. Instead of running off to San Francisco or Sacramento, you can find clothes here. There are going to be plenty of other retail outlets doing similar things like Nordstrom Rack over at the old U-Mall. Would have been nice to have had this here in previous years though. It was also a lot of different specialties under one roof. A bit of the jack of all trades, master of none style. Buy shoes, dog food and a bicycle? This is your place. No one is going to want to do that though. Or surprise me...I'd like to see something land in this retail space and thrive for more than a few years at a time. From AI: Sierra Trading Post opening in East Hanover Sierra is known as an off-price retailer specializing in outdoor and activewear apparel, footwear, and gear. They offer a wide range of products at generally lower prices than department and specialty stores, with savings typically ranging from 20-60%. Sierra is part of the TJX Companies, which also owns T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods.
