A solid option for cute and durable boots at varying price points and with very good sale options. I didn't pick any up myself but my husband grabbed a nice pair of basic brown boots and the staff was so great helping him pick out the right fit and get the right size based on how it would stretch and mold to his feet. I do like the variety they offer here tho. There are more traditional styles like the kind my husband bought, some with a bit more flair (lots of sparkles) and color, and some with a bit of whimsy and/or edge. In particular I was tempted by a pair of baby pink vinyl boots with large tulips along the sides and another pair of teal boots with Elvis style lightning bolts, both of which were on sale. Unfortunately they didn't have my perfect size and I was a little worried if they would stretch enough so I passed. But I'll definitely make a beeline here first for browsing during my next visit to Nashville! read more

I was deceived about the 2 pairs of Ariat boots that I purchased. I was told by J.B. that all of their boots are made in Mexico and that no boots sold in the store are made in China. He also told me that Ariat boots have a lifetime warranty on their soles. Both statements were false. When I brought the boots back the next day, they said I could only return them for store credit. I explained how I was deceived, but they said they would educate the salesperson on the boots. No relief for me. read more

We stopped in 5-6 boot stores before we found the exact boots that my daughter wanted. They have high quality Ariat and other brand boots. They are located on Broadway and have multiple levels in the store including a 50% off sale area on the 3rd floor. Customer service was excellent and the salesman educated us on size and fit. They had a 30% sale for Labor Day weekend on most items which was a nice surprise. High quality for a great price. They have a great selection. The sales staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. Big Time Boots delivers big time! While out in Nashville about a month ago for a bff's bachelor weekend and visiting family, I stumbled upon the store while walking down Broadway. I've been wanting some new boots for a while now and they had such an awesome selection. On the third floor, I found this incredible pair made by Dingo (est 1969) that was just my style, in a gorgeous whiskey color. Being mid-length, they were perfect for my body type as they didn't make my legs basically disappear like taller boots tend to do to me. I love these things. It seems like I either get compliments or looks almost every time I wear them out, which always feels great! Oh and the best part about them, they had a special on them for half off! On the way out, I spotted two beautiful cowboy hats (one full brim and one trucker style). After seeking the advice of a few super cool customers and one very helpful saleswoman, I ended up with the cap. It's made by a company called Steson, who was founded in 1865. The hat is quite rugged, which is perfect for a guy like me who is quite rough on literally everything I own. I've searched high and low for both the boots and the hat to buy a second pair of each online, and honestly I can't find them. That tells me that Big Time Boots really has awesome selection of hard to find gems! read more

Big Time had greater variety of better quality boots. Check out all 3 levels! All are priced as marked, many pairs have mark-down tags on 1st and 2nd floors. Great sale rack on 3rd floor. Although they don't do the "buy 1 get 2 free" promotion that some of the other stores do, I found 3 pairs of boots for $69 each on 3rd floor - each different, all with leather interior and upper, 2 also with leather soles. I visited Big Time during my first visit to Nashville - girl I sat next to on the plane recommended this place for good boots selection. When in Nashville - you gotta buy boots! There are three floors and TONS to chose from - everything from very traditional to trendy and unique. The service at this place is spot on (Joe is the BEST)! My friend and I made our way up to the 3rd floor before we each found a pair to try on. And then Joe showed up out of no where - perfectly timed. He spent over 30 mins with us helping us find the right pair and let me tell you, we sure did!! Sheila found unique brown pair with flowers and I bought a turquoise pair with studs. Both were so beautiful and unique and fit our styles perfectly. Joe was so attentive the whole time and knew of all the tricks to help us find the right pair (size up or down by brand, plastic bag to slip on tight boots, hockey puck to stretch, etc).
