I had purchased them from Dick's Sporting Goods in Valparaiso, but after contacting new balance customer support I was instructed to go to the nearest new balance store to see what was going on with my shoes. There was something definitely wrong with them and the manager of the new balance Merriville store was so kind and even wrote a letter on my behalf to new balance so that they would help me with my shoes. I was having some problems with Dicks. After arguing with the corporate new balance operation, they said that there was nothing wrong with the shoes and that from the pictures I had sent them they were not going to be able to help me. That meant I had a pair of running shoes that hurt so bad when I ran that my feet would just ache the whole night after. But the manager there looked at the shoes and said there is clearly something wrong with that right shoe. These shoes were not even purchased through them and they helped me so much. He jotted down a letter for me to send to corporate and gave his name and his title for them to be able to contact him directly about my shoes. Of course, new balance corporate ignored the letter and told me to donate my shoes and that they will give me a 10% discount on my next pair. So I quickly went out and bought a pair of ASICS. There is no way I would do business with new balance the corporation. However , I would most certainly do business with new balance Merriville. I had a race on Saturday and I needed shoes so my husband went out and bought me a pair of Hoka's Bondi 9. I don't mind Hoka's at all. Especially since I like the bounce. But that meant that between the terrible new balance, the new Hoka's and the ASICS we had spent almost $600. It was a nightmare. I buy new shoes every 500 miles - so around every 3-4 months. Big mistake New Balance-- very big.

Once I decided on the brand she offered to order then correct sizes that I need they weren't in stock. I went an checked out the other store, but they had less of a selection, but more importantly they were not as friendly as Jackie at ATW. I came back the same day and Jackie was once again super friendly, professional, and patient. She had more customers this time, too. I ended up trying on a less expensive brand, Cherokee, because the Jaanuu that I had left on hold. I ended up going with Cherokee because I could get a three sets for the less than what I was going to pay for two sets of Jannuu. Jackie placed the order for the threee shirts and three pants in my correct sizes. They should arrive in 7-10 business days, which not a long time to wait. Anyway, the store was a great find, recommend by a friend that is a nurse, and Jackie went above and beyond to help me with my purchase.

So if you find a style you like and you don't like the color, just ask if they have other colors they will bring out all of them in your size. They have a great computer sizing system to find out your size and whether you need inserts. On one of my recent trips I discovered that I was an 11 1/2 and not an 11. This changed my life. I am phasing out all my size 11 shoes and buying 11 1/2's. The shoes are sold at manufacturers retail price. There are some shoes that go on sale, but it doesn't seem like many. They have a good reward system, but not great. Most of the employees are very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions you have. They are also able to recommend shoes based on your needs.

They don't have clothes from target or Walmart you're getting namebrand stuff. And you should for the price.
