It's a great deal and you get to learn a lot about your eyes. The optometrist is very friendly and informative, he isn't here trying to pawn off a prescription and end it there. He will go beyond this point and explain everything in concise details so YOU understand your current eye health. I don't think I ever had an optometrist go out of their way to do some health teaching like he has done here. Please go here if you need a new optometrist because he really is amazing and deserves the recognition for local Markham residents. A lot of East Asians suffer with poor eye sight and they need an informative eye doctor; one who isn't just going to hand out prescriptions and call it a day.

Further to the email, Dr Rotholz did send some material to justify some of the services provided during my visit including the retinal exam. He made me feel very comfortable and while he was testing my eyes he kept informing me of the process and patiently answered all my questions. His advice was very honest: he did not push me or recommend me buying unnecessary services or products. Contrary to that he advised me, based on my eyes and vision condition, not to go for unnecessary tests. I truly appreciate his honesty and professionalism. There are several other eye Dr's who work out of the same office but we specifically see Nancy. She is knowledgeable, considerate, loves her work and always takes care of us. Her office is clean and well organized. They have enough staff to keep things moving. For example, if your not doing your eye pressure test, you are either in the room doing the eye exam or outside selecting your new frames. They have a very nice collection of frames to choose from and their staff really know how to help select the correct frame for the shape of your face. I really don't want to world to know about this place because I don't want it to get too busy lol The only thing that I would love to have is direct billing. I have direct billing with my dentist and it is wonderful.

Dr Chung is a kind of doctor who takes her work seriously and professionally. She spends enough time in testing your eyes to your full satisfaction. I used to wear bi-focal glasses. On my first visit, Dr Chung conducted detailed and thorough tests and concluded that I needed cataracts procedure. That was a life changing conclusion and decision for me. My "youth vision" returned to me. Happily I've been glasses free for the last 9 years.

My kid has had something bothering her eyes even though it wasn't her annual appointment time, but they allowed her to be seen. They also try to get my glasses of high prescription thinner than anywhere else could make it. The glasses here are quadruple the price of online glasses like KITS at nearly $1000 (or would be over $1000 if they didn't give me the 15% off for getting the eye exam there). Insurance only covers $500. But overall, I'm happy with how they look and feel.
