She cut me off frequently and answered all my questions in a very dry tone. I make a point to be expressive and give friendly gestures with retail conversations. I do this because so many service workers tend to be rude and nasty. Sometimes this works. But this woman remained stonefaced throughout our interaction. However, she was friendly with the woman before me, but only because she was talking about her daughter. Overall, the store could use some basic customer service training. BEWARE DISHONEST REPS WHO ADD UNWANTED SERVICES TO YOUR ACCOUNT!! First time Spectrum customer. I…read morewent into the store to pick up equipment to self-install internet service. The rep I dealt with --Ademin (or something like that) --- kept hard selling me on Spectrum mobile service, which I verbally told him I was not interested in at this time, no matter the deal offered. After minutes of way too much typing, asking me for my phone, and more typing, I said to him, "This is just for internet, right?" to which he mumbled a muted affirmative response. Minutes later (after even more typing) I get my internet equipment and return home. Just to verify that my account had been setup correctly, I logged into the Spectrum app. And what did I find? Spectrum Mobile service had been added to my account, against my express wishes and despite assurance from the rep that I only was signing up for internet service. Had I not checked, come a year from now, when the free year of mobile service was up, my bill would have increased, and I wouldn't have remembered why. THESE ARE THE DECEPTIVE PRACTICES THAT SPECTRUM IS LEGENDARY FOR (and which I never believed, until it happened to me). Stay away from this location, and if you must go, check your account afterwards. To finish the story, I called Spectrum customer service after finding the un-asked-for mobile service added to my account and had the service disconnected. I also reported the rep, but I doubt any action will be taken. I suspect this behavior is encouraged at the management level. Or maybe Ademin, the rep, mistook me for being clueless.

Expensive and bad customer service…read more They do not open at 8 am (despite what yelp says), I get there at 8:15, call because no one is there, he says he'll be there in 10 minutes and 8 am is only for appointments but he'll be there in 10 minutes. When he arrives, looks at my phone (an iPhone 13 Pro w a crack in the right corner), says it'll be $130 and take 45 min. I wait, pay, with taxes it's $150. I get to my car and I'm looking at my phone - it's dimmer, there's a visual delay when I scroll, it looks worse than when I had a crack in it. I bring it back, another man helps me, says that replacement screens aren't as good as the original, and to get a better screen those are more expensive - why didn't the first guy explain that- but this guy says he can upgrade my screen for another $20 and it'll only take 10 minutes. So tell me why it took 45 minutes to give me mediocre screen and yet only 10 to replace it with a better screen? I'd give it one star but the second guy did end up fixing my phone, 2 hours and $200 later. Incredibly frustrating experience.
