I verified the brand of the shoe, the name of the shoe, the color of the shoe, and the size of the shoe with the associate. He confirmed everything. Really, Hobbs has all their bases covered with witty books, useless cool must-haves like nose cups (when you drink it looks like you have a funny nose) or flasks hidden inside a diary book, and of course, clothes. The women's section featuring styles modeled after Paris Hilton and the guy's much more cool and metro. They even have a baby section, with onesie's from American Apparel and and Paul Frank. Quirky and cute, this place is fun to browse. If you have a younger sibling that's high school or college age, I'm sure there's something you can pick up for them. Otherwise, shop with an open mind and you'll crack yourself up trying not to laugh out loud.

I had no idea what I walked into but I swear if a place sells genuine cowboy boots I find it. The Fort puts Boot Barn to shame (Sorry Boot Barn). If St. Joseph Boots has 17,000 pairs, I would say The Fort has about half. I've not visited St. Joseph boots, by the way. I smelled the leather when entering The Fort, and my nose immediately found the boots. Goodness, how can I choose just one? They have hundreds. Not just cowboy boots, but there's a pair with peace signs on them. While I was there, they had an ankle boot sale. I tried on a few pairs and left with a pair of Durangos...this was the first time in the store. The second time, I wanted to see if those ankle boots were still on sale. It pleased me cause they were...oh and the sandals with silver beads were on sale. I'm not normally much of a shoe person, either. They have boot services too, stretching and other services. I absolutely can not stand country music, but you'd never know it by my love for cowboy boots. Did I mention the size of The Fort? It's huge. All I'm saying is, Go there.

Not being from St Joseph it was very difficult to access this store, but boy we were happy that we had finally arrived at a place that wanted our business. We were greeted with a friendly hello and my son and I made our way over to the boots. He found several pair that he liked and was settling on a pair of ariats or durangos. He was unsure, until a clerk came over and gave her expert advice and then also advised him that he would get a military discount on them as well. Because they were so willing to help us, unlike the other large Boot company in town, we were able to make our purchase and leave feeling great about the new boots. Not only was I able to find clothes in my size (plus size) but they had a variety of style and types to choose from! If you need to buy gifts for multiple people of different age groups this is a great place to go. They have home gifts, jewelry, shoes, clothes, and even items for men! The prices were very reasonable. To top all of that off the atmosphere and service were superb! It's cozy and relaxing with plenty of space between racks. As I was shopping they offered to hold my clothes in a dressing room until I was ready. Even better yet the items I wanted they offered to hold at the register so I didn't have to carry it around as I continued to shop and wait on my entourage to finish shopping. This is located in a small town (my hometown) but they offer many modern options to pay. (I love using Apple Pay, it's more concise t than getting my wallet out). I am very pleased with this store and plan to stop in every time I come home to visit.

He was able to navigate this on his own, which is usually not the easiest thing for him to do, and he had great selection & pretty good service. While the prices of most things are going up, he stepped out of this location with a pair of new dress shirts and a pair of slacks that ran him over $220. That's a little steep, and while he got things that fit him (teen bodies change a lot), it's still a little much. I was certainly happy with the look(s) that he got with his new threads, and while I didn't mind paying the bill, I still think we could've gotten similar products for less elsewhere. That is not to say that Men's Wearhouse does not provide value; it's more to say that you're going to pay a little bit more where the selection is broad. At this point, my boyfriend questioned if the sales associate did this out of spite since we chose to rent a tuxedo instead of buy a suit from him. While this was extremely frustrating, the store Manager Keegan did everything he could to correct the situation. First he located pants that were the correct fit and color to pair with the suit coat, then he had his in-store alterations person make the adjustments onsite, and he was able to locate a completely different vest and tie for the ensemble that still paired well with my gala gown. We greatly appreciate Keegan and all he did to assist us, but wish we would have had a decent experience in the first place with the original sales associate.
