Very good food, particularly for a chain restaurant. Loved the crab cakes--maybe some of the best ever! Nice atmosphere. A bit crowded, but it's managed well. Besides, an empty restaurant is not exactly a good sign. Great service, far above most places. On a whim I tried the fish tacos. Not bad! Somewhat unique in their size and crispness, but I liked it. I visited this place on a Sunday for Dinner; we arrived at around 7:30 pm and got seated quickly. The place was not packed which was good since my wife and I were starving and proceeded to order the Bang Bang Shrimp as an appetizer and it was really good (better if it was spicier) the house salad seemed to lack something to the naked eye but once I tried it it was really good! We were in the mood for steaks so my wife ordered the 6oz Sirloin and Crab cakes medium well but it was overcooked, luckily the spicy sauce that came with the crab cakes helped a bit by masquerading the burnt taste;Crab cakes were really good! I had the 11oz Angler medium well and it was cooked perfectly, nice and juice. Overall we were not impressed with this place maybe next time we'll try the seafood. read more

Went here to celebrate a birthday, I had done the online reservation the day before. When the day of the party came - more people confirmed so I called the restaurant 5 hours before the set reservation and the girl who answered was so helpful and understanding she increased the party size and asked if we were bringing a cake just to have accommodations. When we got there they sat us down even though our party wasn't complete - the service was great. Just don't expect to have them sing you happy birthday. read more

This is by far the best Bonefish location EVER! I live in Broward but work not too far from here so I like to stop by before or after work. The staff are incredibly amazing. Each one of them always provides excellent customer service. They take the time to get to know their customers and they always ensure that all of their questions and requests are perfectly honored. Best Martinis and so affordable. They don't drown them in soo much juices or vodka. Perfectly balanced.

As Soon as My boyfriend and I walked in at 9:20 pm the hostess without saying even Good Evening said: The kitchen is closing in 10 minutes, you have to order quick. A coworker told me that the same thing happened to her and her husband, but I thought that they showed up at 11 o 12 pm. It's early in miami for a restaurant to close their kitchen. I walked in at 7:40pm asked gor a table and sat on a bar high top (where they'll usually take care of you to eat) NOONE CAME FOR 30 minutes, although the waitress was roaming around lost. 2 people by us had already left. I requested the manager (Crystal) and showed her (on phone text ) how long we had been there just WAITING explained what we had observed and she just said I'll get you a table now. She got us a table in the SAME area of where the waitress we had seen just roaming was. when she came to the table I expressed Our disappointment of what had occurred when all we wanted was a nice Saturday dinner. She went on to say she was new and "thought" she was only in charge of the. 4 tables and not the high tops. So I proceeded to tell her oh so it's the management fault. To cut the story short. It took another 20 minutes without the wine, appetizer 40 minutes and 2 other people at the Bartolo left. I realize nowadays most restaurants are shortstaffed, but it's the managers responsibility to be on top of things, and at least apologize walk around see what's going on that's their job. Not impressed at all. I had never before eaten at this place before because everyone I know says the same, "overpriced chain restaurant" but my friend insisted in going there and since he was paying i said Why not. The appetizers were the best thing. The food was a major disappointment. I ordered a soup and it came after my meal, the manager removed it from the bill. The soup tasted right out of a can, it wasn't even hot enough. As far as the service, well i already talked about the late soup, but we really did not know who our server was, we had three different people come by randomly either to serve food or to bring water. Not impressed AGAIN with this Bonefish Grill location. Inconsistent food preparation from other locations. I pointed out that the green beans were over sauced, literally smothered, and he offers to get more. Unfortunately, he brought back the same beans that had been rinsed in water. I know this because one of the beans had a weird shape and had fallen to the table, and pick up by the servers fingers. It came back to my plate. The manager did come to the table after requesting him, and did take the meal off; but this means I get no points for my visit. So now I have an unpleasant visit and no reward points for my loyalty. We love Bonefish Grill period. We usually go to the one on SW 8th Street and occasionally to the one further south. They remodeled recently and opened up the main area. They also have a large bar area and plenty of booths. We are always happy with our choices. Their soups are as delicious as their classic Bang-Bang Shrimp appetizer. The fish dishes, cooked to your liking, and are always excellent, their mashed potatoes and vegetable a perfect compliment. Their pasta bowl dishes are also very good. Nice desserts which we almost always share. The drinks, like Cosmos from the bar always good. The service is almost always on point, not 5 star, but still very good. I really feel sorry for those rare patrons who are annoyed with their meal and their service and even when their meals are comped due to mistakes are still unhappy. Sad for them, as we have been here several dozen times, are loyalty members, and always leave with a happy stomach and a smile on our face! read more
