The owner is extremely skilled at what he does and clearly takes pride in his work. I've been bringing in my cowboy boots--owned since 2004--and every time he brings them back looking almost brand new. At this point, I'm convinced he has a time machine hidden in the back. One day I had a bit of a crisis: I was on my way to a meeting when I noticed one of my shoe soles needed urgent repair. I stopped in, explained the situation, and he handled it quickly and did an excellent job getting me back on my feet--literally. His pricing is fair, and he takes the time to explain exactly how he's going to approach each repair issue, which I really appreciate. No mystery, no surprises--just solid craftsmanship. Bottom line: if you need boots or shoes repaired, this is the place. I highly recommend it. Just don't be surprised if your footwear comes back looking better than it did when you bought it.

Not every visit turns up insane bargains, but more often than not. The majority of staff are pretty helpful and the cashiers are a hoot. The merch is organized. If the shelves are in a disarray, chalk that up to the over zealous shoppers. The staff do their best to keep items neat n tidy as we all should. I see staff literally go down the aisles and tidy up and I've seen customers go tear it all up.
