Certainly not our best Bonefish dining experience! Perhaps that was the reason for my personal digestive system a 24 hour tailspin. Their Bang-Bang Shrimp was the usual corporate standard, but the Calamari was pure tasteless over-fried tidbits of chopped crud! Someone needs to look into their supply source. I will admit my Sea Bass filet, though thawed, was grilled perfectly. Asparagus was steamed ideally crisp, but the Jasmine rice was glutenous as if over cooked or had sat in the steam table for an extra two hours. Our server was very pleasant and patient as we gazed over their well known menu. Over all - Bonefish has had better ratings on my part, but the other evening was hopefullly simply a dining pothole. read more

Today I visited Bonefish Grill in Fayetteville NC during lunch and was told there would be a 5 minute wait. I was directed to the holding are, but shortly after, two Caucasian men walked in and were seated immediately. I wasn't given any explanation and continued to wait without updates. After an extended delay, my party and I had to leave because I needed to return back to work. The lack of communication and apparent inconsistency in seating was very disappointing and frustrating to say the least. I would hope that the staff can improve customer service, transparency and fairness in how guests are treated. If I am not recognized as a paying customer then my money will not be spent with your establishment! read more

Our visit to Bonefish after the US Open was just wonderful. I had the Mahi Mahi which was grilled perfectly and moist just like I like it. The Our server Lucia is our favorite server at this location. She is always so warm and welcoming making you feel right at home. My husband and I went here for our anniversary in North Carolina in the Aberdeen location. I had the Bonefish signature pasta with shrimp and it was excellent. The wildflower martini as well! My husband had the fish tacos and said they were ok. Overall we were happy and the waitress was lovely! Her name was Lucia. The waiters and waitresses are overall very pleasant and professional. 1 other came over to being us our drinks and he was very nice as well. read more

Eh. Nothing special. Their "fresh margaritas" tasted like pure mix & the salmon I ordered with jasmine rice & garlic mashed potatoes tasted like it all just came out of the microwave. My rice wasn't cooked all the way and was hard and my bf could notice it without even trying it ha. As an elite yelper of over a decade, I have three things to say: bacon Mac and cheese, bacon Mac and cheese, bacon Mac and cheese. It is amazing, and I order just that every time. Sometimes several orders of just the bacon Mac and cheese. BUT THE PROBLEM IS PORTIONS. I ordered a steak and asparagus, and it was a terribly small portion... see picture. The customer service is just meh, but the food is good. I recommend the steaks, they are seasoned well, and the veggies are always fresh, but don't expect much. I used to love Bonefish, now not so much. My husband went into town to pick up our dinner curbside. When he got home 2 items were left off, one was a cheesecake that we were going split. He should have checked the bag, and he didn't. We called after we noticed missing items, and he drove 20 minutes back into town. You would the manager we spoke to over the phone might just give us an extra cheesecake for the trouble. Or maybe they could have given us a gift card in the amount of the tip I had already prepaid. Although this is part of a chain, we have been here several times including once with a large family group and have always found the service excellent, always friendly with a smile. The ambiance is dark and relaxing, and the food is consistent and does not taste like prepared chain food , but tastes fresh and is always served at the perfect temperature. Bonefish has become one of our "must have's" whenever we're in town visiting Pinehurst. Every meal we've had here has been delicious! This time my husband had the Chilean sea bass and I tried the "Partners selection" which was bacon, spinach and blue cheese on haddock - the flavor was incredible!! As always, the service and drinks were also great. "Mama Lucia" was our waitress and the Manager Kristin recognized us from our previous visits. We will most definitely be back!! read more

Let me start by saying the food was good. It's usually a standard for us wherever we live bc we love seafood. Our server was very sweet but could not compensate for kitchen problem. We were there yesterday on Mondays day, fairly early when dining room was only 1/4 full. My husband watched as table after table who came in after us being served there dinner before us. Ultimately waited over an hour for dinner to be served. 2/3 meals were up to par. Server felt bad and threw in a free dessert which we didn't want. At least one entree should have been comped. Perhaps it was a ploy for us to drink more which we did. Expected it to be crowded on this holiday but better kitchen management is réquired. With so many choices in Pinehurst area, we won't be back. read more

Went for my birthday. Everything went wrong. Wine was skunky and had to be replaced, appetizer was forgotten (it was brought AFTER we finished our dinner and ultimately comp'd), sea bass was cut terribly resulting in one side being very over cooked (way to expensive for this to happen), water glass was dirty. Our server was very apologetic but given all these problems, I would expect a manager to come by and apologize but nope--guess it was the end of the night so closing duties were more important. I had such a wonderful birthday up to this and decided to laugh about it instead of getting upset but we certainly won't return. read more

Went in with some coworkers for dinner. One of my friends got a steak, which I found odd but whatever. My other friend got the sea bass and he said it was good, and it looked good, too. I had the scallop and shrimp linguini and was sorely disappointed. The shrimp and scallops were small and not a high grade, likely imported. The sauce was watered down and not creamy whatsoever. The wait staff was very kind, but it literally took FOREVER to get our food. I would not go back with as many options there are here. read more

Bang Bang shrimp is addictive! Hubby and I get the urge about once a month and head here to get our fix. I've been to other Bonefish locations; this one is average in terms of the condition of the bar, seats, etc. but the people are way above average. I'll start by saying I love Bonefish's bang bang shrimp. We stopped for these and grilled fish, first visit to this location. We arrived about 5, only 2 other booths of people in the restaurant with all tables open and only the 2 booths occupied. I was surprised that we were escorted to the very back of the restaurant and seated right at the bathroom door. I expected my husband to ask for a booth but this time he didn't. We order our drinks and the bang bang and felt pressured to order our meals, we didn't. The shrimp were great! The bread was way undercooked, it's normally crusty and warm, this was not. The lettuce in the Caesar salads was not fresh, the salads were underdressed and I don't like a salad dripping with dressing but these really didn't taste like Caesar salads. Bonefish normally has good salads. The soup was barely warm and the crab was just a few shreds, not the few lumps I'm used to seeing. The grilled fish was nicely cooked and had a fresh taste, vegetables were not that good. Service was ok, far from outstanding but tip worthy. The dining area was clean and looked great. Overall I would not recommend this location but I would still recommend other Bonefish locations. read more
