I was greeted by the boutique staff and was told about new styles arriving every week, and are size inclusive from S- 3X. They are open 7 days a week. And if you have a salon appointment, then you get 10% off any boutique sales. The salon is positioned at the back of the store. A quiet little spot to get pampered. Products smell good. And they do NOT use Aveda products which is a Plus in my book.

Visiting Nordstrom's Racks sometimes feel like a treasure hunt. The Rack in Maple Grove is decent sized and well laid out. They tend to have a bit of a smaller selection of the higher end designers that you can find at the Mall of America Nordstrom rack but still a decent variety. They carry women's, men's, children's, shoes, accessories and home goods. Parking is plentiful but the traffic flow is a little tricky directing you right into the first row. That row gets 100% of incoming traffic so I'd recommend parking one or two over. Customer service here is always good. While you are kind of on your own to hunt the racks (if you want a personalized shopping experience head to the actual Nordstrom's) the employees always seem to be in a good mood and helpful when checking out. Dressing rooms are always clean and they have plenty of spaces to try on items. It helps when people return unwanted items to the return racks so do your part and don't leave them in the room. And spoke to someone that claimed to be a manager they said they would investigate the situation. They claimed to have check cameras, and they claimed that the shoes were in the bag, but the shoes never made it home with me. I'm a professional medical provider I have two twin boys, a husband there is no other female in the house and I know what I saw and how this person was acting at the register. Just make sure you check your items before leaving this store! Especially when you have someone that's bagging your stuff on the ground versus on the countertop!

Thankfully the dress was still there and it was so well priced! Unfortunately, the dress was way too immodest in the bust for my wedding day but it was a whole $10 cheaper than the exact same one on Modcloth. I did find a truly unique necklace for my friend's birthday and it was the last one so I had to get it. I will definitely be back here because their clothes are beautiful, unique and insanely well priced. Jewellery is awesome as well. Their website is not set up (it exists but there is no merchandise) and the employee told me they are on Facebook and Instagram.

It had been a while since my first visit to Parc (when I was young and broke), so my visit last week felt like the maiden voyage. There's a balance of affordability and higher-fashion style here, which I appreciate because that is a balance I try to find on a daily basis. There's a great selection of dresses, tops, jewelry, denim and more---all priced and curated well. The bauble table was where I had the most trouble saying goodbye. I saw the most interesting geometric pendant priced at about $75 (as usual, my eye wanders to one of the most expensive things on the table). Though I couldn't bring myself to drop the cash, I was compelled to put it on my Christmas list eight months in advance.

All of the brands they carry are women owned businesses and either local or from around the country. The staff is beyond friendly is they're always happy to help with any questions you may have. As well as clothing, they also carry the cutest natural skin care lines, especially Herbivore Botanicals. If you're in Minneapolis and have a shopping day, I highly recommend you stop in to their shop.

So today, after hitting up the Alamo Flea market, we stopped back into Hill-Valley. I think Hill Valley, and automatically think of Back to the Future, but you'll have to ask Liz for meaning. Liz , the owner is outgoing and full of enthusiasm about her store which I can understand. It's great to hear what people are passionate about and great to see them putting their vision into reality. Store is full of a lot of great find and trips down memory lane. A lot of the items she had came from what her family already had. - old furniture -china -old watches - records -consignment -candy cigarettes -clothes -clocks And more... I never used to be into looking at old stuff, but J loves it and I'm learning to appreciate the nostalgia and quintessential essence of old things. Great find and a great way to spend an afternoon.

THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC!…read more Trinkets, Jewelry, and Furniture! Oh my! Once again I found a cute little shop while out and about on my day off. I have been here twice now, and both times I have not left empty handed. My first time I left with $15 Nike Hightops that looked immaculate if they were not brand new. I also scored a button up flannel shirt (comfy as all get out!) for only $5... yes, FIVE BUCKS! On my second trip to Hill Valley Boutique I scored the most adorable Red Sunglasses for $12. The store is full of hidden treasures waiting to be discovered, but it's not overwhelming like some vintage/thrift stores you'll find. Not only that, but the atmosphere is so welcoming! There's music playing, the shop owner is adorable and sweet, and did I forget to mention there is a CAFE that is CONNECTED to the shop?!? Yep. This place is pretty neat-o. I'm excited to bring some friends to check out the shop and have a lunch at Hill-Valley Cafe nextdoor!
