If you visit SUB, you would see the usual establishments like Subway & Edo at the food court but…read morethat's not the case for Juicy. They are located by the elevators near the bookstore, hidden & quiet from the chitchatting of students. They have a decent selection of smoothies along with paninis, ice cream and sandwiches. I decided to give the Berry Forever smoothie a try. Unlike Booster Juice which blends in the juice & sliced fruit, Juicy has it mostly premade, only needing ice before going into the blender. Aside from that, my drink turned out to be pretty good, not too sweet or sour, just right. There's not a whole lot of seating from a couple tables inside and in the hallway but it is a nice hangout place if going with your friends or classmates. Prices at Juicy are reasonable and definitely a cheaper option than the numerous Booster Juice's on the University of Alberta campus.

Juicy was one of my favourite places to get a snack on campus when I was there. You might not have…read morenoticed it even if you spend a fair bit of time in SUB, since it's around the corner away from the rest of the food court. Juicy's main thing is smoothies. To be honest, I haven't tried too many of them, because my absolute favourite is the Breakfast Smoothie. It's got your standard smoothing ingredients (orange and banana in this one, I think), but they also add a scoop of oatmeal that makes it taste like you're eating an oatmeal cookie. I love it. They also have sandwiches and soup, making them one of the better lunch choices in SUB.

Gluten-free granola is a highlight. This is the first totally safe açai bowl I've had in Canada…read more They use a coconut rather than oat base, so for all my oat-avoidant celiacs out there, this is a pleasant surprise. It's definitely worth considering taking home a bag of this granola. The predominant milk they use in their lattes is oat (gluten free), but alternatives are available. I've tried a couple of the mushroom lattes, and the Chana Charger is my favourite. The lunch bowls are predominantly gluten free or can easily be adjusted to be so. The produce is always fresh, which allows natural flavours of the ingredients to really come through and make their dishes stand out. The location on 104 St is very accessible from downtown, but if you drive, expect to pay a couple bucks for street parking. With an order at the till and sit anywhere system, it is an accessible place to go on your own and/or get some work done. There is also plenty of space to go with a group or meet for coffee. It was a bit pricey, $22 for my açai bowl and latte, but you definitely get what you pay for. And that's what keeps me coming back!

My favorites are the avocado toast with cashew cream cheese, the coconut BLT sandwich with greens, and the mint chocolate protein smoothie! Right now on Wednesday's they are having 2 for 1 drinks! Go get yourself and a friend one!!

Any OG Edmontonians remember when this place was Taiwan Bubble Tea with the eye soar red booths, dimmed lighting and split sitting areas that didn't go with either scheme? Yeah, well when you walk into HI Tea you don't see any remnants of that decade which I'm glad we've moved on from. They've managed to renovate the space and make it more modern with LIGHT! Nothing like a 2018 cafe without some scattered potted plants for decoration, wooden panels for an accent wall and of course tables and chairs with the same wood to blend it all together. Ah, now Hi tea you've sure got the aesthetics down now! Now to their menu, before Hi Tea became Hi tea it was a split between Taiwan bubble tea and Cheers Cut (that place with the giant flimsy piece of chicken that was half bone and looked nothing like the display out front) Food wasn't great, and it was more of a novelty visit more than anything. Fast Forward to today, food wise nothing really different or tantalizing, same mix of Taiwanese snacks and bowls and bentos. Bubble tea prices start from $4.80 for an artificial flavor all the way to $7.50 for milkshakes and milk caps. More epensive than coco's but -OKAY HI TEA. We got the Toufu Mik Tea - ($6.xx) - Bae liked this a lot, One of their specialty drinks that wasn't on their main menu but a seperate picture poster, pretty unique! Super Fruit Iced Tea ($6.99) - I paid 7 dollars for a cup for 70% sliced fruit, lol. I mean it was good, but like $7. This was my bad. It was on a poster and looked super pretty. Competition especially around this area will probably be the reason why I wouldn't revisit. Not a bad place to go if you're in to try for something different though.

They still don't have any proper seating even though the space is quite large so consider it for takeout only. This location tends to get pretty buy over the lunch hour but the line moves quickly if you have a little patience. If you request a booster, keep an eye to make sure it gets added - so far they've missed it twice for me. Otherwise, this location is as good as any other. The smoothies taste great and they have lots of variety to choose from.

Probably as long as BJ has been in operation. It's my fave. I absolutely recommend it. I put the Warrior Booster in it because I'm a Warrior. BJ does compostable straws btw! I also might get a booster ball if I'm feeling like a little extra boost. On other days I'll get a panini. :) This particular location also has very friendly staff and they keep it very clean. Even in the winter when you think there would be snow/dirt/whatever everywhere from people's boots. They're super fast and we're never waiting too long. There is lots of parking since it's in the Save-On lot!
