The staff is always friendly and helpful when I'm looking for a specific book. My daughter has also inherited a love for books and ask to come here at least once a month. I also always go check out their clearance section to see what gems I can find. The last time I went I loved that they have books based on heritage and cultural observations, this month the had a section that showcased Pride books. I look forward to going back again soon.

We rented a Nerf laser tag party w/ concierge for 16 kids. Our group was 35 kids but we had an…read moreunderstanding with the vendor they would simply have the kids be in teams and take turns. We had other passive games for the kids to play while they waited. Things that were great: 1. The online ordering process - great website and super easy to navigate. 2. How quick they would respond - I was very impressed at how quickly they replied to my emails! 3. Politeness of concierge - the hosts of our Nerf laser tag party were very respectful and took care of setup/teardown amazingly! Things that were disappointing: 1. Excellence of staff - when I was finalizing the order of the sale via email with the representative, I felt like they did not care about me as the customer. There was a promotion on their website to get a free upgrade I had to mention, even though they suggested a specific upgrade they would have charged me for that was a part of that promotion. Secondly, the concierge team very much felt like two college guys who did this for some extra cash who did not care how our time went. I had to step in as the game leader because they were incompetent at corralling the kids or explaining a game (and this was after a couple of haphazard "games" where I could tell our kids were confused). I kind of wish I didn't have a concierge so I would've been mentally prepared to lead the games instead, though them taking care of all setup/teardown logistics was SOOOO NICE. There was just a gap in excellence in this area. 2. Unexpected charges - their prices do not include taxes, delivery fees, or a "in case of damage fee," which made the price go up pretty significantly. If we did another laser tag party, I will probably look at my other options first.

Can you find items for less somewhere online? There is a chance that you can as with most things, even target pulls the buy it online for pick up for less than walking into the store. Can you make more by selling your items online yourself? Yes you can! There is some trade off to being able or willing to take a bit of a hit on things if you know its out of our hair right away vs things sitting at our home for possibly months waiting for it to sell on online resale sites. For my personal experience, this shop took care of us when repairing my PS2. They have always been awesome to my kiddo when we've brought him in to shop. He got more for some skylander figures, than he would have at other similar stores. Honestly my kid made money on the skylanders cause we had gotten them on super clearance when being phased out of most stores and we had held on to them and lucked out that my younger kiddo liked the game too!

I worked out a great deal with Darrell. The company emailed me the price which was not what Darrell and I had discussed. I replied to the email and never heard back. I text him and never heard back. Finally I called him and he assured me the price would be what we discussed. In party day I got a text about 30 minutes before they would be late to the party because they were having generator issues. Ok, no problem, I understand machines can break, so I said what time do you think you will be here? I do have to entertain kids at a party after all. Once again no response. Finally I hear back they aren't going to make it because they got a new generator but the driver of the van left with the keys. I'm not sure who runs this company, but I'd guess no one is really "running" it. They offered to make it up to me some how, but after asking a way for them to do that, no response again. Thank goodness I never paid anything upfront!
