We did a catering order for our soccer team while in town and David and his crew were amazing! They got every single order perfect, and the boys loved the food. Cannot say enough about the service and quality here. Thank you! read more

It was a shame to see this once marvelous establishment descend to its present state. Everything about it seemed familiar. The waiter was very good. The food was awful. Really dreadful. The mahi was very dry and tasteless. Nothing resembling a chef could have been anywhere near it. It used to be always packed at dinner time. Now mostly empty. I guess people have heard. I tasted the food of my companions. All awful. I can just hear some new manager saying they won't notice the difference. It was impossible to not notice. read more

Loved everything about our dinner here. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly. Always seated at a nice table. Love their drink specials, especially their sangrias. read more

Really nice. Clean restaurant. Very helpful and courteous staff. Food prepared well and crab cake on point. Priced as you would expect for a seafood/steak menu. read more

Have always liked Bonefish Grill except for the noise. However, went there on NYE. Big mistake and never again. Reservations were for 8:00 and we got seated at 8:40. We were a party of seven and they squeezed us into a booth meant for 6 at most. When our server arrived she didn't talk about specials or take a drink order. (In all fairness I think someone in our party told her they were hungry and ready to order.) our food arrived before our cocktails. My meal was mediocre. I guess the moral is don't go there on NYE. I will go back to Bristol instead. One more thing: i had to remind our server that we were celebrating a birthday. read more

We had a great weeknight dinner at the Bonefish. The restaurant was not packed, but we had made a reservation just in case. We were seated when we arrived and had great service throughout the evening. We had the mussels for an appetizer and they were fresh and really good. I had the stuffed cod, also very good. My wife had one of the specials--a butterfish we had never heard about before. She loved the dish and it did remind us a lot of sea bass, a favorite. read more

Best service! Food was good would totally recommend! And I'll be going back soon had a great time!!!

We had 5 in our party. Two had the plank salmon and it was under cooked in the middle. Two had filets. The filets were not cooked to order and tough. I had a very underwhelming pasta dish. Drinks were equally disappointing. Service was nice and manager did apologize for undercooked salmon and offered free appetizers for next visit. read more

My husband ordered an entree salad for each of us tonight, which he picked up and brought home. We ordered the "Florida Cobb Salad" and what a huge disappointment these salads were. What we received was two containers filled less than halfway with iceberg lettuce, 6 whole cherry tomatoes, about 12 very small pieces of mango (about the size of corn kernels) and a handful of pumpkin seeds. He added grilled chicken and I ordered grilled shrimp for mine. We deleted the blue cheese crumbles since neither of us likes blue cheese. This was a SORRY excuse for an entree salad. It was supposed to have avocado on the salad but none was present. The little bit of iceberg looked old. And the clincher was....each of these sorry salads were $17.50. Bonefish has really gone downhill following the same path as Outback Steakhouse! I remember when they first opened, Outback first, you had to get there when they opened or you would never get a table! They were so crowded and popular. Now, sadly, the food quality has gone down so significantly I, honestly, don't understand how they stay in business! We will strike Bonefish off our restaurant list! read more

We go to Bonefish Grill all the time but I've never been for brunch/ lunch. It's definitely one of our favorite go-tos! I think they have some of the best seafood in town! Today we tried creme brulee French toast, crab cake rancheros, and the Oscar omelette. They were all fantastic and super reasonable. For our side dish with the omelette, we chose the goat cheese grits and it was a fun twist. we'll for sure do brunch again (during the week they're only open for dinner) read more

Pretty abysmal visit. The first time was at the Parkville location, was still willing to give it a 2nd chance so tried this location. First of all a waitress spilled a whole glass of water on me, she was barely apologetic as if she had spilled a small drop, my whole pants and shirt were soaked. 2nd bad thing was our food took forever and when we received the food for the person we were celebrating (my son who graduated) received wrong order so he had to wait about 15 more minutes while we all ate to get correct order. Through out the entire meal the waiters kept trying to give us items that belonged to another table. Lastly I didn't like my dish. The Lily's chicken was bland but the goat cheese was overpowering and you tasted nothing else. Very small portions of the artichokes and sauce. I would not bring people here for special ocassions as they are not up to the task to make it a memorable experience food nor service wise. read more

We decided at the last minute to order dinner on Easter from Bonefish. It was also our first time eating Bonefish. We were not disappointed. Online ordering was incredibly easy and flawless. Our food came out curbside at the exact time promised and it was piping hot. I ordered the grilled Mahi-Mahi with grilled lemon, garlic whipped potatoes and green beans. The fish was firm and grilled just right, the grilled lemon I squeezed over the top took it from outstanding to out of this world. The mashed potatoes here are thick and delicious. They have garlic in them but it is very balanced. My green beans were steamed and crisp. My husband's steak and crab cake were to his liking. The crab cake was full of crab meat. Cole slaw is crisp and has just enough mayo to coat it. I was blown away by how fresh everything was and the price for the quality exceptional. But I must say I was even more pleasantly surprised by the kids chicken strips and fries. This was a meal myself, a very big foodie would have devoured. The chicken strips are huge and had to be hand coated. The fries were almost like steak fries but cooked nice and crisp with a good dusting of salt and pepper. Definitely not your average kids chicken strips from the freezer. I love the specials Bonefish runs and you must sign up for their dining rewards. Lots of perks always. read more

While our server was great our dinner was less than satisfactory especially when you consider the price. My friend and I met and ate at Bonefish Thursday 3/23/23. We both ordered the special of Rockford Butterfish (aka black cod) with a creamed spinach/crab sauce and two sides. We should have been suspect when we received our food in less than 5 minutes after ordering. The serving of fish was small as was the tablespoon of sauce. My friend couldn't eat hers as she said it smelled fishy and didn't taste right. I ate mine and then had a rolling stomach the rest of the night. The broccoli was good. The drinks were good. The manager came by and apologized for the fish but refused to take my friends uneaten dinner off our bill. Instead he gave us each a card for a free bang bang shrimp. Our waiter tried again to have the entrée taken off of bill but no luck. This fish special was almost $29.00. The manager told us they were almost out of that fish and would be having a new special coming soon. So guessing this fish wasn't the freshest. Needless to say, we will not be going back there as fish not fresh and overpriced. read more

A Literal Disaster! We were craving seafood and thinking Bristol's, however, made the huge mistake giving Bonefish another chance. What happened to this place? As a professional courtesy, we reported our poor dinner experience to their manager Maureen since it has been a reoccurring issue during business and family outings. Unfortunately, the Bonefish struggles so much with understanding performance issues, they completely neglect their customer experience strategy. Looking back, I would confidently say no effort was ever made to correct the current or past dining experiences. After participating in the manager's questionnaire and noting the staff failed to (1) manage guest seating, (2) accurately enter the food order, (3) prepare the food properly, (4) follow food safety standards, (5) identify service errors and address during the dining experience, (6) apply corrective action, we never heard back from her. Confused and disappointed, we shared our experience with Bloomin' Brands COO Greg Scarlett and Vice President Cathie Koch, but once again - no reply. As a result, we felt used and that our business was no longer welcome. It's difficult to walk away under these circumstances, however, Bonefish's service and food quality have drastically deteriorated. Consequently, we have no other choice but to align with other restaurants. The Bonefish was once a nice concept, one we sincerely hope they can resurrect from the grave. read more

This would have been a 4 star review, reservation was late, dinner was great but it's 5 stars due to exemplary service by Eugene K. He was knowledgeable, attentive and fun. Very saddened to leave this review. Hoping it will get to management to help get Bonefish back on its feet. This Bonefish used to be a restaurant we made sure to bring out of town guests to, and everyone always raved about it, as we always did. It also was close to impossible to get a table in the hours of 5:30-7 without an hour or longer wait time. It was only about 20%, if not less, full the entire time we were there from 6-8:15. Which shows people are seeing what we saw. My family went back for the first time in a few months and it's become pretty disgusting. The food mimics food you would find at a casual chain, like Applebees or Olive Garden. Fish cooked terribly, from the mussels Josephine to the recommended dish I ordered. This was never the case before, it was clear they used to have a chef in their kitchen, now the food tastes like it was microwaved from the freezer. They used to be one of the seafood restaurants in the area with fresh catch of the day, but have done away with that, even though it's still listed on the menu. Our waiter was phenomenal and we appreciated him actually turning us away from a few menu items, but makes me worried what could have been worse than the food we ate. I would never recommend anyone eat here at its current state, unless you have extremely low standards for the food you eat. read more

Dynamite shrimp and jasmine rice. Something so simple is absolutely perfect! The creamy tart of the feta coupled with the spicy of the shrimp and finished with the fresh parsley in the rice is a perfect balance!! read more

I have visited this location quite a few times, and it's always a good pick for tasty seafood. Now that they have added brunch, the flavor packed seafood party continues. We had a few of their brunch dishes and they were great. The fresh seafood atop classic breakfast offerings from benedicts to shrimp and grits to omelets. The mango mimosa and bellini were also a hit. This is a great addition to the local brunch rotation. read more

Bonefish Grill was our choice for a Saturday afternoon date. It was our first visit here, and not during peak dining hours. The server acknowledged that it was our first dining experience, and really made an effort to make sure we were taken care of. The St. George's Bay Scallops were phenomenal and well prepared. The Bang Bang shrimp and Macadamia Nut Brownie were also recommended as their trademark menu items. We enjoyed it all. The manager even came by and greeted us- giving us an appetizer card to use towards a future visit. Needless to say, we will be back. Tip: After reading prior reviews, non-peak hours seem to provide a greater dining experience. read more

This place was so classy and clean I absolutely loved it. I ordered the scallops, bang bang shrimp, and some calamari. The scallops were delicious! And the calamari was amazing too. If you go there I'd definitely recommend the bang bang shrimp it's the best I've ever had. It was a little cold so you might want to bring a jacket otherwise I give it a 100/10. read more

This place is always fantastic! Food is great, staff are some incredible folks. My hat's off to all of them. 5 stars everytime!

Went there for Mother's Day din met. Very disappointed with my meal. I ordered sirloin steak with crab cake. I ordered medium rare for the steak. The steak was served rare which I couldn't chew. The crab cake was nor firm (too moist), the crab was shredded with little to no taste. The green beans were not cooked through therefore i also was unable to eat them. Very dissatisfied customer!! read more

Worth the price this restaurant has fresh amazing food. I love the crab cakes unlike a lot of places they don't stuff them with bread it is just a lot of fresh crab. I was very excited to finally try Bonefish Grill as I have heard many great things. My partner is a pescatarian so I thought this would be a great dinner choice for her and I. We were sadly mistaken. I ordered grilled mahi mahi with shrimp, whipped potatoes and spinach. My fish was so dry and over cooked, it was like charred styrofoam. I ate two shrimp, got to my third and realized it was raw. My partner ordered the shrimp and scallops, and her food was also undercooked. We both got sick. I vomited and she got well acquainted with the porcelain throne. Will absolutely NEVER again order from this place. read more

5 Stars for Bonefish in Leawood Ks and their excellent waiter Eugene. My wife and another couple went to Fishbones last night. Very friendly staff and fully Covid compliant. We were greeted by Eugene who was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He walked us through the menu and let us know if any dietary needs or preferences needed to be made he was more than willing to work with the chef We started with an order of Bang Bang Shrimp which was excellent. I had the crab crusted cod which was excellent. My wife had a sirloin and shrimp special which she fully enjoyed. Our friends had salmon and another special. Side orders were plentiful and flavorful They have an excellent wine list that is well priced Cannot say enough about Eugene who really helped to make the evening so enjoyable around a great meal read more

We had, by far, one of the best, most memorable meals here this week. The staff was fantastic, the food stellar, and the environment very pleasant. Loved every second of it and would go back in a heartbeat. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and hubby had Scallops and Shrimp. I wanted to lick the plate. Seriously, it was that good. Tender, flaky, delicately seasoned fish, paired with tangy, perfectly cooked potatoes au gratin, and a side of zuchinni. And dessert - I thought my hubby had a lapse in judgement when he ordered the flourless brownie, but no, it was spectacular too. (Be sure to split it if you order it though. It's way too much for one person.) Amazing experience. Will definitely go again. read more

Wow! This restaurant far exceeded our expectations! The Ceasar salad was a wonderful opener and the dressing was fantastic. We loved the ciabbatta roll with olive oil and herb dip. For an entrée, I had the gnocchi with crab and shrimp, which had the most incredible sherri and cream sauce. My husband had the blackened salmon pasta and loved it. We shared the lava carrot cake. Delicious! The service was absolutely excellent and all the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!! read more

Visited here for the first time recently and for seafood in Kansas it was pretty good. Had to wait around 30 min which was expected but was nicely surprised when the manager came around with shrimp samples. We ordered the bang bang shrimp to start which I'd heard was a bestseller. Personally I just don't like the taste of the sauce used but the shrimp was very high quality. I ordered the grilled tilapia with the herb pesto sauce and white rice. The sauce was not that impressive but the fish itself was quite good. Overall my favorite thing was definitely the white rice, combined with the tilapia. Very good food, pricy but that is as expected, and pretty good service read more

Came here on a Saturday night and there was an hour wait. Luckily, we found a seat in the bar where we enjoyed drinks while we waited for a table. The drinks were overly sweet for my taste but pretty good. We got half dozen Chesapeake Bay oysters which took forever to go and wasn't shucked too well but it was delicious. The server was attentive but I think the kitchen is just slow because the food took forever. We liked the complimentary ciabatta bread and olive oil, pesto dip. Husband liked his fish and chips but it wasn't anything special. I enjoyed my mahi mahi. Overall, pricy but quality food. I need to try it again to see if it earns that last star. read more

Went for early birthday dinner celebration with my husband. As in early it was 4pm when we arrived. Had ti wait to be seated because we didn't have a reservation. After 15 min wait we were seated in the bar area & had bartender Damon as the waiter. Drinks (smoky old fashions) were promptly delivered in very dirty glasses. The appetizer was ordered & Damon (waiter) said he would go get the bread & pesto oil. Damon brought our appetizer to the table, and we asked about bread. He said he would be right back with the bread. Damon came over to take our dinner order & we told him about our dirty drink glasses and asked again about bread. Damon said the smoke made the drink glasses appear dirty. We told him the glasses were sticky. He didn't seem to care & continued to try to blow smoke up our asses about the dirty glasses. I like smoke in my old fashion, not blown up my ass & boldly in my face! Bread was finally brought to our table right before our meals. I will say our food & meals were wonderful! Kudos to the cooks! After the drink glass conversation Damon was overly attentive to almost annoying and VERY CONDESCENDING to both my husband & myself. Customer service is important, and I didn't appreciate being treated like we had personally insulted Damon. After the check was put on our table & we were finishing our drinks the other bartender came over & actually asked if she could take our payment. How RUDE! We hadn't even finshed our drinks & they were demanding payment. We have had great experiences at the north location but will NEVER be back to this restaurant. Customers need to be treated way more respectfully by the staff of this restaurant. read more
