Oh jeez, had to dust off my Yelp and modify a review I left ages ago. Just had the worst…read moreexperience dealing with a simple screen replacement. Went later in the day, cracked iPhone screen, straight-forward replacement, got it finished near closing time, paid and left. Only after a bit of normal use, it must have had some compatibility problem (3rd rate aftermarket screen probably) and would not pinch-to-zoom. Took it back the next day, the attendant acknowledged it, replaced it again and it still was doing it. The attendant herself (like the employee the night before) was as helpful/polite as she could be, but it all turned to garbage when she got the owner on speakerphone for a "now what do I do?" call. He tried to pawn it off on us that the phone's "data was corrupt" and we needed to basically reinstall/update system??? The worst case of "did you try restarting it?" I've ever heard. It then became like an episode of Columbo with my indicating that the phone was fine, if the data was a problem, it wouldn't have changed with the screen, and he was all "these work all the time blah blah blah". It was immensely stressful and dripped with lack of concern for customer satisfaction. I told him he could just forget about me taking the phone home and doing some sort of factory install on it to just be back where we started from, and I needed the phone fixed now. Bear in mind, I put the attendant herself at ease that she was not the problem, that this was her off-site manager's rotten idea of customer service policy. Thinking WE were the one's going to be stuck, he said snarkily "what do you want me to do then?" And we replied, "a refund?" He snapped "then you're going to get a phone without a screen" (clearly he didn't grasp how this repair had been basically mere hours prior, on the previous night). We told them "just put the original cracked screen back on, it's probably still in the trash can!" [It was at this moment... he knew.... he f/ed up] The (still nice as she could be) attendant went back and got the heaping case of trashed screens with a look on her face like "good luck." Without missing a beat, we just grabbed the one right on top, there it was, the exact one... "there it is! Just put it back on and give us our money back!" (Gotta say, poor attendant girl giggled... agreeably). The owner had nothing else arrogant to offer at this point, and the attendant put the old screen back on. Oh! And then we held the phone in front of her and demonstrated perfectly normal pinch-to-zoom function, (which OF COURSE it was their shoddy replacement parts with compatibility issues). That got a smile outta her. He begrudgingly authorized the refund, like pulling teeth. We left losing a whole day right back where we started from because of this owner. Anyway, beyond offensively rotten customer service POLICY, so bad it's punishment for the poor employees just needing the paycheck. The owner is a classic "take the money and run" shyster. The only thing fun about the whole stressful experience is we've turned his "your data is corrupt" B.S. line into a household meme to have fun irritating each other. "Hey, guess what... your data's corrupt!" "OMG DAD, WILL YOU STOP!!" hehehe... anyway, our luck ran out here. Recommend you just drive right on by unless you like being taken for a tool.

Joshua nor Lloyd ( the owner) do not care about doing right by their consumers. We are owed $325 and until I see it, I will make sure every TCU student and family member knows to steer clear of this sketchy establishment. We love Fort Worth and have had nothing but good experiences - until now. It's not about the money, it's about the honesty. Taking advantage of a 19 year old girl who you know needs her phone to work, is absolutely despicable . In addition, assuming my college student has nothing productive to do, and I quote "she can come back to the store she has nothing going on," is gross. She is a scholar student who also has two jobs. No wonder your business is run this way. Next up - Tcu parents page via Facebook. We may have been screwed by I won't let another Tcu family. Go straight to Apple Store next time. He shows up at 9pm on the 3rd of May and fixes my phone in 20 minutes tops. He hands the phone back and it appears to be good but then I immediately got a "not a genuine Apple component" message and he says it'll go away after three days. I paid the remainder of the bill 104.91 and thought everything was good. Immediately after he left I noticed my screen wasn't the same in the dark. I can see the back light and every time I tapped it was like pressing on a flat screen tv. My camera wasn't picking up in the dark like it was before, my phone would dim randomly even though my brightness was at a fixed position it was over heating. This Man replaced my genuine oled apple screen for a cheap $40 lcd screen and charged me $300 dollars for it. I reached out immediately and told him what was going on he said he'd order the parts and they'd be here on Tuesday the 5th, I reached out and asked for an update he said fedex messed up the timing of delivery and it'll be here on Wednesday the 6th(still in may). I reached out again on Wednesday from a different phone number I immediately got a response for a quote because he thought he had a new victim. I told him who I was and asked for an update only to be ghosted. Please do not go to this person if you care about genuine parts and service. I will admit he "fixed" the phone fairly quick but skimped out on cheap Chinese parts for a better profit whilst costing me more . Tisk tisk tisk.

First off, Apple's Technical Support associates online, on the phone or in person, are INCREDIBLE!…read moreThey are so caring and immediately take ownership of the technical issue I'd had each time I've contacted them. I was having a charging issue with my AirPods Pro 2. I work with Apple Technical Support for around an hour, and they were not able to get to the root of the issue. Their suggestion was to head over to the "Genius Bar" at one of our local Apple stores. Upon arriving I checked up since I'd made a prior appointment. I love the vibe the Apple stores have. I'm glad I'd made an appointment since the store was packed. There was a lot of students there since it's the start of school. After a 10-15-minute wait as the Genius Bar, Blake greeted me with a smile and asked me what's going on. He logged on to my service record and followed what had already occurred the prior day with the support I'd received. I asked his how long he's worked for Apple. He told me 10 years on the Genius Bar and 20 years providing Apple support. Yep, I was chatting with a genius at the Genius Bar. He clarified what was happening and which air Pod was acting up. He ran several intensive tests and at the Genuis Bar and back in the back of the store. For some reason there was a "disconnect" between one of the pods and the case causing the charging issue. He needed to send them in for repair and they'd be back in my hands in 4-5 days. Thank goodness for AppleCare. What an incredible experience with Blake and the Apple store personnel. Superior service and support are what one expects with Apple products and that's what I received.
