This little restaurant is probably a tiny kept secret, but I've heard that their lunch business from local factories is very strong. And we saw a ton of carryout orders come & go while we dined in. We went for a pizza, which was great! Cheese was just right, sauce was a spicy (not sweet) pizza sauce. The crust was good and cooked just right. We asked for half one way, and half a different way and they did a great job at making sure they didn't cross over. Square cut, which was a pleasant rarity. The owner/manager/boss was not someone we met, but you could tell they cared about customers and their satisfaction. There was a delay with our order and they took good care of us. Far too good care of us IMO. Jenna our server, was friendly and just the right amount of conversational. The decorating was not hip or trendy, it just looked like a little restaurant in the country. Was recommended to Boomerelli's by a friend. The comment below was right. If you are not looking for this place, you could easily drive by it and never know. The outside was also not the best, but the inside was completely fine and well kept up. It's also cash only, so make sure you don't go in expecting to pay with a card. The owner was there and made all of the food herself. I was pleasantly surprised with the pizza, as the crust was very good and the sauce had just a hint of sweetness, but wasn't too much. We tried their Thursday special (16 inch pizza, up to 7 toppings for $12), and we were very pleased with the quality of the toppings. Very affordable pizza was specials on pizza most days of the week. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but you can't do better for the price. read more

This has to be one of my favorite pizza places, and to think it is only 2 miles from my house!! I was referred here by a neighbor down the street who said they have great pizza and daily specials. There are 3 things you need to know with Boomerelli's. Here's what I mean. 1. You have to find the place, you can easily drive by, as it's about the size of my family room inside. 2. You have to walk in the front door. From the outside, it is not the most welcoming looking place. It looks run down, but I assure, it is clean inside, and the pizza is phenomenal. 3. Make sure you bring cash, as they do not do credit cards. Now, onto the best part, the Pizza. I am a huge fan on thinner crust pizzas. Theirs is not super thin, but it is just the perfect thickness. The pizza is always piping hot and the spices or whatever it is they put in the sauce hooked me the first time I ate it. Lastly, ask about their daily specials. They have one every day, and are usually worth getting. I will often get one on a Friday and nibble on it all weekend. Saturday morning Boomerelli's pizza is the best!! I believe they are also closed on Sun & Mon. Please note, my rating is on the quality of the food only, if other items, like ambiance were included, then I guess I'd have to rate it a 3 or 4. I've never had a bad pizza there, and my guess is that you won't either. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I just had a pizza from here and it is the worst in elkhart hands down. The crust is far from good as it is pre-made/mass produced/frozen....consistency of thick cardboard, NASTY! I can't say enough about how horrible the crust is and you can tell it's not made from fresh dough because the bottom has aeration holes in it that comes from the machine that makes the crust in some factory somewhere. The other 2 comments are obviously from people that have some kind of personal connection to the business because this is the grossest pizza I've ever ate in my life no doubt. The toppings were just "ok" ..oh and almost ZERO sauce in between the toppings and the crust which made the pizza even that much worse. Frozen pizza from walmart tastes better than this I am not exaggerating one bit. I don't like typing up such a bad review but this pizza deserves it. They offer other items on their menu but I will never go back there ever again. If the pizza is this bad I can't see how anything else can be very good. If I were them I'd close up shop........it was that bad. I threw over half the pizza away just because the crust was inedible. If gordon ramsey were to come and try this pizza he would spit it out into the trash no bull. I don't know what the other commentor was talking about when they said everything is under $10 because I just paid $16 for this crap and feel like I was robbed and should call the police. I've never said this about any other restaurant or pizza place but I wouldn't even feed this to my dog....even though she begged and begged I just threw it away...lesson learned. read more
