Gayle is not sold on this idea (or the custom hat I'd like at the Virginia City Hat Maker), but this was one place to figure out a range of styles I might like. They had my size, and although the guy helping me was nice, I deferred a purchase, but not before gaining some information I needed. Jim (brother-in-law) was with me, and ended up with a nice CW shirt at a good price. Lots of choices here and that's just the boots! Great friendly staff and eye watering prices! Quality appears to be pretty good too. If part of your trip includes snagging some authentic western style boots I think this could be your place. There's another spot down the street that most people seemed to check out before returning to Boot Barn to make their purchase. The consensus seemed to be that even though the price/boot was better there, the quality was not as high. I wouldn't know anything about that but it did seem like pretty good quality. I was in Nashville for a trip this week and one of my favorite parts of the whole experience was the boots I got at boot barn. I met a lovely women named Alisha (so sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong) who helped me out so much. There was a large selection, the quality was incredible and you can tell the staff really cares about their customers. Plus, I got a great deal! This store has every kind of boot you can imagine. No surprise there. It is a bit narrow unfortunately. They have a men's and women's side. Almost like two separate stores actually. The men's side seemed more spacious. They also have an upstairs with lots more room. It gets chaotic here. A couple times we came here and it wasn't too, too crowded. But on the weekend, I suggest you don't even come here. It is a zoo! With all the boots they have, they still did not have my size on one pair of boots I wanted to try on. Another pair I loved and they did have my size. But when I tried them on, one boot fit fine and the other was not manufactured correctly. It got real narrow. Staff had no response when I mentioned this. Anyway, i did buy a pair of boots. They are comfortable and the price was very fair. I went to their other location which is newer and much more spacious. I saw this place on TikTok, and knew I had to buy some boots from Nashville (with being mindful it's overpriced). This place is huge with a separate men and women's area. They had some cute clothes I was super tempted to buy and plenty of boots. They have one shoe in front and the other pair right behind it. It's organized by size and for a store on Broadway, it's pretty well organized. The service was okay, mostly because the staff is very busy. I did end up getting some adorable red boots, although I had to size up a full size, which I have no regrets about! I need to break them in a little more, but can't wait to wear them again! read more

This is a nice store right on Broadway in the thick of everything. It's very large and loaded with some high quality cowboy boots for both men and women as well as some really nice jeans and cowboy clothing. I had a good time browsing the t-shirts, jeans and belts. Hubs found a nice shirt he liked and I found a beautiful rhinestone belt for $50. Very unique, it'll be fun to add to an outfit at the right time at home. read more

Visited two Boot Barns yesterday. The two female workers in the Broadway store were only interested in talking to themselves. Not only did they show no interest in helping customers, one responded to my request for help with "maybe I can help you." She was serious in her sassy response. If you don't like costumer service and don't want to sell boots, you should work somewhere else. Interestingly, I had a totally different experience at the 2nd Street store. Stunning boots, great quality. If you want a hands on approach from workers while choosing/sizing boots this may not be your place. They let you browse the boots/try one but the workers tend to be out numbered and can't really assist customers. Boots are pricey, but you're paying for the quality and the unique styles they offer. Unfortunately, I need to leave a poor review. My girlfriend and I came to Nashville to see a performer we love and while we were there, decided to find a pair of boots for me. The salesperson, John, was awesome. He was patient, informative, and pointed out which boots were on sale to save us money if we wanted to. I found a pair of boots and went up to the register. The clerk ask us if I wanted to save 15% on my purchase and, of course, I was yes! He then rang up my purchase and gave me the total. The total seemed off, so we asked was the discount applied. He then said, "Oh, the 15% is on your next purchase." At that point I could have said "No thanks" and cancelled the purchase. I kept the boots and chalked it up to giving the company feedback later. I sent an email once I got back home and received a voice message from Kaylee asking for a call back. The good news is she did call me right back. We discussed my situation and she promised she would rectify the situation. She didn't give me a time frame, so I gave it at least a week. That was on 2/19/2025. My trip was over Valentine's Day weekend. It is now 3/4/2025 and no word from Kaylee or Boot Barn at all. I still get their emails though! I left a voice message on 3/4/2025, so maybe I will hear back this week. At this point, I just want to Boot Barn to respond and let me know if anything at all will be done. Judging by the lack of response to any review, I am thinking probably not. Too bad. They have good boots and at least one good salesperson in their Nashville store. Boot Barn, do better. read more

Of all the boot stores on Broadway, this one was my favorite and ultimately the one I purchased a pair of boots from! To me personally, I loved the way this one was organized the most and the selection from it. It's an amalgamation of all kinds of brands that you can find exclusive stores of up and down Broadway, but adding in a ton of unique ones I didn't see at any other boot store nearby! They organize the boots by size and one boot is in front of the other so you see a wider selection of boots in one fell swoop. If you want to try on a pair, you just grab the front one and the one behind it and it's great! They also sell clothes and a ton of other accessories here - just a great time all around! read more

If you were looking for a good pair of cowboy boots, this is your place. Located right on the main drag of Nashville, it was definitely a convenient spot. I browsed, saw lots of masculine fragrances & thought we need to douse some NYC guys in them so they might become more manly (or at least smell better than some of them do). But rest assured, they haven't forgotten about the ladies. They had a very wide range of cowboy boots and clothing for women, even for the girly girl types like yours truly. While waiting for my friend to purchase something (after I'd tried on a shirt that didn't quite fit or look right on me), I spotted this hat. Thinking I didn't have a hat like it, it sums up who I am perfectly and finding I could adjust it to fit my tiny head I felt I ought to get it so I wouldn't kick myself for not doing so. My friend insisted I needed to get it and with that push, I bought it despite my tendencies to frugality. Still not regretting that purchase and everyone who's seen it has praised it. We visit Nashville several times a year and always love to shop here. I've had my eye on a pair of boots during my last few visits and decided to splurge on them. We walked in 15 minutes before closing time and were told by the same employee at least 7-8 times that they were closing soon as we shopped. I asked where the children's boots were located and was told I could find them upstairs. They had already shut the lights off upstairs so we tried to shop quickly in the pitch black with our phone flashlights. We headed downstairs to checkout before closing and before we were hounded again to find out that there was an issue with the registers. Our associate had to call Shonda from the back to help and she was angry from the second she started helping us. I've never been treated so badly before by a store associate. The whole experience was so bad that another store employee chased us down on the street to apologize. I don't know that we will ever shop here again. read more

The associates are pretty hands off and allow you to shop at your leisure without constant interaction. I could've stayed inside the store for a long time! It was huge! They had a side dedicated to women's clothes and boots, as well as a side dedicated to men's fashion and shoes. When you first walked in, there was a small open area at the front of the store. It housed the shadowbox of the front window, as well as a few seats to sit down. I meandered through the store, as my mom stayed towards the front of the store to make a phone call. It wasn't extremely crowded, which made it nice to be able to look around at all of the boots and clothes. The clothes were very cute, but they were expensive. The only reason I am giving the store three stars is due to the expensive rate of all the boots and clothes, but I do realize that it is a boutique in Nashville. I think compared to other places in Nashville, this place was probably the least expensive. I loved how the boots were laid out by size and style. It was easy to find my section. Each of the pairs of boots had one pair forward and the other shoe behind it. This really gave more room to display all of the booths in each size section. I did not buy a pair of boots that day, but I think after looking in some other boot shops in Nashville, I would probably come back to this store. We're Garlist, even if you are windowshopping, best is a great store or to stop in! It is right on the strip on Broadway Street. If you need a break from all the musicians or crowded bars, this store is the perfect place to escape. Also, the view just outside the store offered a pretty picture of downtown Nashville. read more

Watch out. My 2 CC worked every where in Nashville until I got here. Would not go through and CC company said nothing was ever attempted. They tried to sell me on their own card and clerk was getting all my info like she was trying to figure out what my CC issue was. ***REVIEW FROM AN EXPERIENCE IN JUNE 2015: I just wanted to let everyone reading my review know that even though this review was written in the beginning of 2018; I went to this place in June 2015 (however I am sure if I went to this place again the review would be similar). A few days ago I was talking to someone about places visit in New Orleans because they are interested in visiting the city. I realized that when I went to New Orleans I went to a lot of amazing places but I never wrote Yelp reviews for them because I did not start writing Yelp reviews until the beginning of 2017. I enjoyed many places on my trip and I wanted to share my experiences with everyone even though they are a few years old. So I decided to dig up some old pictures and write the reviews. I would also like to add that most of the experiences I am writing about are places I went to while I was on a guided tour for my trip. I went on a Collette Tour called America's Music Cities. Most of the places we saw and ate at were planned because of the tour. During the tour we stopped at 3 major cities New Orleans, Memphis, and Nashville (and few other stops along the way). I just wanted to let everyone know that since I was on a tour my experiences may have been a little different compared to those who went to these places and were not on a tour (they went on their own) It was an amazing tour and I definitely recommend it.*** (I had a little free time from the tour on Broadway and I wandered into Boot Barn) I was in shock seeing so many boots in one place!! The store is two stories. The first floor of the store had a wonderful selection of cowboy boots. Everything was extremely well organized. The second level had a lot of clothing and they even had my favorite brand of jeans there. I wanted to buy boots and some jeans but I didn't have room in my suitcase. I am hoping to one day make it back to Nashville and this next time I will have extra room in my suitcase!
