I remember when she worked at a different florist years ago and loved her taste even back then... she then took all of her skills and finally got her own floral shop a few years ago.. Ive used this florist on different occasions for my son's dance's, very unique & custom pieces- We have also used them for a bridal shower, as well as every day occasions-NOT your typical florist -located by the beautiful National Lakeshore / School-House-Shop.. gorgeous place to stroll through, have tea or shop! I cannot even put into words how appreciative I am for Audrey. I wanted to do something significant for my Grandmother's 85th birthday that i unfortunately couldn't be with her for as I live states away. And Audrey went so far above and beyond. As I was first planning the arrangement she was so extremely quick to contact me back and forth, even at 11 o'clock at night. Her prices are great and significantly lower than I would've expected especially coming from such a great business. I needed the flowers delivered and left at the door, she made sure to call, email, and text me upon delivery and get a call back from my Grandmother to insure she received the flowers. All I had requested was 85 stems total to represent every year of her life and 20 roses to represent her grand/great grandchildren and left the rest to Audrey. She was excellent and so easy to work with! We basically gave her some ideas and emailed some pictures, and she took our vision to reality. Her arrangements were fresh and really beautiful! We could not have been more pleased with the centerpieces! I recently placed an order for Valentine's Day for my mom and she was delighted with the unusual cabbage roses that were in her arrangement. Last year, her flowers from LEF featured a wooden trellis-type piece that was really unique. The deigns that you'll see here are different and unexpected. There are other flower shops in Michigan City, but after trying them all (4 years of high school dances to get flowers for!) I realized Audrey is the best. Last year, she put together the most beautiful orange Gerbera daisy bouquet for my daughter to take to prom, and she said it was the prettiest one there.
