I did not ask for a new card nor authorize Kohls to provide my personal and financial information to Capital One. I certainly did not authorize Kohls to give my personal banking information to Capital One for payment processing. I am floored that Kohls thought this was ok and this is a protocol breach of personal information being provided to a 3rd party company which is illegal. If you're looking for choice, Meijer's does feel very much like a mix of Walmart and Target together -- or like a slightly more upscale version of Woodman's. So you can find most anything you're looking for in this store with generally competitive prices. Like every other enormous store, they can sometimes suffer from inconsistency -- particularly in terms of food -- where the quality and pricing isn't necessarily as good as you might expect from peer superstores. Having the enormous choice can help mitigate some of this due to having such a large variety of available items at different price points. Overall though, the shopping experience is pleasant and the selection is massive. There's everything one needs to make this a one stop shop for all your grocery and other needs.
