They are the most supportive shoe I have found for work and hiking. They are best made shoes I have found that don't fall apart with all the walking I do for work and the hiking on the weekend. I can't think of a better example of a store that exemplifies the term "self service". No one is…read moreavailable to help, or answer questions about anything, unless and until you are checking out. Then they want to know everything about you, make sure you haven't somehow put the wrong sized shoes together in a box that might be of lesser value, while inquiring if you found what you were looking for with complete and utter indifference. Oh yeah, I always feel good about shopping in a store that projects an attitude of caring more about making sure no one is stealing over making sure they are finding what they want and need.

I want to alert people to the inappropriate management and hiring approaches used at the Folsom DSW…read moreon Iron Point. A family member was hired there and they were effusive about her hiring, her experience and customer service style. Within only a week or so however they started imposing new requirements that were NOT mentioned in the hiring process -- that if you did not SELL 10 VIP membership each shift you would have your hours docked. I believe this illegal on several fronts. But on top of that they were inappropriate, cruel and likely also illegal in their public and private treatment of employee. Please see the letter I sent to the BBB and the Regional Manager. I caution anyone who thinks they want to work there.

I was on the fence between the two, and he shared his personal experience wearing the Novablast 6, along with a clear and honest comparison of both models. He was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and never pushy. Alberto has a very consultative sales approach and made it much easier for me to decide which shoe would be the better fit. I'll likely order online since the colorway I want wasn't available in the store, but I genuinely appreciated the time and guidance he provided. Great customer service.

I had brought my mom earlier this year to get Shoes in elk Grove, California out of Fleet feet. My…read moremom is a fragile, diabetic and geriatric, and I noticed that she had really worn through the shoes so while shopping in Folsom, I spotted a fleet feet on my map And told her I was buying her a new pair of the shoes they fit her for earlier this year, the neuropathy and her feet is pretty bad. I told my mom I'd have them look up her measurements and we would get the same shoes we got before. This was the first fleet feet. I've been in that had more employees than customers, but after my experience, I completely understand. I went in and I ask a gentleman in a navy sweatshirt. I believe his name was Justin, but I was so upset when I left. I'm not quite sure if his name was Justin. He was a young kid under 25 with a navy shirt on. I ask him if he would look up my mother's account by her phone number. He said they only do email but he would try the name we went back-and-forth a lot. We tried my name, etc. I finally said let me go out to the car and get my mom's email address as she was waiting in the car for the shoes before I could do so the gentleman says to me that the computers between the fleet fees are not linked so it wouldn't matter unless I bought the shoes there which I found odd because I've gone to other fleet feet and they've been able to find my account so I could get the exact model of shoe that I had purchased before At this point, Mr. Navy man was finding this pretty freaking amusing and I was not. I said look I just like to buy my mother a pair of shoes and I'm sure there's something that can be done to figure out which shoes she had before they were either unwilling or unprepared to help with this situation which could've been as simple as calling up the elk Grove fleet fee to find this information so that the owner of this fleet feet could make a sale because I was ready to purchase a pair of shoes. Not only was the boy and his friends also working in the store finding this incredibly amusing I am not. I am sorry for the owner of the store because not only will I tell others about the store. I will never go into the store again and I have already contacted fleet feed corporate to let them know about my experience This store seem to be stocked with a lot of young people with no oversight and again I found it very odd that there were so many readily available employees as usually a fleet fee on the weekend is not for the faint of heart. There are usually so many customers in there, but I get why they were not in the store given my experience I was given the card for a manager named Rachel, but at this point, it doesn't matter because I would never step foot in the store again
