We had multiple water spots on our ceiling throughout the house after a particularly bad storm. We were convinced the roof needed to be repaired or replaced even, so called Bonner Built to come take a look. Our technician Garrett stayed at our house for over an hour checking out the roof, our attic, and anything that could be causing the leaks. He sealed a couple of spots that could have been causing a problem, but didn't try to oversell me a brand new roof when we didn't need one. He was honest, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. We contacted Justin Allison at Bonner Built after having another company do aerial inspections using a drone. They told us there was nothing that they could do to prove hail damage. We remember the storm well and there was hail. Bonner Built physically went on the roof and found proof of damage. They were able to work with our insurance and get the roof replaced and we only had to pay the deductible. They came out and they replaced the roof in a day. There was a large crew cleaning up debris as it came down and searching for nails. It was an efficient operation. Very thankful that they were able to work this out with insurance. read more

They did a fine job of replacing the shingles on the roof, but the insurance company had okayed for the repair of some damaged gutter guards. They decided not to do the gutter work but when replacing the gutter guards that were there left them sloppily reattached and not tucked up under the shingles. The representatives never returned emails or phone calls when asked if they were going to come back out and fix it. Also, received very confusing information from their billing department. read more

This company is HORRIBLE! Do not walk, RUN!!! They are completely awful and trick customers into signing a "free estimate" to look at your roof for possible damages. Beware, you will need to get out your wallet the second they come to the door and DO NOT sign anything!!! The sales guys working for this company stand around in the street by their trucks waiting like alligators for business. Completely unprofessional. They fly their drones around looking for roof damage and then come to the door saying they can give a "free" estimate to look at the roof and that what you are signing is just so they can contact your insurance company. What a deceptive way of doing business. What you are signing is actually a contract to do business with them for a large fee. The owner had the audacity to tell me over the phone how he runs his awful business by telling me that if you sign anything with them and then do not go with their company, you owe them 10% of the insurance adjuster's estimate for the roof anyway. If you don't pay his company the 10%, the company will put a lien on your house. Wow. I would never ever ever ever recommend this company to anyone. Would give them zero stars if I could. Please, there are so many better companies out there than this one!!!!!Do not choose them!!! read more

I am a real estate agent and was recommended Bonner Built by a co worker. They came out and inspected my clients roof and gave them a good verbal report, and said they would send the report over shortly. Three weeks later they still have not sent over the report. I have called their office multiple times and Ryan Johnson many times with no return. Each time I am actually able to reach someone in the office they say they will send when they get back to the computer, still no report. We are set to close this week, but cannot without that report. I do not understand how someone can stay in business and not return multiple phone calls from a customer. read more

During all of the rain in the last 3 weeks, we discovered a leak in my daughter's room, and assumed it was coming from the chimney/roof area. We got an estimate from one guy at Bonner. Told them we needed it fixed asap. They said no problem. Then, they kept pushing the appointment later and later. Finally, 2 weeks later, they came. Problem with that is that it has rained almost every day...and, the previous day was an ALL DAY DOWNPOUR. A different worker this time. Nice guy. Then, I get a call saying the price is going to be over double the low end of the original estimate. I didn't expect the final price to be the lowest quoted price, but I certainly wasn't expecting over double! I said no way. They told us it would be $75 for the house call. Whatever - I wrote the check. Luckily, their worker was an honest guy and he said he would at least caulk the main problem area so the rain would stop flooding our room until we could get someone else out here. We DO NOT recommend this company. I am a very unhappy customer with a leaky roof and a flooded floor and bedroom wall that now has to find someone else who is trustworthy. read more

I like Bonner and would happily recommend to others. I am very big on keeping our money in our communities. I have some of their business cards and keep my ear out. Specific to my experience, they were very prompt with the reports and dealing with my insurance. They were thorough with inspecting my roof and coming up with solutions to avoid damage to piping, etc. I did have an issue with one of their people with follow-up. I mentioned it to Jason, one of the owners. He a made a point to work with me directly through the remainder of the project by text or phone whatever was convenient at the moment. The back office ladies are also very attentive and friendly on the money side. Finally, everyone there talks to you like an adult. If you don't understand something they take the time to explain it so you understand. read more

I needed a new roof. Storms over the years finally killed the OE roof on my 15 year old home. I had neighbors that had recommended David and the entire Bonner Built team. I reached out and Bonner Built took care of the rest. The job was scheduled to be done 2 days after insurance approval and they were in and out in less than 12 hours. The roof looks great, every concern I had was taken care of and the experience was flawless! They even picked up the extra materials on a Saturday so it wasn't left in my yard all weekend. I am not typically one to write a review. Actually, this is my first. I contacted Bonner Built on a referral from a friend and cannot believe the lack of professionalism and courtesy. I called on a Monday to schedule an appointment for someone to come out due to a recurring leak in my roof. The woman I spoke with took my information and said someone would contact me shortly. Within an hour a gentleman called me back and schedule for between 10:30 and 11am the following day (a Tuesday). I work from home, so with the exception of taking my son to school and picking him up I am around. No one ever came. The gentleman had given me his cell phone number in case there were any issues. I waited until the end of business day since I know things come up. I call his cell phone and am greeted with voice mail. I cannot leave a message though because the mailbox is full. I call the office, they're closed. This is at 5pm. The following morning I call the office. It is Wednesday. I speak with the same woman I originally spoke to. I explain the situation and am told either she or another representative will get back to me. Again, I patiently await a call. Another day goes by and no one contacts me. It is now Thursday morning. I call the office yet again and speak to the same person. She explains someone did come by my house but didn't have a ladder tall enough. I asked why no one had contacted me and she didn't have an answer. She assured me she would contact the original gentleman and he would promptly get in touch with me. Yet again a day goes by and I don't hear anything. At this point I am ready to call another roofer. SURPRISE the guy contacts me early Friday morning to tell me someone would be out between 10:30 and 11am to look at my roof. He says if I am not home when his guy comes he will call me later in the day to let me know what needs to be fixed. Again, I work at home. So by 3:30ish I haven't seen anybody. I text him and explain that to my knowledge no one has come by. Can he please let me know what is going on? NO RESPONSE. I am a pretty patient person and my leak is not urgent. However, you would think a family run business would have a little more customer service. As a business owner myself, it disappoints me a small business would handle a potential client in this manner. I guess it is time to find someone else interested in my business and money. read more

Very mixed. Bonner did work well with insurance and installed a nice quality roof. We made the mistake of choosing samples via email which I do not recommend when matching a home and visualizing a a complete roof as it will differ from photos. The real issue was the installation - sloppy at best and left damage to our driveway, trees and plants. The yard and deck were left strewn with debris, discarded ropes and supplies which should not happen. While install had issues we have high regard for the salesperson who was excellent and did follow up immediately to correct issues so in the end everything was fine. Our first roof so could be that this is status quo but process was a real pain. read more
