First off, I should have known better.. Ipad would not charge, took it in and Paid $108.25 for new…read morepower port (young man transparently said that there may be more wrong. Port gets replaced and now battery needs replacement. Says that if they keep finding things wrong with the Ipad I can apply credit to purchase of new or used one. I get told that the replacement under Apple warranty was a refurb and told they are terrible (red flag) either i should have expected that more would be wrong or .... needless to say I agreed to $377.79 for battery and get call that a $15 part needs to be replaced but they will "cover" the cost. I have been impressed with the transparency (they emphasis many times they cannot know what is wrong and if more they will give credit towards a refurb or a new one and both come with a lifetime warranty for repair if it goes wrong. Wife picks it up and when I log into it screen looks like it is wrinkled. Enough is enough he prices a replacement (refurb $1200+ dollars including my credit) I can buy a new one for $800 at Sams. I should have asked what the selling price was (remember they were transparent) but the reality is i can buy 2 new ones for the price of a refurb (1200 + what I spent $485=$1685. I asked why he didn't tell me the price (I should have asked) He then lectures me that mom and pops have to mark items up from retail (for new they buy at retail prices??? And I should know that's what all mom and pop stores do) and they have to charge for the warranty. On refurb they must be making 300%+. Feels like bait and switch. Buyer beware.

I took two my ipads for repair of crack screen for screening replacement and the other did not…read morepower up. They replaced screen but screwed up on fingerprint activation. They could not repair the fingerprint and they keep lying about ordering parts. Aftert 3 months, no parts and not able to repair. So i had to take it back but they still charge for screen repair along. They were not able to repair the other ipad power and kept lying about ordering parts delay again. After 3 months but no parts and they were lying again that the had to send it out for other shop to repair, but no success. they offer to replace different one with less valve. They asked for upfront payment. i gave $80 tip at time of payment. If you need replacement, you send it to Apple instead or buy new one.
