Checked the website to see what services they provide. I didn't see any information about non-clothing items and pricing. I called in the store and Eileen picked up. I asked about the pricing, and she said "by weight". I asked for a minute, as I checked the weight on my comforter next to me. She got triggered and said, "MA'AM I DON'T HAVE TIME TO WAIT FOR YOU." Nasty, rude, and unprofessional. Eileen, I checked your archaic website to get answers myself before calling in, but that was a waste of MY TIME. This dry cleaner is absolutely amazing! Pros: + Great customer service - I had trouble with a beautiful white coat that was stained with tons of mud. They did an amazing job cleaning the coat and did it so quickly! The turn around time beat every other spot I tried to go to by 2 days. + Reasonably priced - most places charge an arm and a leg for things. While this place is a little pricey for dry cleaning, it is competitive with the market (to slightly cheaper) as well as worth the extra benefits they give you. + Easy parking - plenty of metered spots right in front + Laundry by the pound service as well - I'm gonna have to come back and try this too! TERRIBLE. After receiving a flyer, we decided to give Bonnie Brite Cleaners a try. My husband paid for everything in cash ($27) and then they told him pick up is on Wednesday (4 days later). He tells me this, and I told him that we need the clothes so forget it. Asked for a refund. They told him they couldn't give him a cash refund, only store credit. Our laundry bag was literally right there. My husband instead in cash back since we JUST handed them our laundry bag. When the staff insisted she can only give back store credit, we compromised and said fine. She THEN told us we have to wait until MONDAY (two days later) to get the store credit because only Sal the owner can perform these tasks. Are you kidding me? So now we have to wait for our STORE CREDIT. Let's see how this pans out... We are all for supporting local businesses, especially family-owned ones, but this isn't a proper business operation. read more

I have not had a problem over the past couple of months when I began using this company. I use the delivery service. It's very convenient. The owner is very nice as well. I recently went to Bonnie Brite because of their coupons. I had 10 sweaters and 2 mid-length wool coats. I am very particular especially the sweaters which were cashmere/wool. The sweaters and one coat seemed clean after inspecting them each individually. However, the other coat still had three stains on the back which Ahmet told me to come back and they'll fix. Please note that I didn't know I had the stains until I inspected the coat when I came back home after it was "cleaned". It was quite annoying that I had to make another trip. I went back in a few days since it wasn't convenient for me to go back the same day. I agree with Donna D. on Ahmet's attitude. When he told me to come in and he'll fix the stains on my coat, he was very short on the phone but it could be a cultural thing. In person, he is totally fine. Very personable. For the price (coupons are worth it), I'd go back again. If you have stains, it's best you point them out. I give it 4 stars because they missed the stains. 4.5 because they said they'd fix it and the stains totally came out. read more

The staff are friendly and if I ask to put a rush on something they will accomodate me as best as possible. Do NOT get your clothes tailored here. They RUINED a pair of my Dad's favorite pants but haphazardly stitching on a patch. Also, I went there (not realizing it was the same place) to shirt sleeves shortened and they screwed it up. I don't think the guy who took the shirt had any clue what he was doing, so I should not have let him take the shirt, but regardless, BAD TAILORING! I'm a neighborhood business owner and believe you should support your local businesses. However, I did give them a try. Three times. First of all their customer service is the worst I have come across for a retail store. The first time, someone was having a bad day. The clothes were okay, as I really only needed them to be refreshed. Although, I asked not to have a crease in my slacks, went home with a crease. I wore them, went back to have them done again, (my expense, no problem) asked not to have the crease, letting the counter person know the problem before, there was NO comment. Went to pick them up, before I left I checked and there was the crease. I mentioned it, the counter person had no comment just took the slacks went to the machine and repressed them. No apology, no excuse, nothing. I had a few other issues too; $40.00 worth. I will never use them and never recommend them. read more

Bonnie Brite is the best dry cleaners on francis lewis blvd, they are much better priced than Romano's on 26 ave. They are friendly and polite, and the tailor is amazing, she works so quickly and her stiches always stay, Ive never had to go back with a fallen hem after she has sewn it. Best dry cleaners ever, they even put little tags saying they couldn't remove a stain on spots I can't even see a stain. Not cheap though, but worth it. Would get 5 stars but someone named Ahmed needs a serious attitude adjustment. I imagine he's the owner (or related) because I think he would get fired if he wasn't. read more
