I have been a customer of Bonefish Grill (store # 7022: SW 8th Street and 147th Avenue) for the last 10 years or so) and have been usually very pleased with your restaurant's quality and service. However, I have recently been very unhappy with your restaurant. When I was there on Saturday evening, my girlfriend ordered a filet "medium" and it was served quite well done. We finally got the waitresse's eye and showed it to her and she apologized and told us that she would take it back and bring us a new one. In my opinion, when a steak is returned it should be done quickly, however, by the time that she brought us the properly cooked filet I was already done eating what I had ordered (I tried to eat it slowly) AND then my girlfriend noticed that the cut of meat was definitely too tough to be a tenderloin--which is what a "filet" is supposed to be. I personally tried to cut the "filet" and it cut like a sirloin rather than a filet and when I tasted it, it was definitely NOT as tender as a filet is supposed to be. I seriously doubt that your "filet" is tenderloin steak. Also, the dish that I ordered (Mahi Mahi and shrimp) was way too dry and not the least bit juicy ($26.50) . This was all to the tune of a bill of $96.00 (the only extra that we ordered was a glass of red wine and a glass of champaign). I don't mind if a restaurant is a bit pricey IF I get what I pay for--which this definitely wasn't. Truthfully, I have no desire to return to Bonefish Grill and would not recommend it to anyone. Also, the waitress, Amanda, was very nice and friendly BUT she spends too much time at tables chatting with customers and does not look around to see if any of her other tables need her. I timed her chatting with another table for a full 5 minutes while I anxiously tried to get her attention for service. I noticed that she did this with several tables and spoke at length to most of them, ignoring other tables that were hers. One last complaint: Amanda brought the manager over to our table at our requst and Aramis Paez, the manager, was barely apologetic and laughed it off quite matter of factly - as he left, he handed me his card and said that if I asked for him the next time that I was here he would give me a free appetizer--big deal! I do not feel that he took us very seriously when I told him that my girlfriend's filet was NOT tenderloin--and for the price ($29.90 for a 7-ounce filet) , it definitely should have been. Please look into this and send me an acknowledgement--we MIGHT try your restaurant again someday if hopefully we have reason to believe that it will be as good as it has been in the past. read more

Arrived around 9 pm and sat, a table for 2. Started off great due to a Tuesday night 3 course special. Then escalated from there, Hansel helped me choose the tuna bowl which was tasty and pretty big portion and turned out being delicious. Never been to any Bonefish Grill locations before. I was presently surprised. Prompt, friendly service. Short, simple menu. Bread basket was warm and yummy with a side of seasoned olive oil. We came specically for the Bang Bang shrimp and boy was it Bangin'! The Bang Bang Shrimp was AMAZING! Fire in my mouth!! Those ordering it expecting it not to be spicy are fools. It's in the name people! What made it even more amazing was the price. On Wednesdays $5 gets you an appetizer portion of Bang Bang Shrimp (which is actually a very nice sized portion, good lunch size. I counted about 20 shrimp (each about the size of a quarter). Oh yeah, the place itself is fancy-ish so I was a little uncomfortable when I walked in in my sneakers and hoodie. (I kind of expected it to be somewhat of an Applebee's type atmosphere.) Anyway, no one looked at me funny or made any mention of dress code so I guess it's cool. They probably get a lot of people coming in dressed the way I was. We are in Miami, afterall. The secret is to share plates. There is a small menu with shareable plates only offered from 3-6pm everyday I believe (correct me if I am wrong). Each dish is about $6 dollars but well worth it. Sides are anywhere from $3-7 dollars so you might get a decent meal for around $10 or pay +$20 for their full entrees. I'd go with about 3-4 people and everyone can share from the small plates and be happily satisfied. . . . Atmosphere is dark woody classic restaurant. Very well kept and maintained. I appreciate this atmosphere for a casual drink or a relaxing vibe if that's what you're feeling. Nice for a date But can be pricey. Service has always been great as well. . . . Food is amazing, obviously go for the fish. For starters (or even a meal), the bang bang shrimp is really a must!!!!! Do not think about it, just get it, You will not regret it, trust me. It brings plenty ! You get bread for the table and olive oil with pesto to dip, and you can ask for more dipping as well. As for an entree the Salmon has to be one of the best I've ever had. Wood grilled and nice flavors, comes with your choice of 2 Sides ! . We eat at either the SW 8 St or SW 120 St restaurants several time per month. The difference between these two places is incredible. The one on SW 8 Street keeps getting worse every day. The problem is in the management who don't take the time to properly manage the employees. The flavor of the food is mediocre and the service, except for 2 or 3 great waiters, is horrendous. If you want the real Bonefish experience visit the one on SW 120 Street. It's well worth the drive. Here are three menus that sat on the corner of our table until we left. The manager or assistant manger walked past them at least five times and either didn't notice them or didn't care. The waitress came to our table several time and didn't remove them either. She always has a smile and is eager to give excellent service. She is very attentive to her customers needs. We usually sit at the bar and have never been disappointed. They also pared down their menu & eliminated my favorite dish (crab crusted cod). There are many restaurants that have not raised their prices exorbitantly, eliminated their specials & have taken advantage of their customers using the COVID crisis as an excuse. I really enjoyed the bread serving and the appetizer, which was recommended by our waiter as one of the best - bang bang shrimp. The scallops were slightly over cooked, but overall everything was very tasty, including the two sides I ordered - mash potatoes and veggies. Great place, the salmon was absolutely amazing! We had the bang bang shrimp first and I had the salmon superfood salad which was to die for. The salmon was the star of the show very crispy and tender- cooked just right. The salad was very tasty as well couldn't believe it was kale. My boyfriend had the sirloin with crab cake and his dish was very tasty. My only complain would be that the floor was very greasy and I slipped walking in (very dramatic) but other than that the food was delicious and the service was great. Bonefish grill in Coral springs has some bad management There are a lot of regulars that go in this place and expect good service and safety. This location has failed because of management. Single women need safety and assurance with their well-being while they are there. I personally have experienced two situations one with a customer the second with Management. If you continuously allow the people that make your customers uncomfortable you're doing a bad job as a manager. There's a lot of people in these days that need reassurance they can go to a safe place and in my experience twice you have not accommodated those needs and expectations. read more

I have came here plenty of times before and always loved bonefish. Food and service WAS great. However My recent visit in 6/22 however was completely opposite of what I expected. Everything was overcooked and hard. From the coconut shrimp that I usually can't get enough of, to the supposed "filet mignon" that I ordered "medium" which I'm 99% sure was not filet mignon. I was given a sirloin instead and charged for filet mignon. I'm not one to complain or send food back due to the story's I've heard of what they will do to your food. So I stuck with it. Service started great then little by little just fell apart. 1 side order was incorrect. The waitress asked me if I wanted another beer and I said yes. Never got the beer. About 20 minutes passed and our waitress was nowhere in sight. There was no explanation for this being that the restaurant was 80% empty at this time. Finally we asked for our check and are left waiting about 15 more minutes more before she finally brings it. Food and service here has definitely lost quality. This is no longer one of my favorite places to dine at simply because of this experience. read more

Starting the year off on the wrong foot, came in for lunch with the family and probably 4-5 other tables at the restaurant. We placed our orders, but when the food arrived I was missing the most crucial part of my Salmon salad.... the salmon. Keep in mind I'm currently on a health kick so I ordered the Salmon Caesar salad with no croutons or cheese, so i was brought a cold plate of lettuce with a hefty amount of dressing (too much dressing) I immediately asked about the salmon and if they could add more lettuce to the plate to even out the dressing. The waitress took my plate and in about 10 mins she comes out with a super hot salmon and more lettuce... but also more dressing *confused face*. I don't like complaining so I power thru and start eating my meal, the waitress asked if it was ok and I said "Yea". Then I cut into the salmon, the thick part and it's raw inside smh. I place it on a plate and walk it to the kitchen. After a couple minutes she brings it back but my experience is already ruined, the salmon was extremely hot and slightly undercooked. They don't offer to comp the meal or offer a free dessert. It's been a tough year already. read more

This place not only has unlimited mimosas, but it also has unlimited Peach Bellinis and Passion Fruit Mimosas. To be honest I prefer a peach Bellini and Passion Fruit Mimosas over a traditional mimosa ANY day! BRUNCH FOOD: My favorite dish is the Surf n Turf Benedict; I can't get enough of it. The salmon asparagus salad will leave you wanting nothing else- filling, with goat cheese, green beans, fennel, tomatoes and a citrus herb vinaigrette Chilean Sea Bass- so buttery and delicious you don't even a knife, just let your fork pierce through it, and let your tastebuds do a million happy dances. Paired with your choice : go for the mashed potatoes and a the chimichurri sauce on the side! Knowing she loves fish, Bonefish Grill was a better option than Red Lobster, so this is where we went. This location is nice, like the other reviews say, nice ambience and dim lighting. It was very private and cozy in our little booth. The staff was MIA most of the time, but being a busy day, I'll give em a little slack. It was the food that shone and we ALL left happy, even the grandparents. From entrees like Pecan Crusted Rainbow Trout to Crab Stuffed Sea Bass to Lemon Butter Salmon to Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos - where could you go wrong? Everything was delish, everyone gobbled up the toasty bread and oil dipping sauce, we had to ask for more. The soup for an extra $3 bowl added an to entree was so worth it: Crab Corn Chowder, yum!! And to top it all off, the manager showed he really, really cares... by introducing himself to each table, wishing a Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's at the table, and giving them a box of chocolate and a $10 gift card. I was delighted to be proven wrong and very happy to know there is reliable tasty seafood to be found at Bonefish. We started with the Singapore Calamari and the Bang Bang shrimp - both of these were delicious and could have very well been the end of the meal. Alas we continued to order and had the Rockafeller Mahi, Grilled Chilean Seabass, Salmon and Rainbow Trout. After tasting each dish I can say nothing tasted bad on the table, I heard a couple of zippers get undone. Some how we continued onto dessert and the brownie a la mode made me want to jump up and ask the waitress for a cold glass of milk, it was soooooo good! We waddled out feeling stuffed and happy.
