Had a similar experience to most of the reviews here. Entered the store and received no greeting nor any assistance. About 6 employees in the store, most of which were huddled together watching videos on their phone, gossiping, and ignoring everyone. Literally two other customers in the whole store. I came in to purchase boots for my wife but after 10 minutes of no help and seeming like I was a bother for wanting to purchase something I left empty handed. Boots are nice but definitely not nice enough to endure such poor customer service. I don't understand their business model as anyone who can afford to shop there expects a minimal level of customer service and will happily spend their money elsewhere. Instead you get a bunch of lazy and snobbish employees who couldn't themselves afford a pair of Lucchese boots yet treat customers beneath them. Based on the number of reviews RE the poor customer service, it seems like a deliberate top down strategy and a serious managerial problem. I would avoid this location at all costs. read more

I have been in here multiple times when we have traveled to Nashville and I have had great experiences every time. Recently I wanted to purchase some new shirts. Jennifer helped me and I was very satisfied when I left! I would give it 5 stars if it was a little cooler in the store lol. read more

Walked in on an admittedly busy day, but ready to try on specific pairs of boots. Found a pair I hadn't seen online that I wanted to try on as well. Wasn't greeted by anyone when I walked in. Made eye contact with an associate who was with another customer and even then wasn't even acknowledged or told where I could wait. My sister had rave reviews about the store and the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees. Absolutely hate that I'm in love with a pair with a style that's really unique so I'll be back to try them on and buy, but again, not happy about it. read more

Buying a pair of luccheses was supposed to be a special gift to myself that I'd been looking forward to for a while. I might look young, but I came ready to spend money and made a trip just to try them on in person. When I walked in, there wasn't a single other customer in the store. Two employees stood at the register, looked right at us, and didn't say a single word. No "hi," no "welcome," not even a nod. I walked around for several minutes, clearly interested, and still nothing. I ended up helping myself, trying on display boots because apparently acknowledging customers wasn't part of their job. Then, a man and woman walked in, probably in their 30s, and one of the same employees rushed over to help her immediately, grabbing her size and making sure she was taken care of. The difference was obvious, and it was honestly disgusting. I've never felt so unwelcome or judged in a store before. I felt embarrassed and stupid for even wanting to spend my money there. The only reason I didn't walk out was because of Jennie. I am so happy that she walked to the front when she did. She was the one person who actually showed kindness and professionalism. She took her time with me, checked the fit of every boot, and explained everything so in detail. Jennie completely saved what would've been a terrible experience. If I was only rating Jennie, it'd be a 5 star without a doubt. read more

I went into Lucchese in Nashville fully intending to purchase four pairs of boots. Instead, I was completely ignored. No one greeted me, and I had to line up just to try to get someone's attention. When I politely asked for help, one woman actually raised her hand at me--to stop me from talking. Then, without a word, someone tossed a crumpled, sticky notepad and a pencil at me and told me to "write my name down" so they could eventually get to me. It was unwelcoming, rude, and incredibly disappointing. I came ready to spend thousands and left feeling disrespected and invisible. I won't be returning. read more

Zach and Morgan were great. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the boots, materials, and fit, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. They were also fun to talk to and genuinely interested in helping. My exotic boots weren't in stock, which was a disappointment, but they reassured me that they could order them and get them in asap. Excited to pick up my boots soon! read more

After my experience yesterday I am not surprised to see all the other bad reviews. Like so many others, I walked in the Lucchese Nashville store with the intention of buying boots, and had a pair picked out. We walked right past 4 guys "working" while standing at the counter in the center of the store. We were never greeted or even acknowledged. We were in the store for at least 10 minutes, at a non-busy time. I even picked up the pair I wanted and showed them to my wife, and still nothing. By this point my mind had been changed due to the terrible customer service. Even when my wife asked one of the "workers " who seemed to be burdened to assist. I put the boot back and walked out the door. I even considered going back today for a fresh look, but after seeing these reviews I won't waste my time. Maybe it's time for a pair of Leddy's after all. This store should be closed if this is the best you can do. read more

Hire better quality sales people. Friendly would be nice. Greeting customers, etc. Workers had 0 customer service skills and no sense of urgency to help get alternate sizes or styles. Chatted among each other instead of assisting me. I spent over $500. I would have also bought a hat but didn't want to disturb the workers further. Disappointing. read more

I was contacted by Lucchese, thank you for doing so. We had a good conversation and I accepted the apologies. No follow up from Lucchese. This "pretty woman" scenario is pretty funny in retrospect. An old head decides to buy some Lucchese boots and recieves poorest sales reception possible and gets blown off. Thank you Lucchese for not letting me buy from you. James Leddy couldn't have been nicer-happy to wait while both pair are built-they we're freindly, accommodating and I certainly paid more but they know how to treat a customer that's for sure. Thanks again. read more

Love the brand ... loved the service ...love my new Mules . Quality , service , selection. This is a store where the product is worth the cost. You will wear these for years. If you are looking for a great pair of boots, look no further. Upon entering the store I was greeted with a warm welcome. After looking around and checking out the wide selection of boots, great travel bags , and other gift items it was time to try on my desired shoe. The gentleman who helped me was so accommodating. I tried on a pair , worried it might be tight he brought another pair 1/2 size bigger. But after a make sense discussion , I bought the size I came in for. This mule is a cross between a boot and a shoe. Ohh I love these. Pants, dresses, skirts and shorts ... so very cute and very comfy. I wore them later that night and walked a significant ways. My feet feel great . Thank you to everyone in the shop . I was thrilled about my purchase and the entire team was so friendly . I love my new red Lucchese mules !! read more

A good selection of boots if you can afford the luxury. They are a higher end boot. We can never find boots that are in our size though, so haven't been able to actually get a pair yet. The staff are typically friendly, but it depends on the day. When they are busy, they don't always have enough staff to help everyone. read more

Visited this store while attending a conference. Can't recommend this at all. Came in and asked a few questions about boots and sizing, and later found out they were all wrong. Love the boots - lousy service. Had I actually got the correct answers, I would have made a purchase. read more

Nice store and great boots. The sales lady was very impolite and never once asked if we needed help. I don't spend money where customer service lacks. Beautiful selection of boots and nice store. Thankfully found my pair down the road and they are beautiful!! read more

I went in committed to buying a pair of boots. I had to go to the counter to ask for help. The girl that helped me was not very cooperative. She offered little advice I tried on two pair and both were too big and very loose in the heal. She never offered to get me a smaller size Or another option. She just could not sell I left disappointed because I really wanted to buy a pair but this salesperson was awful. Very unfriendly Great quality boot but very very bad customer service. read more

If you order on line and return your boots because they didn't fit, prepare yourself for a long wait for refund. Buy on site only.

Great selections! The entire staff offered amazing service, they are there to help find the correct boot for you. Luccheses are not cheap, so you definitely want to match making sure you're fitted properly, a great place to check out in Nashville if you're interested in a great pair of boots read more

My husband and I went in with the intention of him buying at least one new pair of shoes, but he was never greeted or approached by an employee. I, on the other hand, was. I was sitting down, not looking at shoes, but got approached by two different sales people. I said my husband was looking for shoes, not me. No one ever approached my husband, who was holding a pair of shoes. I would have said something, but I knew the reason I was approached and he wasn't is because I am white and he is not. We didn't want to support this business. read more

ALL SHOW NO GO! There are certain brands that seem to attract consumers in spite of the brands inadequacies. One product which stands out in my mind is LUCCHESE BOOTS. Had a pair custom made for me. Pathetic fit! Shoddy workmanship! Poor leather quality! Worst decision I have ever made! My recommendation to consumers who are looking for a quality boot. SHOP! There are many brands that out perform this inferior boot manufacturer. read more

Upon further examination it turns out I was charged four times for two pairs of boots! I spoke to the new manager David who is helping me resolve this (new) issue. Ugh. Apparently they have good deal of turnover here as I told him I had spoken to 5-6 different people on the original issue. Caution: be very careful with sales people at the register (point of sale) here when you are trying on different pairs of shoes to ensure you are not inadvertently charged. Better to be over-sensitive than be charged $1600 on your card for two boots never bought/received. read more

I bought boots from Seth Bazemore he was very helpful and nice. I got a great fit. Love my boots. See Seth he's awesome!

We were the first ones thru the door when they opened and not one sales associate approached us. The salesman looked right past us and started working with the guy who walked in behind us. We were so looking forward to buying boots, even at the high prices, made a special trip there, but we walked out because we were completely ignored by the staff. Still can't figure out why. Missed out on 2 sales. The staff is rude. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I have a lot of boots including 4 pair of Lucchese boots. After visiting this store I am thinking of getting rid of them. My wife and I visited on a trip to Nashville. This place is ridiculous...the only other word I have for the store and it's employees is pretentious. I wasn't spoken to until I asked for a size. There were multiple employees in the store on a Tuesday and they were dressed to the 9s. I'm not sure what Lucchese is trying to sell but I will not be paying the prices. They have cowboy boots for 16k in the store. I get it... you pay for quality. But this isn't it anymore. I have never seen a business forget where they came from more than Luchesse. I bought 2 pair of Tecovas on my trip. They treated me very well. Lucchese can file for bankruptcy now and save themselves some trouble, you aren't what you used to be. read more

My husband was super excited to try on these boots. We had a great experience with assistance from Seth Packan. Great purchase. However, the unfortunate part of our visit was with several couples in our party that were not given the time of day. Sales associates walked past them. One of the couples, the parents of our friends, and well versed in shopping, was an extremely bad move for your store. She could have made your quota for the week. We will not return. read more

I came from out of town and of course wanted a pair of boots! I worked with assistant manager Denise Ahern and she was amazing! I pulled two I wanted to try and she got multiple sizes so I could see which one fit better! I did get a pair of boots that I LOVE and the service was great and very welcoming. Highly recommend to people looking for high quality boots!! read more

We visited the store over the summer and it was empty. There were 4 or 5 sales people in a tight cluster at the register. They didn't acknowledge us when we walked in. So we mosied over to the boots. They are very well made and had a lot of flair. I was looking for something more discreet. Eventually a sales lady provided some assistance. When I later showed them a picture of the boot I wanted to buy on their website, they shrugged and said they couldn't assist. I would have LOVED to have bought some boots. I respect the artists who create their boots. But the sales people in the Nashville store did a real disservice to the artisans. I feel it comes down to poor training and sales management--the sales people should see their jobs as ambassadors of the brand and leave people with a sense of pride and excitement that these boots are made by people highly trained in their craft in the US. But you walk out feeling disappointed, learning nothing, as you leave empty handed. read more

The manager, Courtney, was extremely helpful. I came over from Williamsburg KY to drop family member off at the airport. I have searched all of Knoxville and Lexington to try on the Lucchese barn boot for women to no avail. "Just buy online," is what I kept hearing, but I cringe at the thought of buying a daily wear boot online. This store was my last hope, seriously, before giving up. Slipped them on and heaven's angels sang!!! Truthfully!! I immediately fell in love!! But Courtney gave me solid advice and was just awesome! read more

After reading the reviews I was skeptical. We entered the store and went to the women's section, I browsed for about 2 minutes and decided that I did not really think they were for me. Kendall came up and asked how I was doing, I let her know I liked the more square toe and she suggested a pair of Savannah's. I said ok let's try it. Kendall sat with me as I tried on the boots, answered all of my questions, even pulled in a young man to verify as I have large calf's. We decided to try a darker shade, Kendall was so patient and helpful. I ended up buying both the light and dark. PLEASE DO NOT let the other reviews taint you as you walk in. The entire staff was engaging and friendly. read more

When I found out that my company was rewarding all my hard work last year with a trip to Nashville, I knew I had to come home with a pair of "real" cowboy boots. When I found out that being one of the seven elite top performers came with a trip to Lucchese, I was ecstatic. I knew who they were. I loved their stuff, but they were way outside my budget...unless you were getting a gift certificate that could put a giant dent in the cost! Which is exactly what happened. The moment we entered the store we received VIP treatment. There was champagne waiting for us, all of their associates and managers were there ready to greet us and assist, and they were extremely patient with us as we asked our questions and made our selections. My choices were a little more difficult because of my wide feet and small shoe size, but the manager found 3 awesome pairs that fit my criteria. I walked away spending over my allotted gift certificate amount and being sold the tools to help loosen and condition my new boots, as well as instructions on how to properly care for them as they're both leather and Python. Thanks again! read more

Best boots Monet can buy!! Didn't realize they had such a fine selection of clothes as well

The Boot: 5 out of 5. Well made, great fit, most comfortable boot I own -- the attention to detail and the quality shout out handmade. A 7.5 Narrow, I went with a 7 Medium as this style had no narrows. Fits like a glove. 7.5 M would have worked as well and given a slightly looser, sloppier fit; just depends on how you like your boot to fit. Cannot go wrong either way. The Service: 1 out of 5. Lucchese is a small company and it is inflexible, making online purchases challenging. The boot was a Christmas gift and ordered mid-November due to pandemic shipping delays. Arriving with a defect, which Lucchese confirmed, customer service said the boot had to be purchased by Nov 25 to be eligible for a Christmas return. I could get only a store credit. The Conclusion: I paid an increased retail price. I paid a restocking fee. I had a terrible experience involving a lot of my time. I did get a great boot. And I WILL NEVER purchase another pair. Try Tecova! The Problem: Not sure of my sizing, I wanted to try two sizes. With no brick and mortar Lucchese store in my geographical region, I had to order online. The Quandary: How to order two sizes, return the one which did not fit and use my store credit? Seems straightforward. Not so for a small company with no online sophistication. The Nightmare: Comprised of only 4 customer service agents, it seems coordination should be simple. Problem #1: 4 agents, 4 distinct procedures. Problem #2: Lucchese didn't have both sizes of boots in stock. A narrow return window required both boots to be ordered and delivered simultaneously. Problem #3: Finally in stock 3 months later, the retail price increased. Problem #4: Lucchese divided the credit between both boots. To return the pair that did not fit meant I would not have used 50% of the credit, so the only way to solve this, according to Lucchese: return both boots and reorder the boot I wanted. Good policy? Force a return of something the customer wants to correct bookkeeping? Problem #5: Lucchese ignored its written waiver of the restocking fee. I was charged a restocking fee upon return of the boot read more

I love the boots, have a couple pair. But the customer service is just abysmal here. I went in with questions last week and wanted to know about the process of ordering a custom pair. I was told I would have to have an appointment to look at custom ordering. There were two other customers in the store. I asked if they had any appointments available and if the person who handles custom work would be in that day. "Oh, it's just the managers who do it..." Guess where the manager was: standing behind the counter 10 feet away. For the next 20 minutes, every time I asked a question about a boot, my salesperson would say "I don't know... let me check" and then walk 10 feet to the manager, ask her, and then come back with a one-word answer. It got so comical in the end, I just started asking my questions to the manager across the store. She still never acknowledged me. In the end, I sat down in the store, looked up the information I needed online, and then told the saleperson what I was looking for. She still couldn't help me find the boots, I found them on my own. When you're ready to buy a $2000 pair of boots and you have to work that hard, you just give up. I walked down the street and bought them at another store. read more

I recently moved for TN and a friend recommended I check out this place for some boots. The store is beautiful and was busy for a Saturday afternoon. After glancing around a bit, I found a style I liked (Collins). The sales associate was very helpful in making sure the size/fit was good. As for the quality of the boots, I must say they are top notch. The leather is very soft and they fit like a glove. I'm pleased with the purchase and fully expect them to last decades.
