Horrible place to eat! We tried to eat there for my birthday. Poor service. Poor food. We ended up leaving upon finally ending up.

Be sure, and order your food with no salt because they will over do it if you don't Request. Be sure and dress warm because it's freezing in there. You can request them to turn up the heat and you might get five minutes of warm but then it goes back to blowing cold air on you and your food. My food got cold so fast. The portions are much smaller than they used to be but you're still paying the same price if not more . I will not be back. read more

We ordered the fish and chips, they advertise "generous portions" and we got like a kids meal portion. The quality of the food wasn't great either. Went there tonight ordered the grouper for $30 it was brought to the table it was in pieces, not a whole filet, and was not even close to the advertised picture. It was cold. Sent it back was brought back the same portion cold again the "chef" came out and said I didn't know what I was talking about I refused to eat it. I picked it up and wanted him to feel it was freezing cold but he refused. Don't waste your time or money here it was totally not worth the cost! Also the "risotto" was crunchy and under cooked!! I hadn't been to a Bonefish Grill in years. I was happy to see this one since I love their bangbang shrimp. I was seated right away but had to ask for a happy hour menu. I was not given one or told it was happy hour I discovered that on my own. Nonetheless my server came right away and was super kind and knowledgeable. I ordered a cocktail and the trio appetizer which included the bangbang shrimp, ahi tuna and brussels. The shrimp and Brussels were awesome but it was very clear that the tuna and wasabi had been sitting all day and exposed. The edges were darkening. It happens.. I still ate it. For my entree I went with the group special. It was phenomenal!! I was very impressed. I loved the red sauce on top and especially the cheesy risotto. read more

The lighting and the mood is subtle but alive with friendly conversations. I sat at the bar for dinner since I was by myself, Jeff my bartender was amazing great memory on who's drinking what, made an strong and tasty jack and coke he was also very friendly outgoing and helpful with decision making. My server, I did not get their name, was polite and fast The menu was wide on its selection and offered very tasty selections. The restaurant has an open clean ambiance when you walk in. I had fish and chips while my husband had the signature salad. The batter on the fried cod was light and crispy. It's been a very long time since I've been here. Not sure why except to say that it's been so long if forgotten or maybe didn't appreciate what was there until now. The prices are a bit higher and not a place that I would frequent unless it was great. Well it was pretty dang good. Service excellent, fresh bread was outstanding. The quality of the food was perfect and cooked perfectly. Absolutely loved the flavor or the chicken on my salad. The salad was certainly more expensive than most but worth the higher quality. For gods sake I wasn't sure if I ever had a foodgasm but tonight at bonefish I damn sure did. The place is so badass even the bar was full at 16:30 so I had to go back out to the car to take a nap & wait for some folks fo clear out. Upon my triumphant return inside I was able to snag a bar seat & was greeted immediately by Jeff who then gave me a michelob ultra that was so god damned cold there was a bunch of ice in it so I had to wait 10 minutes to drink that bitch! They even have name tags placed on the bar so you know who your bartenders are & they write YOUR name on the back of it so they don't forget your name. I ordered the cod imperial with asparagus, & Wisconsin bacon Mac & cheese & holy shit was it fanfuckingtastic! They have quite an extensive drink selection & especially from the wine arena. I did take a whiz & upon further inspection the latrine was very very clean so if I needed to I would have felt safe taking a dump in there. The parking lot is very large & thats a good thing because its such a badass restaurant. I was going to take off a star because of the extremely frosty beer but who am I to bitch about a beer thats "too cold" I'm not a democrat for crying out loud. Jeff is a great bartender & kept my drinks full the entire time & also talked me into a dessert of coconut pie that had me wanting to do the no pants dance right there on the bar. If you love badass excellent seafood you damn sure better hit up the bonefish grill baby! We decided to try this for our 25th anniversary dinner as we had never been before. I started off with the seasonal watermelon martini and it was good, but I would have liked to be able to eat the watermelon - it was a little too frozen. I had the whitefish that was also in the seasonal menu and it was really good, recommended by our waiter. My husband had the scallops and really enjoyed them. We started with some kind of seafood dip, I don't remember the name of it, but it was enjoyable. The best part of the meal was our waiter, I think his name was Steve. He was so friendly, on top of everything the whole time - not just at our table but the others he had. We don't often go out of the way to talk to a manager, but we made sure he got kudos before we left because we enjoyed him so much!. read more

So we ordered calamari to start . Moscow mule . Moscow was good but calamari tasted like eating a spoon full of salt . I ordered imperial cod will not do that again the cappers was a bit to much and what every that sauce was could have done with out that . We also ordered the mahi mahi and shrimp . We hadn't been to the Bonefish in several months. It used to be a favorite of ours for special occasions. I'm not sure what happened but it doesn't seem like the same place anymore. Instead of the feeling of "fine dining " it resembles a cafeteria. They obviously have attempted tho fit more patrons in but the tables are too close together and you don't feel like you have any privacy. I ordered the Cobb salad and I could have honestly gone to Wendy's and done better. It was all lettuce and a chicken breast. The service was "okay " but the server was stretched too thin to give any special attention. I had told the person who took my reservation that it was for our anniversary but it was not even acknowledged. We'll go to Fort Collins for our next special occasion. read more

Oh heck YES! After going to the movies with my daughter, we popped into Bone Fish for dinner. The restaurant looks fancy but approachable. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She had some great recommendations as I got the Chilean Sea Bass and scallop potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were like mac and cheese potatoes. I couldn't get enough of them! Tender potatoes and creamy cheese sauce. YUM. We started with the Imperial Dip and their house made tortilla strips. The seasoning on the strips was perfection, slightly spicy and a bit sweet? Paired incredibly with the creamy seafood dip. Lastly, we had the chocolate creme brulee, my mouth is salivating just writing those words out. It was super chocoately, without being heavy. There is no pre bussing, if you're lucky enough to get anything served to you, the empty glasses or plates will sit in front of you while you wait to order your meal or a drink. Excellent! If you have a craving for fish and want something solidly better and slightly more upscale than a Red Lobster, Bonefish is the place. We ordered the calamari appetizer and as usual, it was delicious. On this visit I got the Atlantic salmon and it was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had. My wife's tuna bowl was also very good. Wait times can be long on weekend evenings so plan ahead even a couple of hours and make a reservation. A working lunch necessitated getting take out. The restaurant was almost empty at 2pm and the hostess was kind and efficient. In hindsight, the cup of chowder was not the best choice as it was cold in its cup and there was no way to heat it so it had congealed and was not at its best. The Bang Bang Shrimp was good, but they have started deconstructing it for takeout orders. The shrimp sat alone, the Tablespoon of sauce was in a small cup and the lettuce was in a baggie. As it was a working lunch, it was hard, if not impossible to mix it and have a good consistency of sauce. I wish they'd just have served it as the had in the past, already prepared. I came here with some friends because they said it was the very best seafood around, and I love me some seafood. They fly their fish in fresh daily, and so they always have a fun selection of daily specials. We came here on a cold snowy night and it was still packed. All of the servers were very nice and I was impressed by how much our waitress knew about the fish that was served. I had a few questions about taste and whatnot and she was super helpful! I also thought it was great that all of the fish was guaranteed to be delicious and if you got something that you didn't care for they would get you something else. We started with the bang bang shrimp, and even though I am not a shrimp lover it was really good!! I had the snapper with garlic mashed potatoes and the seasonal vegetable, which was spaghetti squash. I really liked that the seasonal vegetable was actually seasonal and not just a mix of carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower like it is at a lot of restaurants. Everything I had was delicious! My fish was perfectly cooked, tender and flaky and i had the tomato garlic sauce on top, which was a perfect pairing. Flavors were subtle and the squash had just the right amount of crispyness left to it. I also tried a bite of the mahi mahi, ahi tuna steak, and the swordfish. I must saw the swordfish was the winner out of the dishes. It literally melted in your mouth and tasted like heaven, I'll get this next time, even though mine was great too.They also give you a delicious focaccia bread with spiced olive oil to dip it in, soooo good. Dined here last night after receiving a gift card from a friend. I've been here at least four times over the last twelve months but last night's experience was phenomenal. The food was great as it usually is - however, what made last night the best was their staff. Our server "Ashley" was attentive, but not overly so. She worked diligently to find my husband something other than "salad" to eat as he is a vegetarian. I know - we go to a fish restaurant and we expect fish, however that doesn't always work for everyone. Ashley worked with the very accommodating kitchen crew to find a decent meal and they knocked it out of the proverbial ballpark. My meal was excellent as well. We also both enjoyed some wine and a cocktail. There were some minor issues with delivery of water and bread but Ashley kept on top of it. Honestly, it wasn't a big issue to us as we were enjoying ourselves visiting and relaxing after a long day of work. Although our tab was $101 at the end of the evening, our gift card covered all but $1 of it. We left Ashley and the team $100 tip as they truly both earned and deserved it. It is so rare and unusual to find such a dedicated server who really puts in the extra effort to please their clientele. Bone fish has a true gem in Ashley and I hope they are aware of that. We did also let the management know of how great our experience was. We just set out to have dinner and it turned into a unexpected, amazing experience. We will continue to patronize this fine establishment that consistently delivers on it's industry leading service and well prepared cuisine. We do wish they had more alternatives for people who are vegetarian so they can dine with their spouse (like me for example) and friends who might enjoy fish once in a while. Overall - 10/10. Went there for my dads birthday last night. 2 words describe the food. Overpriced and frozen. We ordered a few seafood dishes which were all not very good and seemed to come straight from a freezer. I got a burger which was absolutely doused in in both mayo and another house sauce which made the bun extremely soggy, making the burger fall apart completely almost immediately. The mac and cheese was alright but also felt frozen and lacked any real flavor. Even my dad ordered the lobster tails and ate barely half because of how mid quality the fish was. The staff also seemed nervous and was not a very confident group. Some highlights included the lava cake which was very good and the calamari but lacked a good sauce to go with it. The sauce with the calamari was not good at all. Overall it was a good night but if are thinking of spending some money avoid this place at all costs. read more

I'll give it 3 stars, because in the past it has been a good experience, but the prices are horribly high. Last night was an anomaly. It was a 1 star night there. Usually there is a line to get in, and they take reservations, but it's much easier to get a table by dropping in. We slipped right in with no wait, which was unusual. Maybe that is because they are resting on their laurels. I ordered a dirty vodka martini, and got a lime marg instead. When I sent it back, they discovered that the bartender had poured in lime mix of some kind instead of olive juice. My date had the teriyaki chicken, and it was overly sauced and salty. I tried it and agreed with him. I had the pecan crusted trout, and asked for spinach and coleslaw. She said, "You get another side," so I chose the scalloped potatoes. Turns out she didn't hear me say "COLESLAW" and I got just the spinach and potatoes. The best part of the meal was the spinach. However, I asked for vinegar, and she asked, "Malt vinegar, Red Wine Vinegar, or Balsamic?" I chose red wine, then said, balsamic sounds good. She brought the red wine, and had talked to someone in the back that assured her that I wanted the red wine, because she brought it and told me "This is the best fit." Waited a long time to get boxes to take the food home. But then I wanted dessert and espresso. Te menu has chocolate creme brulee. She said, "Oh, they only have that at Christmas time." Really? Why did I have some about a month ago? ANd what is it doing on the menu, when they print a special of the day menu DAILY? The espresso came 1/2 way through the creme brulee. It didn't have cream with it. $75 for 2 of us, and 1 drink each, a creme brulee and a coffee, (plus 1/2 price bang bang shrimp - the reason to go on a Wednesday), it was not a good night. One waitress even told us her marital problems without any prompting. (Divorce him!) They used to be a special place for a romantic dinner. Now it is an over priced run of the mill place with nothing special about it. read more

Our waiter, Marcel, was incredibly helpful with menu items based on our dietary needs. He takes the time to make sure you feel welcome and are comfortable with your food options. He offered to let us smell some complimentary bread even though we could not eat it. Marcel is smart, helpful, and funny and he makes Bonefish Grill an even better dining experience.
