You've seen the lowest common denominators - grimy tiles, grunty service, scallops MIA amidst a sea of gnarly batter, a few limpid pieces of unidentifiable fish drooping over brown ice. This place is the shining antithesis to that sad notion. The lady that runs it is friendly to a fault and happy to chat about pretty much anything, especially her seafood. Speaking of seafood, there's a vast array of firm, bright fish of all shapes and colours, expertly filleted and lovingly displayed. I picked myself up some sashimi-grade tuna, took it home and sliced it into little melting morsels and devoured the whole thing washed down with a spicy pale ale.
