Not good..
This fish and chip shop is under new management and are clearly very inexperienced. I wasted $26 tonight on two grilled snapper, chips and salad. The oil was old which gave the chips a horrible acrid flavor and they were soggy. The fish, supposedly snapper, was lacking any seasoning and was rubbery, very bland and disappointing. It was a decent size fillet, but not like any snapper I have had before. The Greek salad was not authentic, it contained lettuce and celery and again completely lacked vinegar dressing. The salad and chips are piled on top of one another in the box which made the meal soggy and unappetizing. The olives still had the pips inside them. I will not be back unless they improve. My suggestions: Get compartmentalized boxes for the fish/chips/salad so that it does not get soggy and each item is separated. Season the fish when cooking on the grill. Research how to make Greek salad properly. Get a bigger range of fish and sell fresh fish to take home as well.. and, change the oil REGULARLY. As it stands this was a waste of money and very disappointing. Wont be back unless things improve and will instead drive to the next suburb for fish and chips. read more
