Having these tests performed by a skilled optician (Jose) and then reviewed and explained to me by the eye Doctor (aka Optometrist) gave me full piece of mind on the state of my eyes and having the picture taken gives the Doctor a detailed view of the health of my eyes. Amy and Laurie are the highly trained eyewear stylists so to speak. They give you an honest opinion of what glasses work for you and what doesn't. They are light and durable. Highly recommend them. I will NOT be using Lenscrafters ever again. With COVID was concerned about going to Lenscrafter's in Oshawa Centre. When we did go in and ask about the way the premium lens were constructed (the top focus area is an issue and wished to change it), I was first told that I was 3 days out of my 30 day warranty and that I would have to call the manager. When I mentioned that I felt, given the situation, 3 days was not unreasonable to be late coming in, it was suggested that my prescription was off. The person helping me then asked me to focus and "tested" the prescription. He said the issue was my prescription and I had to see my optometrist. When I asked what he suggested my prescription should be he wrote down .25 different (this "test" was done with hand held devices and my optometrist had used a rather more substantial set of electronic and physical devices). I've given up on Lenscrafters and will be going to see another company about changing the lenses to what I need. I feel taken by Lenscrafters and that the person there helping me had no interest in my seeing better, only that he had protected the company from having to remake my lenses. Also, why wouldn't the manager of the store call me? I had to call him. Again, no customer service perspective or consideration.
