    I am incredibly late at reviewing my vendors for my wedding, but better late than never! ZuZu's did a perfect job for my June 2011 wedding. I had an inspiration picture from Martha Stewart weddings that I wanted a few changes made to and they did a gorgeous job. Natalie and the guy working there (so sorry I don't remember your name!) worked with me and made me feel completely at ease! They were reasonably priced - which EVERY bride can appreciate. On the day of my flowers were delivered promptly - it was one thing I never had to stress about!

    Natalie and Zuzu's Petals supplied the flowers for our March 2014 wedding at the Patrick Haley mansion. At our initial meeting, Natalie sat down with us and was able to envision the perfect blend of flowers. All we provided was our color scheme! All centerpieces, bouquets, etc. were beautiful they day of the wedding. There was fresh rosemary in each bouquet which smelled amazing all night. The flowers were fresh, sturdy, and well put together. During the weeks leading up to the event, we had several changes and additions/subtractions on our end. Natalie was very professional and promptly answered all questions. She was fantastic! I would highly recommend Zuzu's petals for any wedding!

    Albeit a very late review, I wanted to reiterate how impressed we were with Zuzu's petals for our wedding. We ended up booking with Zuzu's Petals after our fabulous consultation that I mentioned initially. Natalie and her team at Zuzu's transformed our very urban venue into an indescribable event space. She took our vague ideas of having natural themes with the very odd chartreuse and royal blue color choices, and made the most stunning floral arrangements. She even purchased glassware to give the small votives an Asian/Moroccan feel. Needless to say, I came to Natalie with a lot going on in the way of a theme/look/colors. She took all of it and made it work flawlessly. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Thank you, Zuzu's, for the creativity. Thank you for being an incredible florist to work with, for taking all of the intricate and outlandish thoughts I had and making it all into the most amazing, visual experience at our reception. After the event, the owner of the venue (which we thought was a standalone beautiful place) came to us and said he had never seen his venue look as good as it did for our wedding reception. That was 100% Natalie and her team transforming Loft on Lake from a beautiful, urban loft into something I never could have pictured in my wildest dreams!

    I couldn't be any more thrilled with ZuZu's Petals! We hired ZuZu's to provide flowers for our August 2011 Chicago wedding. My fiancé and I met with 2 other florists (both in the city) and then went for a shot in the dark by meeting with Natalie in Orland (we are both from Tinley Park). After looking at their website, I got a sense that ZuZu's wasn't your typical suburban florist that made bouquets exclusively with carnations and roses. Natalie's style is very city-chic and so tasteful! I immediately felt comfortable with her and could tell she understood my "vision" (even though my description of what I was looking for was pretty vague and I knew nothing about the flowers that I liked). She was also fantastic about working within our budget (even below it!), which was incredible. While her services may be more expensive than other suburban florists, she was a good value in comparison to the other city florists from whom we received proposals. Within 15 minutes of our meeting, I had a proposal in my email inbox (we literally were still on our way back to our city residence). She is extremely organized, juggling lots of changes here and there after we considering how many candles we wanted, how many tables we had, what types of flowers I wanted in my bridal bouquet, etc. When Natalie dropped off the bouquets for me and the ladies, I was so thrilled! The colors were so bright and amazing! The flowers were breathtaking! Our centerpieces at our reception were also great! The pictures speak for themselves. I would absolutely, 100% recommend Natalie to anyone looking to work with a professional and extremely talented florist.

We stopped in Thursday before Mother's Day on a large last minute decoration request for our job. It was my first time there and I've never bought flowers in bulk so it took us some time asking questions and running numbers. The first interaction that left a bad taste in my mouth was a worker barking at me to stay away from the carnation buckets that another worker had said I could choose from. "There's nothing back there for little girls" was his way of telling me, a 33 yr old WOMAN, not to pick from the carnations. I wanted to immediately leave, but knew we needed these flowers and this may be the only place we can find a large amount last minute. Then, when we finally were ready to check out, the owner (or the man behind the desk) was adamant that our client's card numbers weren't going to work because he needed 16 digits. I explained AMEX only has 15. It seems their systems are dated, so the owner had to call the card reader vendor which held things up and a line began to form. We didn't want to cause stress for anyone so we assured him multiple times he can take other guests before us so they didn't need to wait. He declined and continued to insist that it was our fault we didn't have the correct card numbers, but continued to speak with the vendor (who later confirmed that AX only has 15 numbers...). None of the other customers were complaining at all..but the WORKERS started making unnecessary and rude comments about us and how long it was taking. I was on the phone with my boss trying to figure out another option while the owner was on the phone with the vendor and things were feeling really stressful already, let alone having staff talk about us in front of the entire store. "This has turned into so much of a nightmare." "This is ridiculous." I told one of them that we had offered for others to go ahead of us in line, but he said they couldn't because the car had been loaded already. Finally, I was so stressed that I put it on my personal credit card just to get out of there. Rushed out of there with my receipt only to see they had unloaded my car- so now I had to wait for them to reload...after they were rushing us! Never in my life have I been heckled at by the employees of a business where I am spending $1000...I was shocked and felt disrespected..like they thought we didn't have the money to cover our bill, and that just because we took longer than an average transaction, we were inconveniencing them. The only reason I decided to still purchase with them is because it was last minute and right before Mother's Day and our options were slim. But to choose to return...absolutely not.
