They had a great selection to choose from, and the bouquet I ordered--the Botanical Beauty Bouquet (Premium), looked exactly like the photo when it was delivered. That alone was impressive. What really set them apart, though, was their thoughtfulness. They asked for the recipient's phone number so they could confirm she would be home to receive the flowers, especially with the storms today. This is such a smart and customer‑focused policy. Far too many times, flowers are left on a porch in extreme heat or cold, which completely defeats the purpose. Debbie's Designs clearly cares about ensuring the recipient gets a beautiful, fresh arrangement in perfect condition. Bravo to the team! I don't live in the Crown Point area, but I will absolutely order from them again anytime I need to send flowers there.

The order was approximately $65 plus a $6.50 tip, scheduled for pickup at 2 PM that Friday. When I arrived at the store, the doors were locked. There was a handwritten note saying they were out on a delivery or consultation, along with two phone numbers that went unanswered. I was left showing up empty-handed to grieving family members after paying for flowers I never received. After leaving a negative review, I finally received a call from a male representative who immediately became defensive and rude. He claimed the business is closed on Saturdays, despite the fact that their Google business page STILL lists them as open Saturdays from 10 AM-5 PM and their website actively accepted my order. Instead of apologizing or taking accountability, I was told I "should have called the store directly" because he supposedly has "no control" over the business website that took my payment. I requested a refund and was told it would happen automatically because the order was never accepted. During the same conversation, he repeatedly pressured me to remove my negative review despite never offering a solution, apology, or compensation for the situation. When I refused, he became irritated and repeatedly stated that he "doesn't care" about negative reviews because he can "just dispute them and have them removed anyway." I called again on May 4th after still not receiving my refund and was told to wait up to a week. Today, May 11th, NINE days later, I still have not been refunded. During today's call, the same representative acknowledged he knew exactly who I was and what order I was referring to, but claimed he "couldn't see the order" in his system and therefore "couldn't refund it." He attempted to push responsibility onto me by giving me a payment processor phone number and telling ME to figure it out myself. To be clear: I placed the order through THEIR business website. It is not the customer's responsibility to fix a business's payment processing issues, especially after the business accepted payment and failed to provide the product. At no point did he offer to personally contact the processor, escalate the issue, or make any real effort to resolve the situation. Instead, he became angry and told me to dispute it with my bank. The most concerning part is that even after multiple complaints, their Google page still advertises Saturday business hours while customers are apparently unable to pick up orders placed through their website. At this point, the entire experience feels incredibly misleading and unprofessional. If you choose to order from this business, I strongly recommend using caution.

You can imagine how disappointing this has been. Bryan's Florist was wonderful to work with. Spotted this new plant shop in the neighborhood and just had to stop in!…read more Lynn, the owner, kindly took the time to walk me through her selection and guide me to the right decision for a low-light plant for my bedroom. The selection is stellar and I think they have something for everyone! Plus, their pretty pottery, books, and other accessories mean you can walk out with a cute plant AND a cute home for it. They're closed Sunday-Tuesday, so just make sure to check the hours before dropping by. They also seem to have a robust website & post new plants there, so that's another option if you're not comfortable with in-person shopping. As for covid, only 3 shoppers are allowed in at any time, masks must be worn at all times, hand sanitizer is provided at the door, and you can only touch what you intend to purchase.
