Potstickers (2 sauces) and chicken bao buns.
L N.

We have been here twice and it was great both times! We got bao buns and pot stickers with 2 different sauces and both were delicious. Clean restaurant and fast service. They need to carry Diet Coke but other than that it was top ratings

Soy garlic boneless wings

I'm sure I'll be back... but not soon. I love bonchon but my first experience tonight was being unable to cancel my order (I wanted to cancel and create a delivery order) but cashiers weren't able to... fine, seems like an issue but not the shop's fault. I went to pick up my order and my boneless wings were barely sauced. It looked like a small drizzle of sauce was applied and broiled? Pretty ridiculous to not even toss the wings given the price point. I will probably be making Korean fried chicken at home for the foreseeable future.

Restaurant was completely empty when I picked up. Now I understand why!

No, no, nope. I'm really not sure what happened to this place but this is not acceptable. I would recommend skipping unless you want to run the risk of being served this undercooked garbage. Was really looking forward to Bonchon after not visiting in quite some time. I had trash a whole order of chicken. My family and I will not be back.

Buldak

If you like spicy, can't recommend the Buldak enough. Dish is enough to feed two and makes for great leftovers. Only knock is the restaurant is a bit pricey.

Came back to this Bon Chon after a while. The restaurant was dark, waitor was slow, and food took a while to come out. the wings were cooked right, they were crispy and juicy. We have our wings in 3 different sauces: Yangyum, Spicy, and Soy garlic. The yangyum sauce was pretty delicious, and the spicy was really spicy. However, the soy garlic was too salty. It was almost inedibale salty. If the cook went a bit easier on the salt, i think these wings would have been perfect. Bonchon at other locations have so much more to offer compare to this one so i wouldn't come back here again

If you have never had Korean fried chicken you are sleeping on it!! Bon Chon is so delicious and flavorful and the chicken has the best crispy outside but juicy chicken meat inside I lived right up the road from a Bon Chon in Columbia, MD and both the WC and MD locations are very consistent with flavors and temperatures of foods My favorite things on the menu are: the spicy wings- either flavor is good though, the calamari, and the kimchi I docked a star because it's really expensive. A few wings will run you $15-$16 easily

Yangnyeom chicken - barely any sauce on it
YOON L.

I decided to leave an updated review since this place has gone downhill and I want them to improve. Last few times I ordered, I noticed there was barely any sauce. When I placed a phone order I asked them to make sure there is enough sauce bc last few times chicken did not have much sauce on it (Korean fried chicken is all about sauce - if there is not enough sauce it is not Korean fried chicken) they charged extra ~$2 and there were still barely any sauce on the chicken (see the photo). I am not sure if they are trying to cut the cost or what not but this is really disappointing. Unless they fix the issue I won't order from this place anymore.

Bulgogi Fried Rice & Soy Garlic Chicken

First time visiting this Bonchon location. We ordered the lunch combo with soy garlic chicken and season fries. As well as their bulgogi fried rice and pork buns. Their staff was friendly and attentive. Service was great and we were seated quickly! Highly recommend!

All I can say is order the pork buns. They are delicious. The fried chicken was pretty good but seriously, the pork buns.

Got the lunch special with fried chicken. The chicken has way too much breading and was very greasy. I would not go there again.

So I don't understand some of the bad reviews here. We must be only hearing from the haters and all the lovers aren't speaking up. BDubs Asian Zing has always been my favorite flavor. However, the Asian Fusion flavor here is even better than that! This is now my new favorite! We also had the buffalo garlic, which were also very good. The service was great! The owner came out and spoke to us and was super cool! I like how we got big cups of ranch, not just the small ones like you get at other places. Lastly, their boneless wings were amazing because they weren't heavily breaded like some places do. Those can be good also, but I loved how these were just boneless and tender pieces of chicken with delicious sauce! Awesome place!

Seemed to be very clean but pretty empty so not sure if that's a good sign. The waffle fries were delicious. The lemon pepper sauce was interesting. Very oily and barely had any of the actual lemon pepper seasoning in it. The hot boneless wings were weird. The taste was fine but the texture of the chicken was different. Probably wouldn't order here again unless I was absolutely starving and nothing else was open.

Do not park in the lot next to the building because it is for the US Postal Service and your vehicle will be towed. There is a parking garage around the corner on the corner of Walnut and Chestnut Streets. The cost is 25 cents for every 15 minutes. We ordered an Old-Fashioned with Woodford and a Blueberry Shaker. The Blueberry Shaker was only 3 dollars more than the regular drink and it yielded a total of 4 drinks for my partner. The drinks were good. For our meals we had the Steak and Shrimp Bourbon, Bourbon Street Burger, and a side Caesar Salad. Everything tasted very good. The decor is New Orleans Style although not completely authentic. There is a beer garden for those who want a less formal atmosphere. The hostess was incredibly good at her job. She was very friendly and engaging. We really enjoyed her service. First, my girlfriend and I arrived to the restaurant. We requested a specific table, and the host was gracious enough to do so. We then waited 8 minutes before our table was even touched, and it was just our (server? No intro, nothing) ASKING us if we'd like water. We say yes, and then waited an additional 5 minutes just to receive water in PLASTIC cups. Again, this person never told us his name, and we weren't even sure if he was taking our order or not. He appeared to be about 18, and was most certainly high Then, we requested glasses, and since it had been 15+ minutes since we sat down, said we were ready to order when we got the glasses. The guy took our order. We both got cocktails, which also took about 10 minutes. Finally, our appetizer came. We weren't even halfway through before the entrees came, we probably had about 10 minutes to finish it. This all could have been negated if our order was taken correctly, and things could have been staggered correctly. The "two bite" check occurred within 30 seconds of our food being dropped, and by then I hadn't even touched my food. It was way too early and felt like he was just trying to get it out of the way. At that point both my girlfriend and I were just ready to eat and we said everything was fine. I had to ask the guy for a bag on the way out, rather than him giving me one after our food was put into 3 boxes. I want to be empathetic of whatever was going on at The Social that Sunday. Yet, if you are going to make your steak $42, the service needs to justify that price. I will not be going back to The Social, and encourage their management to speak to their server who flubbed the ENTIRETY of my experience there. Myself and my girlfriend both work in the service / restaurant industry, and we know what good service is. We also understand that there are bad days. This was just abysmal. 4/10.

Great place to catch up with like minded sport, travel and political friends. Ron the bartender during the day is the GOAT of bartending in Chester county maybe all of PA. I personally keep a notebook of his life & health wisdoms. Secret thing to know is that they will roll up that "best of" cheesesteak into a wrap and put a fried egg and jalapeños in it if you're willing to give up a little of that incredible steak because you just can't get that much meat into a wrap! . Their fries are a must. I live in Arizona a lot of the year but always look forward to getting back to The Stone Tavern in the spring!

We were promptly seated in a mostly full dining area just to the right of the entrance around 12:30 pm on a Thursday. The dining room was spacious with plenty of room between tables though the booths are a tad tight. A large bar area with lots of TVs looked appealing as well. Drinks were quickly ordered and served as we perused the menu. While we had both looked at the menu prior to coming, and had an idea of what we wanted, there were so many appealing options that we second guessed a little as we made the tough decisions to not order way more than we could consume. Finally we decided on The Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with fries, the Ribeye Cheesesteak with fries, and a bowl of the Tomato, Bacon Mac & Cheese with the agreement to split the sandwiches and mac & cheese so we could both try additional items. Three very full and visually appealing plates of food arrived quickly (about 10-12 minutes after ordering) and we were ready to dig in. First up was the Ribeye Cheesesteak with caramelized stout onions, truffled local mushrooms, and sharp provolone on a Liscio's roll. Immediately viewable was the limited amount of cheese that was only lining the roll and not mixed into the meat in any way. Biting into the sandwich revealed a dry meat with a distinctly non-cheesesteak flavor. It wasn't bad, but it just tasted like a bland steak and cheese sandwich. The sharp provolone didn't make it to the party and had no noticeable presence. After eating half of my portion I added some ketchup which helped some with the dryness. This was a 25 out of 5 and I wouldn't bother ordering it again. I also started to consume the shoestring french fries while I ate the cheesesteak, and they were delicious. Crisp with just the right amount of salt. 4.5 out of 5. Next up was the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with thinly shaved Black Angus beef that is roasted daily, served with Au Jus, and horseradish sauce on a long roll. Topped with cheese and loaded with meat, this is what I was most looking forward to and couldn't wait to take a bite. I wish I hadn't! By itself, this was probably the blandest sandwich I have ever had in my life, while dipping into the Au Jus definitely improved the flavor, it still wasn't enough. I tried adding the horseradish sauce, but that was a sad approximation of real horseradish. Worst of all was the meat itself, where I had three different bites that were fatty/gristly and couldn't be chewed. Can't say I've ever had that from a roast beef sandwich before. 1.5 out of 5. Lastly, we had the Tomato, Bacon Mac & Cheese consisting of cavatappi pasta, applewood smoked bacon, and some diced tomato. This was sadly also a disappointment. The quality of the cheese left something to be desired and the sauce was very runny in consistency even after letting it sit for 10 mins while everything else was eaten. Another bland dish that neither of us even bothered to finish or box up to take home. Ketchup couldn't save this. 2 out of 5. Other than the fries, the only other bright spot was the service. Our waitress Isabella was polite, attentive, and performed her job well. Refilling drinks and making sure we were taken care of. 5 out of 5 for service. Affordability... for the three dishes and two Diet Cokes the total came to $57.27 with tax plus a $12 tip. The portion sizes were strong, but the flavor eliminated any value proposition. Overall, the food looked far better than it tasted and I was really disappointed in the meal. I had hoped I'd found a good local pub to take family and friends, but The Stone Tavern doesn't cut it. 2 out of 5 rating with no good reason to return.
