I ordered flowers for my mom as a surprise. Because I didn't have a definite idea what I wanted, I…read morejust gave a few general requests (colorful was one) and left the rest up to them. Wow! they did an amazing job. My mom is VERY picky about flowers and isn't easily impressed. She was so thrilled she sent me several pics then called them to say how it was the nicest she had received! Highly recommended!

I stopped in today to check out pricing for a bridal bouquet. The lady at the desk said she's not…read moredoing weddings because she's booked solid in July. Too clarify, in case it mattered, I said that I needed just one bouquet. I am not a florist, so at this point, I'm guessing that one bouquet might not be comparable to handling a whole wedding. She restated she's not doing weddings because she did have the bandwidth. I said ok and headed for the door. No biggy. Then she said to other ladies, "Did you hear her?! I said no and she kept asking." Are you kidding how rude and unprofessional?! You should never mock potential customers! In fact, I would've approached that encounter like, "So sorry I'm totally booked. Congratulations on your special day! I see you brought your holder with you. What are your colors or what flowers do you like? You could try making it yourself. You'd need to soak the foam overnight and space the flowers out like so, and include greenery too,"or something to this degree. Any type of way would've been better than choosing to be unkind. Be wary of this place Valpo.

I couldn't even sleep that nite I was heartbroken that I wasn't able to get flowers for my beautiful sister. When I placed my order with her, she said sure no problem we can get it done for you tomorrow by noon! I received this picture that I requested around 8 am!! I was just so happy she was the sweetest lady so kind and compassionate and competent! And her prices are fair! I wish I could give her 10 Stars!! When my sister called to complain she was told that our mom was not home so they left it on the porch and another florist must have come by and switch them because that is not what was left! She only went to drop something off at a friends house and was gone all of 30 minutes. She lives on a cul de sac and what florist is driving around looking for flowers left outside to switch with theirs? I know there will be some snarky remark from the florist but the last two times we ordered from there we were on the fence. It is very hard because there is not really another florist in her town, just tired of crappy service from retail lately. Maybe that's why businesses are closing up all over the place!

On May 2nd, my mother and I placed a sympathy flower order through Petal & Vine Flower Shop for my…read morein-laws after a sudden family loss. The order was approximately $65 plus a $6.50 tip, scheduled for pickup at 2 PM that Friday. When I arrived at the store, the doors were locked. There was a handwritten note saying they were out on a delivery or consultation, along with two phone numbers that went unanswered. I was left showing up empty-handed to grieving family members after paying for flowers I never received. After leaving a negative review, I finally received a call from a male representative who immediately became defensive and rude. He claimed the business is closed on Saturdays, despite the fact that their Google business page STILL lists them as open Saturdays from 10 AM-5 PM and their website actively accepted my order. Instead of apologizing or taking accountability, I was told I "should have called the store directly" because he supposedly has "no control" over the business website that took my payment. I requested a refund and was told it would happen automatically because the order was never accepted. During the same conversation, he repeatedly pressured me to remove my negative review despite never offering a solution, apology, or compensation for the situation. When I refused, he became irritated and repeatedly stated that he "doesn't care" about negative reviews because he can "just dispute them and have them removed anyway." I called again on May 4th after still not receiving my refund and was told to wait up to a week. Today, May 11th, NINE days later, I still have not been refunded. During today's call, the same representative acknowledged he knew exactly who I was and what order I was referring to, but claimed he "couldn't see the order" in his system and therefore "couldn't refund it." He attempted to push responsibility onto me by giving me a payment processor phone number and telling ME to figure it out myself. To be clear: I placed the order through THEIR business website. It is not the customer's responsibility to fix a business's payment processing issues, especially after the business accepted payment and failed to provide the product. At no point did he offer to personally contact the processor, escalate the issue, or make any real effort to resolve the situation. Instead, he became angry and told me to dispute it with my bank. The most concerning part is that even after multiple complaints, their Google page still advertises Saturday business hours while customers are apparently unable to pick up orders placed through their website. At this point, the entire experience feels incredibly misleading and unprofessional. If you choose to order from this business, I strongly recommend using caution.

The store also sells other cool home goods like candles and essential oils, all curated from local businesses. The staff there were friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great ability to balance my preferences with their expertise, without making me feel either overruled or unsure of my choices.
